Every year at Christmas, I put on the two VHS tapes of the little house on the Prairie Christmas episodes and wrap Christmas presents as I watch. one of my all time favorite series.💞
+Nana Papa Thanks!!! my mom had bought me the tapes years ago and now that she has passed away it makes me think of her and smile☺ one of my favorite things to do at Christmas
Everything Michael Landon touched was golden... Right from playing Little Joe, Bonanza, and Little House, to Highway to Heaven. He was definitely unique and very gifted... Especially in a spiritual sense. 😇
+Besa65 Yes, but god save you if you were the romantic interest of any of the Bonanza men (esp Little Joe). Joke on Happy Days about how his brides never made it to the altar!
+Wakkosgirl Even Michael himself stated that being his romantic interest the actresses knew it was for only one show and they would die off in the end or move away to who knows where and never return.
I did hear about that. However, I was just referring to his unique style in creating such heartwarming and heart-tugging shows. I have a soft spot for him. His mother was really abusive towards him. a documentary about him once told how she would punish him for urinating in bed by displaying his soiled sheets out the window to embarrass him into stopping. How cruel and heartless, especially for a mother ;((( I think he was yearning for love and he expressed in his shows how he wanted life to be... so sad :(((
+Brett_T7276 7276 Yes, I didn't know that he had cheated with other women but I read that he met his final wife Cindy on the show when she was a stand-in for one of the students- was also a makeup artist, I guess. He broke his wife Lynn's heart, so for therapy- and revenge, too, probably, she started a club with other celeb wives who had been dumped; they called it the First Wive's Club.
Peggy Cassidy Actually, the show first started filming in 1971, and ended in 1981 or 2. So if she were about 30 at the time the show started that would make her 72
Melody Armstrong Thanks. I knew she was close to 70. For some reason, I thought that this Video was taken quite a long ago. i should have known by just looking at them that it wasn't a Long time ago. She does look young for her age.
+Melody Armstrong Yes i agree! karen grassle aged pretty well. She is nice for her age but Laura did plastic surgery and she is ugly now..she should better have stayed the way she was.
I had a pretty tough childhood. This show helped me get through it. It was good to see that a family can love each other through good and bad times. Great show!
I I’m old enough to have watched the show when it first aired. My childhood wasn’t all bad, but it was messed up at home, and when I was forced to spend time with my Nana. Then I in third grade the other kids sensed I was an easy target, and _school_became a misery too. Little House and The Waltons were like a balm on my spirit. Luckily I had a wonderful, always loving Grandma, or I might have thought shows with families like those were a lie. I’ve known people whose home lives were so bad it was too painful for them to watch those shows. My Grandma was the one who bought me a boxed set of the books. I still have them, box and all. I’ve had to move a couple of times when I could take very little with me. That boxed set is one of the few things that has come with me wherever I’ve gone. BTW, I met Richard Thomas (Johnboy on the Waltons) once. He is an absolutely lovely human being. So was the late Jerry Orbach, such a real, kind gentleman. I met them when I was working at a boutique hotel in my late teens (back in the Jurassic period 😉). We hear so often of celebs who were made out to be so nice, turn out to be awful. It’s wonderful to meet or hear of actors and other celebrities who remember how to be human.
Melissa Sue Anderson was incredibly beautiful as a child, with those two magnificent blue eyes and long blonde hair, she still was at this 2014 reunion and still is from what I see in some recent photos of her.
Your comment is making me cry here. I just started looking stuff up about this show because my mom said that she always dreamed of living there too. She went through a lot of abuse in her childhood. I'm so sorry you had to go through that.
What a great show this was! They don't make shows like this anymore. Nowadays you don't even have to be a great actor to have a show. Boy do I miss these years.
@@teamcougars I don't know if it's still on, because I don't have cable, but if you can find When Calls the Heart, please check it out. It's produced by Michael Landon Jr. It's just a nice, family show, set in Canada. About a teacher and a Rocky Mounted Police. It's just such a good feeling show.
+gunnysgirl Yeah, the one that made me Cry was when Eliza Jane Wilder thought she found love and got her heart broken, and sacrificed her home, and job so her Brother Almanzo could have a happy life with his Wife Laura.
This show was responsible for my Godly upbringing. It witnessed to me that Jesus will always be there for me and showed me that I will have eternal Salvation to those who call on Him. It's not a religion it's a relationship. God Bless this show.
This onscreen family gave me a sense of family and strength that I longed for from my own. This show made me a better person because Michael Landon always portrayed love at the core of everything and because of that, through the writing and by everyone involved, it affected who I am today. Love and a sense of comfort and security that sometimes we had to turn on a television to see existed. Thank you to all involved. Love and peace.
Lola Lolita unless you made the smallest mistake on set-in the earliest season Melissa Gilbert recalled making a mistake & Michael(Eugene) told her that's ok but dont let it happen again--also, being a chain smoker i'm sure contributed to his demise
Some people might find it weird what I'm about to write, but watching this made me a little emotional. I have been a faithful viewer of this show since I was 4. I own every episode on DVD. What's weird is that I see them in a way as my own family. Watching most of the cast together makes me feel as if I am at my own family reunion. Whenever I'm having a bad day, I watch an episode of LHOTP, and by the end of the episode, I'm all cheered up. Love this show. I personally had a crush on MRS. BEADLE, the teacher.
Antonio Caban Actually it was Miss Beadle, not Mrs. She later married a man named Adam. Her name was Eva. I thought it was cute, they were married, when they told the Justice of the Peace their names were Adam and Eva, he thought they were kidding.
Peggy Cassidy Lol. That's right, I forgot. I remember an episode when Mary had to get glasses and was upset because they were calling her four eyes and she thought they made her look ugly . Then she witnessed a handsome beau come to pick up. Ms. Beadle, who wore glasses, as we all know. That made Mary feel confident about wearing glasses.
I absolutely love Little House on the Prairie!! I'm only on season 4 and craving to watch the rest! It's such an insirational show. I'm only 13 and my little siblings are 9 and 5 and they love this show!
Wonderful show. LHOTP was a favourite of ours growing up but only now do I appreciate it for what it was. A SUPERB show that could be enjoyed by everyone; no bad language, no smut, just excellent acting. God Bless Michael Landon.
This show made me appreciate what little my family had when I was growing up. Being poor but yet being with loved ones. I was only 11 years old when I saw this show in the late 80's and it taught me a lot.

