Thanks for this! I had an upgrade kit for my Hoss that included a ton of parts and not a lick of instruction, but those metal wheel hexes I got and the pins that came with them are ever so slightly thicker so it kinda pops into the hex under a little pressure, and also is a tiny bit taller, but you wouldn't be able to tell unless you looked really up close at them, otherwise they look identical. When they are sitting inside the hex, it's a huge difference. I actually busted the smaller pin in 3 pieces and I can see how on one side of the hex, the pin just jammed into the side until it busted. I'm surprised how well the wheels themselves have held up though. Same with the driveshaft. But it runs well now so far. I've only had it about two days really and it's my first basher.

Thanks so much for watching. I'm still learning about cars every day. Sometimes certain items are hard to find and you need to substitute. Wheel hexes come in so many shapes and sizes you really need to pay attention. The EAT04 is very durable. I did break my front hinge pin brace on mine and had to make one out of aluminum as a replacement. Other than that I have had no issues and I really bash mine hard. Good luck with your new basher I hope you get lots of run time without any breakage. 👍👍
