I see this stuff and I wish Michael Landon could still be around to see how much people loved this show and the work he did on the show! It's so very special. ❤
It's cool to see the facades and all, but it'd be super awesome if they built an actual copy if the Ingalls' "little house" where people could visit and walk into and maybe even rent it out at night. Also Oleson's Mercantile would make a great place for the visitors to walk into and buy souvenirs and refreshments.
"Little House on the Prairie " all seasons and the movies are now on Peacock channel. I grew up watching Little House and loved it. The values and respect the show teaches are priceless. It's like I feel blessed to be able to watch the entire show from beginning to end
I watched all of them replays like 2 or 3 years ago on Vision tv, now they took it away! but The Waltons is still on Vision tv, now it's at 2pm instead of 5pm, if i want to watch little house on the prairie again, i will have to order another channel!
Wow, such a beautiful plain of fields. Just seeing the scenery feels surreal. This show will always be gold and special in my heart. Came home from school watching this show everyday. I am so lucky and blessed to have such a show growing up.
This show is what got me when I was very young to just love The outdoors. Love the country, love the mountains. I just adore it now. I would rather be out on land like this than be on any beach in the world.
Awesome tour thank you for sharing. It brought back memories from my childhood when I watched the show and I still watch it on dvd and it never gets old ❤️❤️❤️
I was on that bus that day ! Friday, March 22nd. 2024, by noon. I still remember the guide's voice. Such a nice and funny guy he was ! Great unforgettable experience !!! 🥰🤩💖
When I was 7 years old, my siblings and friends and I always watched this film every Sunday afternoon, always happy when the time came to watch Little House on the Prairie... I really love this film even now at the age of 54 and I hope I can visit Go to the filming location to experience the atmosphere firsthand
Thank you for sharing. I have seen different videos from people who filmed their experience, but watching this one, it made me feel like I was actually there. I would've loved to been able to go there, but I did get to go to Kentucky and meet some of the cast. I think my highlight was getting to eat breakfast with Almonzo.
This was fabulous! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful video, and experience of the bus tour in Simi Valley, where Little House on the prairie was filmed. Thanks to you sharing your video, I was able to do a virtual tour, and I am grateful for that! It was fabulous not only to see all of the facades, but the beautiful terrain as well, and enjoyed listening to the tour guide. I greatly appreciate it since I was unable to do this, while going through medical treatment. I appreciate being able to see it through your video! Thank you!
John Schneider and Tom Wopat said that when they came back to the dukes series when they temporary left! They took the general out for a spin! They accidentally slammed into the blind school ! Great video 👍 ⚡️space ace Ron ⚡️
Thank you so much for sharing this video. I absolutely love it. I watch little House on the Prairie still every day on the Peacock app the friendly app and the Roku channel and UA-cam I’m 51 years old and I still love this show.‼️‼️‼️❤️🔥🥰🥰🥰
Fantastic seeing this, and so cool too they made little sets so that visitors could see where the original buildings were all at. Kinda odd though, as it appears that tour bus had everyone on a pretty tight leash. Not even allowed to get off the bus in town, and at the Little House site, weren't allowed to roam around and investigate the settings freely. Looked like there were other people on their own with their own vehicles though walking around.
@littlebonnethead thank you so much for this video. I was one of the very last people to get on from Standby on Sunday evening. I cried so hard. Although I took over 100 pics, I was definitely in an emotional daze. It's so nice to "ride through again".
That's what is great about living in LA. You have everything mountains, the city, the beach, the desert not far. I have lived in three states since leaving and that was the greatest place I lived.
If only they had kept some of the sets up; This would've been SUCH a tourist draw! In Michigan there is a place called "Greenfield Village" which is made up of old historic structures and as a child, when I visited it, I'd imagine I was in Walnut Grove!
Idk if I would pay to see land of where history once stood. They should build replica houses & have tours in selected houses. Have the LOTP theme music playing on the tour bus. Gots to make it more authentic 😏
I work in the film business and it always amazes me when production companies don’t think ahead when it comes to making more money. They should’ve left everything up and if if they had legal issues, in the end the Land owners could’ve purchased the sets and kept them up because it was such a good long running show. They would’ve been able to use it as a tourist spot.
I was waiting to see the front side of the one facade in town....only saw the back. What was that? Doc Baker's? Or maybe the post office, I don't think I heard him mention that either. Cool to see!
Excellent tour guide, beautiful scenery, and it’s a shame the road couldn’t have been improved for this special event. How does the video stay so steady with the shuttle bouncing all over the place on the shitty road? Aren’t iPhones great?
Thanks for posting this GEM....❤❤❤
This was my sister's favorite show. Since she is gone now, i bought the series to watch. Brings back so many memories!!

I was trying to figure out where we're this filmed? Was it really in some woods or the country?

