A tip for the fire starters, you can move and jump as Oatchi while holding down the A button to have the fire starter Pikmin in your hand which could have helped at 6:13 using this tactic you can even move fire starters across water (I found this out because I thought the mud in Olimar's Shipwreck tale was water in Blossoming Arcadia)
To answer the question of the day, I think that my salt levels so far have been between like... 6 to 13 on a 1-10 scale. I'm at level 5 right now and that's where I had to stop, I was getting too heated. But I guess for tips, with this digging challenge, the best thing to remember is what enemies actually hurt you and what don't. if you can avoid killing smth, like the withering blowhog, do so, it'll save you time.
I didn't get salty, but I think I took more attempts on my first time through floor 2. Difficulty varies. There are some harder than floor 2. There are some easier. I don't think any of them are outside of your capabilities to win, but I wouldn't recommend trying to platinum them without all the game's upgrades.
I don't get salty very often when I play games, cause it's usually my fault for failing, and I can accept that. But i did choose to look up a walkthrough for the final floor, because I could not for the life of me figure out how to do it.

A LOT of these levels, I was more calculated and trying to Platinum all of them in a first try. Up until the 5th. Considering the salt warning, I'm sure you know exactly why. Then I just gunned it to the last floor since I just knew what was there. lol As infuriating as they were, the rewards were well worth it. A lot of the strategy involves having Oatchi manage the larger stuff across bodies of water to avoid having to focus so many pikmin on them.

This doesn’t work out exactly, the Pikmin will drop out of your hand when you jump

Between a 4 and 7 level salt. More was just panic stressing than being angry. That was more near the end i was like 'wtf i suck'
Yeah honestly story 2 really is much harder than I’d expect being one of the first ones, that took quite a bit for me to get through