Me too! Just rediscovered it...takes me back to a good time.
Leuk om te zien ik ben 53 jaar en een enorme fan van little house ik heb de hele serie op dvd in mijn 2 e huis in het buitenland en kijk er veel naar,God bless you all.
+Mike Hudson she is a beautiful woman, Melissa Gilbert sent goose pimples down my spine too, wish it was me giving her her first kiss rather than Dean.
I had a HUGE crush on her growing up! What I use to view as wholesome, sweet, honest and innocent back then I now view her today as Sexy, intelligent, sophisticated, empowering woman. Is a man my age still allowed to have the kind of dreams I had back then but with an adult ending?
I recorded EVERY episode, while I was pregnant with my daughter. NOW she has them, and it's too bad there's not more show's like this, and less trash and violence. Our kids ARE influenced by what they watch! 😇
This was MY show growing up. Every time I hear that music I get chills and tear up. I had the hugest crush on Charles Ingalls. And I remember how much I related to Laura. This show will never grow old to me. Classic in every way. Wish Michael was here to see this.
As a child this was one of my favorite shows. I still watch the reruns when I have time. I also watch many of the shows from the 1960's & 70's. Now that the world has become such a violent, cruel & depressing place; the old shows bring back great memories of such better times that are long gone. Never to happen again. These shows are such a (temporary) escape from today's reality.
Isn't that the truth. I sometimes wonder if a show like LHOTP were to be on today's television programming, would it be mocked, laughed at/rejected because of it's "corny" family values, and reliance on God, or overwhelming embraced, because this nation is so lacking in such things.
Marty Howe Ironically, it was mocked and laughed at when it first aired in the 1970's. I actually think because of the state of the world today that it would be welcomed more now.
I loved Little House on the Prairie when it first aired on TV all those years ago, and it is such a lovely surprise to see this reunion many years later on air. God bless Michael Landon for his wonderful work in creating a beautiful family series that will resonate with many generations in the years to come.
I love Alison Arngrim. She is so sweet and I loved her autobiography. She has such a big heart and it’s so funny and ironic considering her character on the show!❤️
That's usually how it works. The heavies on screen are the nicest in real life. Lotte Lenya played the horrible Rosa Klebb in the Bond film From Russia With Love, but in real life she was just a wonderful person. Similarly with Maggie Hamilton, the wicked witch/Miss Gulch in The Wizard Of Oz.😢
this is one of my favourite shows ever I started to watch it when I was like 11 and it has taught me lots about life and how even when it gets hard when you have family around you can make it through this show is very special to me and im sure to others as well
I have watched and loved Little House since I was a child. How wonderful everyone looks! Every episode warms the heart and inspires me to love my family even more. I love Alison Arngrim, she is so funny and entertaining, and Karen Grassle is the mom everyone always wanted. I still watch them today and still cry...they always touch my soul. What a beautiful show and beautifully acted as well. Half-Pint was so adorable as a little girl and I love her today, such an accomplished actress and a wonderful lady. I wish Michael Landon was still around, miss him so much..What a talent.
I love this serie. Its part of my childhood. It always remembers me of my father. We watched it together. Litttle house on the prairie is timeless ....😍
I have just begun watching this show and I adore it ! Every morning from 10:00 till 1pm ! True entertainment channel ! I love it , no one makes shows like this anymore, it's lovely I could watch it all the time 💜
+JasonfromMinnesota So true! They talk over each other and then it becomes a mass of voices that you cant decipher who is saying what. So annoying! Let them speak in turn, its basic manners.
+JasonfromMinnesota YES, that's why I don't watch this show on television. I just happened to catch this on UA-cam, and all the cast really looks great. Melissa Gilbert is right, alot of the cast has 'gone', so there's no need for a Prairie film. But I wish the interviewers had shut up so some of the actors could speak for pete's sake.
