It's very possible, even likely that he did die, but can't forget Grandpappy sleeping in his chair, can literally just say "didn't happen, get back up son!" 😂
Nah, the developers revealed the original plans for a sequel, where originally he was meant to discover that he was a new breed of Space Marine that developed the Blank gene. That Titus was meant to be charged and arrested after Leandros handed him to the Inquisition, that he would escape to clean his name and then found a new chapter of this new breed of Marines with the Blank Gene.
@@sirbruno95 trying to map this out in my head, it really becomes hard to fit in all those plot points, as "breaking out" is likely gonna be seen as confirmation of guilt. @@sirbruno95 oh, I got that much, just my own interpretation of them made it hard to fit in, cause it certainly is interesting and I could see some of it being used in a possible 3rd game, but who knows really 😁 The blank Gene could be a future plot point, as we have seen Titus survive more than the regular Ultramarine has, so an explanation is in order at some point. @@RealYankee It's possible, if he was assumed to be a disgrace. Even in our world, this is a thing. Don't see too many people using what-was quite a popular Austro-hungarian/Prussian/German name since about 85 years ago.

Not only that, have they not watched this very video? lol This video clearly shows Titus survived, witnessed by several people. He only “died” as a coverup by the Inquisition to hide the fact that he came into contact with the Warp and survived.
The original Storyboard for SM2 would be Titus finding out that he is an unique strain of Blank, while not immune to the warp, he is highly resistant to it over any other non-blank individual, thus still allowing him to still undergo the Space Marine procedure since it’s partially warp-based

Space marines can live a very very long time. And seeing Titus has gone from being first born to taking the primaris upgrade. Who knows how much longer he can live if war doesn’t kill him. After all, he’s got 4 dots on his head and if memory serves me right, each one represents a century worth of service.
