Thanks man, it's all about the fun! The mini LMT would be a great truck for upgrading as the parts are plentiful and resonably priced. But then it's just not the same as driving the full size LMT.

I had to shave off a bit on the plastic skid but did not drill into the LMT side plates. The holes lined up so that was good. It was fun as an exsperiment but not really that fun to drive. I have ordered a few more Ryft parts and eventually I'll just make it into an Axial Rift with cage. It was a fun exsperiment but not recomended. It will probably take a while to get all the parts I need and cost way too much but the Ryft really looks like a fun RC to take up hills and bash over stuff. 🫶

Good advice. You’re probably lucky to get much for them and end up buying the same thing a few years later at a higher price. Many years ago I was heavy into the synthesizer world. I had like 3 rack full or sound modules, effects and vocal processing units. Computers and special sound cards and so on. I basically gave away all my stuff or sold it. All that gear went way up in value. Mainly my Roland keyboards. Anyways .. to make a long story short, hang on to your stuff. Especially your tools.

@@RCRoads I made a similar mistake but with rack mount guitar equipment and an RG570 Ibanez guitar

Thanks buddy. The paddles, locked diff and slipper eliminator all work to give it good traction. I really should do a speed run with it in the dirt. It’s a bit hard to keep it running straight.

@ a few years ago I got back into the hobby after about a decade and I’m so impressed with new rc stuff the batteries and motors are light years ahead 😆 I got 2 brushless lipo raptors to race with my nephews & it’s a blast.
