Why are there not a billion likes for this, this is genius!!!! Not only are lentils gluten free but are a super food! And love the no waste ideas for when you mess up a wrap, I do lots of how not to waste food videos myself
As someone who regularly makes the South Indian crepe, dosa, I was fascinated by your technique of spreading the batter with a brush! Will try and thanks for this video
Just found you, great recipes! I appreciate all your gluten free videos so much. I make my lentil wraps thinner by doing 3 cups water to 1 cup lentils and cooking them in the microwave 60-90 seconds, on a silicone mat I cut to size. You can spread them almost paper thin, I get 16 wraps from 1 cup lentils!
Excellent recipe! Thank you! So much better as the wrapping is so much more nutritious & baking them so much better than frying. Fyi : add black pepper when using turmeric as it increases the absorption & bioavailability of the antioxidant turmeric. 🥰🙏🏼🌱
Looking forward to you switching to PINK or Sea Salt... !!! LOVE the pastry brush trick... AND the ability to add any messed up pancake wraps BACK into the batter and blend... amazing! * Thanks for your ideas & Efforts...
Glad you like the video and the brushing of the lentil mix. I also use the same technique for making lentil tortilla wraps but I turn them over and lightly cook the other side too. I find that even cooking them in a crepe pan they still come out too thick for wraps hence the painting method
The painting technique is something I saw years ago on a programm about Veitnam and that was how they made their rice paper. Like all my recipes I just adapted something I saw and did it my way
with the red lentil wrap ones I usually just bake them in oven till they brown but they can also be fried like normal samosas too. I fry with rapseed oil for better flavor and I find veg or sunflower changes the taste
In short the answer is yes. I sometimes use a cast iron skillet to make them but the heat has to be slightly lower and you have to work quicker as the cast iron seems to transfer the heat quicker so you could burn them if too high but, hey ho its a win win recipe cos if you add the burned wrap back into the mix and re-blend with water it also changes the taste a bit to more of a smokey taste too so you can'teally lose.. I wrould do the quicker method tho(roller method) in cast iron as shown after I poured it back into mix then work it quicker and it should be ok. Let me know how you get on :)

Yes, but the garam masala is half pepper, so extra isn't needed!
Fantastic
What an ingenious technique!

Interesting! How do you fry it?
with the red lentil wrap ones I usually just bake them in oven till they brown but they can also be fried like normal samosas too. I fry with rapseed oil for better flavor and I find veg or sunflower changes the taste
I have the exact same mini food processor and absolutely love it. If you see one on a shopping Channel, get it. You won't be sorry!
What is this mini processor called? I’m looking for one.
I think you deserve a lot more subscribers, love your channel 🙂
Mind blown, I never knew I could "paint" lentil wrap straight onto a pan! Would this work on cast iron?

@@foxsweightwatcherkitchen854 Many thanks!
And the recipe takes soooo long!
Can you freeze them and put into oven when you want to eat them?
coriander and curry leaves the smell
THANK YOU
In another video the supposed-to-be same red lentil batter spread out quite nicely while this one is thick and pasty.
Pardon me, but you talk like an Auctioneer, way too fast, faster than I can understand, Please slow down.