So nice to see where it all happened. I still watch the series here on youtube. My absolute favorite childhood series.❤

When I was a teenager use to come up here when they were Filming in 1970's, lived in Simi Valley and just take Tapo Cyn. Rd. North.
Love the show, little house on the praire. I saw it when I was little in my country 🇵🇪 Peru

There's so much history at Big Sky.
It should definitely be rebuilt and turn it into an amazing place to relive the time it was filmed when it was watched on Television.

I so love my memories!! Little House and the books. ❤😢
I grew up watching this show in the late '70s ,surreal to see the fields just wish the real structures were still up
Thank you so much for sharing this video. I absolutely love it. I watch little House on the Prairie still every day on the Peacock app the friendly app and the Roku channel and UA-cam I’m 51 years old and I still love this show.‼️‼️‼️❤️🔥🥰🥰🥰
Hugs and kisses from a Prarie fan from Portugal ❤😊
I've been binge watching Little House on the Prarie and I love this video!! So awesome ❤

I agree 😊
When Laura screamed out!.."You got a Face like a Can of Worms!"...lol
Loved it 😂
Hallowed ground!
Greatest television show ever!
Makes you want to watch little house reruns.
Why don't you?
I still do!

We were on standby Sunday as well! I also cried when we got on! Such an absolute dream come true,

Great show 🇬🇧
25:42 oh my god, that's insane what Im feeling with this perfect show. That angle, it s like being back in the show. 25:44
Thanks for sharing. They forgot to make the ice house where Nancy locked the other girl inside.
If only they had kept some of the sets up; This would've been SUCH a tourist draw!

How lucky you are.... I'd love to be there.... 😢
One structure they forgot about at the Ingalls home stead was the out house.and the shack that grandpa stayed in when he came to visit.
Yeah you right.
@@marleneportuguez6733 I mean Kerry didn't have that many major parts in the show except needing to run to the outhouse. LOL
@@DaveD2488 ooh OK yeah
Little House actually filmed on-location predominantly?
Makes sense, the heart of any drama is in the location.
Idk if I would pay to see land of where history once stood. They should build replica houses & have tours in selected houses. Have the LOTP theme music playing on the tour bus. Gots to make it more authentic 😏
Kinda cool. I remember the last episode where they each blew up the buildings on set.
Loved this! ❤
I can't believe how far apart everything is from one place to another
Pretty cool it's such a secret place and not generally accessible. The facades look a bit naive but I couldn't do it better😂
I am surprised about how spread out the set is .
We were too, but it also felt just like a real town rather than just a film set. It felt very real.
I work in the film business and it always amazes me when production companies don’t think ahead when it comes to making more money. 6:09 Before the tour guide even said it, I knew this had nothing to do with the set. That s how much I ve watched the show. 😅
Ive been in laura and almanzos actual house in kansas and in the school and post ofice. And wore lauras actul bonnet
Man! You are lucky! I'm jealous!❤
Greetings from Germany..
What happened to the original buildings? They should rebuild them exactly the way they were to tour inside. Would be a great experience!
I agree !! I know that will be great ..for the visitor, that will be soo much real
THEY WERE TORN DOWN I BELIEVE
@@ekop1778 they had 10 year lease of the land. why everything had to go.
@@robertloper5361 i see
No in the very Last episode Michael Landing had it blown up as part of the last episode bc he didn't want people 2 re use his set

Wow. Those are some amazing fake prairie houses ;-)

The LIttle House the praire Tor BIG sky Ranch movie Love Best my favorite one fan BIG 💖💖💖💖💖🎶🌻

The tour guide sound's like he is a witness protection program 🤣
Very cool
These are re built, bc in last episode Michael landon Had stuff Blown up ,bc he didn't want people 2 reUse it, he Blew it up
Excellent tour guide, beautiful scenery, and it’s a shame the road couldn’t have been improved for this special event. How does the video stay so steady with the shuttle bouncing all over the place on the shitty road? Aren’t iPhones great?
You can look at this and tell it is just prop boards these would have never been used they built the front of buildings to look real
Wonder when they added the facades. that's awesome so people can see exactly where the buildings once stood.
They put them up in March for the 50th anniversary celebrations.
Inesquecível ❤
Would love to see this
¿Dónde queda esto?
Just to let you know, it was not actually a mud pond more like a manure bond
Haha yes! They talked about that!
It was filmed somewhere else but not in Montana
How did they keep tourists from roaming around the sets during all those years of production?
Love it
Michael Landon torn down the whole filming set after the show ended
En qué estado será?
Walnut grove😂
State would be Minnesota.😊
My memory 😢❤
The barn is in the wrong spot, it was in front of the house not beside it
Why are the original buildings gone?
really want to see the location live, but we almost certainly won't be able to get there from Hungary 😔

How can I take that tour?
I want to go there.
Is this in Kansas? California?
Simi Valley California :)
Why the cardboard cut outs? What happened to the real buildings? Were they always fake?
We’re is the sod house?
Where is this?
Do you know the location is on this house on the prairie wear you can take a bus on trip
