Okay. But let me tell you something about that tile. I have both the tiles and apple tags. The tile is extremely slow in the process of updating you and real time tracking. The apple tag has a faster refresh rate and will show you the object moving way faster that the tile.

@teamgeist3328 I'd still say it's relevant. If I buy a tracking product with the intention to track stolen goods, I want it to update and inform me as quickly as possible. Apple air tag has a lot more benefits versus the tile. Bringing up reliability and speed is very relevant to the situation. Regardless of how the police respond.

Tile only works with other tile users. Air tags work with all Bluetooth apple devices and since half of America has apple products you’re going to have a much higher chance of finding your item.

Oh and don't go throwing rocks in glass houses, everyone needs to consume something to make it and unless you're living off the land, growing your own food and building your own cabin etc etc - you should really step away from your judgement of others, it doesn't reflect well on you when thats the only thing strangers on the internet have to go by!

I think it depends. If you already have a ton of knives or water bottles, then yeah. But if you genuinely need a new knife or water bottle these would be good options. If anything, the knife is actually quite sustainable because he said it can be used for multiple purposes instead of needing a ton of knives for each purpose.

Zojirushi is a Japanese brand. I’m not someone who cares much for items I own (so that extends to brands), but there are a few things in my life I value so much that I would be sure to replace them with the exact same model if it broke. One is a Japanese thermos. It basically has the same mechanisms as this one, except the lid screws off and becomes a little cup. There’s another part you can screw off but you’d only do that to put a drink in it. The main lid has a mechanism to open and seal the pouring part, it’s a small hole, and the lip is small but it’s still comfortable to use if you want to drink directly out of it instead of putting it in the cup. Another great thing is this, on the cap it says “upside down for cooling”, I translated it out of curiosity after years and didn’t know what it meant. But the next time I used it I had super hot tea inside, tried pouring it into the cup with the bottle upside down and guess what it was like the perfect bearable hotness to drink instead of cautiously sip. I think because the hole is small, if you tip the whole bottle upside down to pour out a hot drink… it’s kinda hard to explain but essentially it pours the drink in a way that it makes a bit of bubbling, it’s not messy it just exposes the drink to more air, and it cools down the drink a lot if it’s too hot. Now is when you find out I’m not trying to sell you something lol, I don’t even know what the brand is, I only know it’s Japanese because on the cap it has those instructions. Most of the other few items I have, the ones that I really value, are Japanese. The quality and thoughtful engineering is amazing

If you don’t live in a metropolitan area skip the tile. We put one on my dad’s keys because he forgets his phone in the car all the time but always remembers his keys. He had a medical emergency one day and was mindlessly driving around but left his phone at home. I tried to track his tile but it wouldn’t update with a current location. He finally came back to himself and made it to where a friend found him. I looked into it and like the AirTags it is based on how many other people have tile products. The ting is that a large portion of any city have some sort of apple product. No so with tile. I wish I had known that before I bought it. Also in order to use the find my phone feature the app had to open on your phone at all times. Tile is crap

  • @Got2Bespoke

The Zojirushi "mugs" are amazing and they do keep things hot for so long that I sometimes have to leave the lid open for a while to get my tea to cool to a point where I can comfortably, and in a timely manner, drink it. I'll often find ice in them 24 -36 hours later (depending on the surrounding environment). My only suggestion is to go for the Stainkesst Steel Interior, unless they've improved their coated interior as I did hear read reviews of the coatinf flaking off after some time. But, that could also be due to the way the reviewers were caring for their mug. But, Zojirushi make amazing products, which also include some of the best bread makers and rice cookers!

A cleaver style is good for general use but absolute garbage for anything that requires precision. Buying a small selection will give you flexibility in what you do. I get two different chefs knives, a filet knife and a paring knife and with those 4 knifes you are set. You can swap a chefs knife for a serrated if you’d prefer but those 4 knives are the basics. You don’t see many professional kitchens using a Chinese cleaver because they’re not as useful across the board. Having more variety gives you better options and they’ll last longer.

the biggest problem with these tile trackers is they have to be within the 250 to 400ft bluetooth range and cost a few dollars less than airtags (for the cheapest model) but some features are locked behind a $3 a month/$30 a year subscription. apples airtags can be found anywhere as long as there is a nearby iphone (essentially everywhere most people would be).
basically if you have apple products, there is no contest but if you are on android the tile is a decent option

I purchased a Zojirushi mug 10 years ago and I still have it. It's the best! My parents still use a Zojirushi flask they purchased in the 80s. Amazing Japanese brand!

Tile is literally the worst thing I've ever invested in. Bought one after losing my wallet. Lost it again a couple months after getting the tile shown in the video and it could not find it at all. It was in my friends car and it couldn't find it until she pulled in my driveway. I pay $3 a month for this worthless technology. I didn't buy it so I can find my wallet in my house smh

Pro-tip: If you flip that Victorinox (or any knife with a blade you want to last) over, use the flat top edge instead when you scrape items from your cutting board, it’ll stay sharp HELLA longer 👍🏼

Zojirushi also makes the best rice makers of all time. They take a while to cook, but you van leave rice in there for over 12 hours and it will be essentially the same as when it was first made.