It's the world wide Marxism and Satanism which have ruined people. Love, trust and family are ridiculed the same time as self-indulgence and narcissism are put on the pedestal. The world today is totally infantile and regressive.
+Jaime Lannister How did they make it sound like that? They mean people said nice things to each other. Family had communication with each other. You could strike up a conversation with a stranger in a store standing in line. People cared. Now look at us Americans. we don't get our way.... we blow Shit up. to each other in cities and in other countries.
When l fist watched Little House On The Prairie was in the beginning of 80’s 3 years after l immigranted from Hong Kong to Canada . I felt in love with it and it also helped me learning my English language!
Beautiful show with beautiful people, currently watching re-runs in the UK, It's so nice to see you all grown up while Karen still looking amazing, love you all guys and thanks for the most wonderful TV show. X
I'm now in my 40S and I still don't miss an episode of Little House after work. July 2020 and this show takes me away from all that's going on in the world 💯👍🌈🙏
I'm French, i love to watch this show again, again and again. I'm never tired of it ! I love the actors and it's so sad Victor French and Michael Landon passed away twenty years ago ... A great thanks to the "Little House on the prairie" actors and everybody worked in the show ! :)
That's because MSA was just an amazingly beautiful child & young woman. A great bone structure usually promises you will look great all of your life, if you take care of yourself.
"Pilot" is the best tv-movie ever! My favorites episodes are: "A Harvest of Friends" - "Mr. Edwards Homecoming" - "The Lord is My Shepherd" - "Plague" - "The Richest Man In Walnut Grove" - "Ebenezer Sprague" - "A Matter Of Faith" - "Little Girl Lost" - "The Bully Boys" - "To Live With Fear" - "Theres No Place Like Home"- "Blind Journey". R.I.P. Michael Landon!
omg i just loved this programme i was 7years old when i first saw this wonderful programme you all bring back beautiful memories loved yous all god bless you all
For me, "Little House in the Prairie" reminds me of a time when families were happy, stable, safe and men faithful, caring and loving husbands and fathers as they should all be, seldom were and are even less and less that way in the world we live .... hence, the big mess in which we live .... and no wonder more and more women no longer want to have anything to do with their unreliable male counterparts...
ive been watching little house since i was a first grader in elementary school, now I'm beginning my freshmen year in high school. I watch it over and over again. Its like they have shaped who i am. love the show.
I loved this show back then, even getting home late off the bus living on the farm, we my siblings and I we got home late and still did our chores on the farm. I'm from Minnesota
I watched this show every Monday growing up! I've been watching a few in reruns lately, and it has reminded me why I loved it so much! Great feel-good, show... epic, the writing, the music...each show like a real full length movie! Often have teary eyes at the end.
Every Monday that it was played in Greek TV the roads were like a desert. Every family was watching. It is a shame that nowdays children are watching trash. If they were watching tv series like the little house on the prairie all the kids would be caring about other human beings, they would live in a better world.
well if we controlled our society the right way back then, we wouldnt have these problems, blame it on the people who wanted to be loose with their morals back then, its really having its consequences now
TASSOS 191 . good point my geek friend. love yer country. i lived there in 1977 and 78 its sucha shame whqats hapopening now with thefinancial crash in europe devastating ppls lives. the same in ireland!
Lame part is they used to show Little House on KBYU every week night and we always watched it. But like a year or so ago they took it off. The lamest thing they ever did do. :(
i watch the re runs every day, it brings some warmth to my bitter heart i love it so much. they are all still gorgeous and amazing. thank you for being apart of my childhood xoxoxo
Every year at Christmas, I put on the two VHS tapes of the little house on the Prairie Christmas episodes and wrap Christmas presents as I watch. one of my all time favorite series.💞

