I forgot about the shutter!!!! Lolol i havent used mines in like two years and am using it now and forgot about the shutter switch! Thought it didn't work and forgot about it, wow thanks a bunch!!
Thank god cause i was about to take it to my camera repair guy! He's good, he fixed a pentax camera i had and did a fantastic job . I had given up . I watch you video but i knew it was just a review video and not how to fix the black screen , which i thought was the problem but them i heard you say" shutter switch button" and boom it hit me!! Lol
Nice video. I just bought a model 600 off eBay for $110. Came with the battery, the charger, and a 32 GB SD card already in the slot. Definitely a bargain.
@@MrBaldChronicles. hello Mr bald. The part of the plug that goes into the camara won't stay put. It slips out and now won't charge. By any chance would you know about this problem or should I just purchase a new one because I assume repairing it would cost just as much. Please help
@@MrBaldChronicles. I'll try that. It's good to know at least that if I purchase another one that I most likely won't have the same problem. I appreciate greatly your fast reply. Thank you and take care.
Yah but not sure why it would slip out unless the connectors on the inside of the camera are loose. With a rough surface on the tip of the plug, I’d think that would hold. Let me know what works. Cheers
I just bought this R800 then found R700 , the main difference is that R700 can record in both AVCHD and MP4, but the R800 it just records on MP4. According to the manual AVCHD have crisp videos. both cameras are identical
@@Bredinskee That's odd. My HF R700 has both Mic and Headphone/AV ports. Plus the Mic Input Port also accepts "Line Level Audio" signal input. Obviously, you don't own the R700 there or else you'd know this.
No, but the camera has about 3 to 4 lux sensitivity to light for low lit scenes. The resulting video isn't that good, unfortunately, as it tend to be grainy. I'd suggest additional external artificial lighting.

Well, I’m guessing you can only shoot as long as the battery or memory card lasts. You can only film with the battery, no ac cord or anything. If you find a way please share. Cheers

That’s a good question, not sure about that one. This isn’t a good fisheye camera. Even if you add the adapter the clarity is cut big time. It’s a great sharp camera though. Let us know if you figure it out.

That’s a first for me. Try light grit sandpaper on the tip of the plug, the metal part to rough up the sides. Maybe that will help it stick inside