wow- Karen Grassle was 72 at the time of this reunion. She looks amazing ! ! !
joe r newsom When was this made? 20 years after the show? Wouldn't that make her more like 55-60? Remember this show was filmed around 1997-2000.

Melissa Sue Anderson looks amazing.
+James Kennedy I agree she does still look great.
+James Kennedy Smokin'!
+BachRock Definitely.
+otterlover95 My parents watched the show when I was young but I didn't really remember much about the series or the characters.
+James Kennedy She was always a pretty girl with those GORGEOUS eyes! She should still be working...
Melissa Sue Anderson was incredibly beautiful as a child, with those two magnificent blue eyes and long blonde hair, she still was at this 2014 reunion and still is from what I see in some recent photos of her.
I agree and she had delicate facial features. She looked like a little porcelain doll.
Laura was not a pretty little girl but she grew up pretty
Mary was very moody. Very kind one minute then hateful as hell the next.
Thank you for the Adventures.
I was an Abused little girl and I would day dream of being there in Walnut Grove with you all.
I’m so sorry that you were abused
Your comment is making me cry here. I just started looking stuff up about this show because my mom said that she always dreamed of living there too. She went through a lot of abuse in her childhood. I'm so sorry you had to go through that.

I didnt like how they cut off Michael Landon's son while he was still speaking. That was very rude
Exactly what I was thinking.
Kathie Lee and Hoda's show is always in such a rush...

So do I, I wish someone would come up with a similarly wholesome, genuine show for the entire family, but this kind of show is long gone, sadly 😥
Little House will always have a special place in my heart. I remember reading the books and watching the show with my grandmother.
I used to watch the show with my grandma too. I stumbled on Season 5 airing on UpTV. Watching it now. Good wholesome and funny show.

+gunnysgirl Girl, every female under 80 was crying every week because of this show. We men couldn't take no mo!
+revin togo :LMAO, this is so true!!! I think I was crying throughout the entire 9 seasons...

Yeah, it was nice to hear a whole sentence from her. Too bad her twin sister wasn't there. Together they could've owned the interview. lol

i love this comment so much because same ❤️
Little House On The Prairie,we will never see good shows like this again.
Matthew Laborteaux has aged well. He's pretty handsome.
He overcame multiple adversities!
You know how good of an actor you're when people dislike the actors because the characters. Nelly and Mrs Olsen are both superrrrr nice people IRL.
This onscreen family gave me a sense of family and strength that I longed for from my own.

Well said :)
quite touching. I can relate
he touched us all he was a remarcable man and a sweet man a true father figure.

Always thought she was very pretty. Must have had some work done.
I was going to say something very similar, when I looked down and saw what your wrote. I completely agree.
Stephanie Blake did you see her next to her childhood pic? Looks almost exactly the same.
The hosts are so rude. They are constantly cutting of the guests. Not enough time to answer a question. One of the worst interviews ever.

Marty Howe Ironically, it was mocked and laughed at when it first aired in the 1970's. I actually think because of the state of the world today that it would be welcomed more now.
Amy Birenbaum Unfortunately, I don't think it would have even made it on the air these days. It doesn't go along with the "agenda".

That's usually how it works. The heavies on screen are the nicest in real life. Lotte Lenya played the horrible Rosa Klebb in the Bond film From Russia With Love, but in real life she was just a wonderful person. Similarly with Maggie Hamilton, the wicked witch/Miss Gulch in The Wizard Of Oz.😢
this is one of my favourite shows ever I started to watch it when I was like 11 and it has taught me lots about life and how even when it gets hard when you have family around you can make it through this show is very special to me and im sure to others as well
this was such a great part of my growing up...I would love them to do some kind of Little House Reunion
Beautiful. How can anyone not like this.
Where is Mrs Oleson!??!?!??? She's still ALIVE! Its too bad she wasn't able to make it and Willie. She was my favorite!!
She is 89. Probably a bit too much on her these days to be flying around for these interviews.
She is into a sect I heard.
giocurve Yeah, and Grace the youngest daughter?
TheTitaniumsyfy any update or more info about that?
@Sicilian Gecko wow really
I have just begun watching this show and I adore it ! Every morning from 10:00 till 1pm ! True entertainment channel ! I love it , no one makes shows like this anymore, it's lovely I could watch it all the time 💜

I read Alison's book in 2 days. On the the 3rd day, I took her tour and met her. Her book is excellent and Alison is awesome!
The best series ever in the worl little house on the prairie ,thankyou
I am from Wi and i seen Nellie she was u fun women and very sweet.. good to all who loved her on little house. i seen her in 2012
the rude interviewers need to shut there mouth for a second
Yes!!
Destiny Banegas
Nice
+JasonfromMinnesota So true! They talk over each other and then it becomes a mass of voices that you cant decipher who is saying what. So annoying! Let them speak in turn, its basic manners.
+JasonfromMinnesota They believe that folks don't care about the guests and only about them. They could not be more deluded.
Oh my my my!!! Little House on the Prairie was my most favorite childhood TV show!!! I'm an avid fan!!! Love love love!!! 🤗❤
I'm 14 and this is still one of my favourite shows, just from my parents and I watching it after dinner, every night, my whole life
thanks for the upload. 49 and still watch this great show
My god I love Alison!!So underrated as an actress. She did her job and did it well!!Love to you girl!!
This show is wonderful. It definitely taught me as I grew up with it - and it still holds up today.
Times were simpler and family meant everything. What happened to the world in 2016?
It's the world wide Marxism and Satanism which have ruined people. Love, trust and family are ridiculed the same time as self-indulgence and narcissism are put on the pedestal. The world today is totally infantile and regressive.
+Jaime Lannister How did they make it sound like that? They mean people said nice things to each other. Family had communication with each other. You could strike up a conversation with a stranger in a store standing in line. People cared. Now look at us Americans. we don't get our way.... we blow Shit up. to each other in cities and in other countries.
No even the show they had major problems and u saw not everyone was kind and heartwarming
I can tell you since I'm from the future...
Well, speaking from the future, you're in for some surprises in 2020....lol
When l fist watched Little House On The Prairie was in the beginning of 80’s 3 years after l immigranted from Hong Kong to Canada . I felt in love with it and it also helped me learning my English language!
Melissa Sue Anderson is stunning. Those eyes! She looks 20 years younger than her age.
Beautiful show with beautiful people, currently watching re-runs in the UK, It's so nice to see you all grown up while Karen still looking amazing, love you all guys and thanks for the most wonderful TV show. X
I'm now in my 40S and I still don't miss an episode of Little House after work. July 2020 and this show takes me away from all that's going on in the world 💯👍🌈🙏
One of my favorite all time tv shows. I never tire of them even now. So much passion and heart written in and acted upon. Very convincing.
Was such a great show.. Shame Michael Landon wasn't there. Was such a good actor\father
Yah too bad he died... sigh...
Always be in our hearts, Michael Landon :(
Yup :(
Rest in Peace Mr. Landon sir. One of the best TV Stars, ever.
He is with God now :):
I'm French, i love to watch this show again, again and again. I'm never tired of it ! I love the actors and it's so sad Victor French and Michael Landon passed away twenty years ago ...
A great thanks to the "Little House on the prairie" actors and everybody worked in the show ! :)
It was one of my most favorate shows growing up.
Beautiful life experiences put into a beautiful TV show that unites and reunites people and shows the love and care everyone has for each other ❤️
Of the 4 'girls' (Laura, Mary, Carrie, Nellie), Melissa Sue Anderson (Mary) looks like she has aged the most gracefully.
That's because MSA was just an amazingly beautiful child & young woman. A great bone structure usually promises you will look great all of your life, if you take care of yourself.
+Brett_T7276 7276 lol
+TheBob1901 To my thinking the Mary & Nellie actresses seem awfully stuck on themselves.
+Brett_T7276 7276 lol good point
nose job and facelift very obvious, forehead and chin very different, but is the hottest one
Wow lovely to see them all again:)) thank you very much
Karen Grassle looks amazing, as does Melissa Sue Anderson. And Matthew looks just the same, still a good looking man.
Yeah, Matthew looks good, and Karen Grassle is beautiful as always.
good memories
I just loved this show! I watched it from day 1 and became a fan right away. We try to catch whenever we can. They all look amazing!
I am glad to see how well these child stars turned out. Thank you Little House for the hours of good tv.
I watching the little house today on tv, Melissa Sue Anderson was and still is so beautiful
Emilia Leidich she was always my favorite too.🌹
Everyone looks fabulous! We watched the movie all the time. Thanks for the memories.
One of the greatest shows ever
omg i just loved this programme i was 7years old when i first saw this wonderful programme you all bring back beautiful memories loved yous all god bless you all
For me, "Little House in the Prairie" reminds me of a time when families were happy, stable, safe and men faithful, caring and loving husbands and fathers as they should all be, seldom were and are even less and less that way in the world we live .... hence, the big mess in which we live .... and no wonder more and more women no longer want to have anything to do with their unreliable male counterparts...
my favorite favorite childhood shows
It was nice to see all of them together. Melissa Anderson is still very beautiful.
ive been watching little house since i was a first grader in elementary school, now I'm beginning my freshmen year in high school. I watch it over and over again. Its like they have shaped who i am. love the show.
Tears to my eyes... :( :( Memories... God Bless
Now In Finland this serie is coming again on Tv. Must say it brings tears still, like then when I was a kid. And I am soon 51 male...

Oh yes!!!
I loved this show back then, even getting home late off the bus living on the farm, we my siblings and I we got home late and still did our chores on the farm. I'm from Minnesota
This was my favorite childhood show then and now!!! #ILUVmichaelLandon ❤
The first thing that comes in mind is 'Nostalgia' then 'Melancholy'.
Who wouldn't want to go back to his childhood.
damn, Melissa sue Anderson sure got more beautiful!
I agree. Talk about being a cougar. She's so sexy.
I could cry how much joy this show brought me as a child through adulthood 😢❤
Little House on the Prairie has been in reruns for years on TBS, TV Land, The Hallmark Channel and of course, INSP
WOW, 40 years, it's hard to believe
i still love watching Little House On the Prairie. no matter how many times i've watched it. :)
The best TV series on earth......God bless all the casts
Yes they were part of the best show ever.
