This is a random question but when both the battery is in the camera and the power cord, does the camera use the batter power until it dies and then automatically switches over to the powered cord? I have this camera and wonder about that to begin using to dj stream. Thanks if you know and thanks for reading regardless :)
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! omg i've had my new camera since october 2017 and I've been so afraid to unbox it! I've carried it in 2 of my rv's since! I decided that this was the year I was going to begin and....I watched another video and within 10 seconds I was shaking and crying! so then I was guided to you! the guy prior to you was taking all this technical stuff and I was so overwhelmed! As I began watching your video i easily could locate the "shutter" lever on the left side of the shutter. I easily found all the "plug-in" stuff and I actually had to put the slider thing on the camera before I could put it on the tri pod but you explaind how that thing flipped off and voila! peasy peasy lemon squeezy! excited now! thank you! need a nap to calm my spirit now! whew! stressed out!
Hi, if you check out a few of the videos of our church's live stream (in this same channel) hopefully you'll get a decent idea on how the cameras perform. We've had a few challenges with white balancing and a little grainyness at times, but we continue to work on it. Our lighting isn't set specifically for video but we do have quite a few lights on trusses.
Hello, want to ask if the camera was about 12 metres or more away when we zoom in the Priest Face, would we still see his face clearly? Or is it like 480p when you are far? What is the limit distance so we can still see the image clear? We would like to set the camera more to the back to avoid children tripping or bumping into the camera, So I wonder how sharp the image would be. So far I think this is the more affordable alternative camcorder for our Church Service. Please help. Thank you in advance.
Hi All things church, thanks for the video, quick questions, 1. Does the R800 give you clear HDMI out? 2. When the HDMI cable is connected does it allow you to see the footage in the flip out screen? 3. Does it Autofocus on its own while streaming?
Hi, this live stream was shot mainly with Canon HF R800s. There is one Canon XA20 being used for close ups. Every other shot that you see will be the HF R800s. Hope this helps: ua-cam.com/video/GEIc4cmY5Js/v-deo.html
Hi, we're shooting from about 40 feet out. For inexpensive cameras, we've been really happy with them. In time we'll upgrade to get a sharper image, but for the time they're working well for us!
@@AustinBluffsChurch Thank you for sharing this. What would you upgrade to from this? Looking for a solution that can stream for a long time without overheating.
Something you did not go into is if you're getting a clean HDMI image. As far as I know, to get clean HDMI output, you have to put it into manual mode, meaning you lose any auto-focus function and honestly, all auto functions. If that's the case, this camcorder is basically useless for live streaming purposes.
Thanks. I just came home from my 1st meeting with church staff concerning streaming the service. We're using the same camera. Thanks again
Where were you recording to, if not sd card?

Hi dear.
I wanna ask you how adjust voice from micsar not from camera to my churches ?? How can i do like this camera
I need to record a conf for about 8 hrs of video time. That of course is continuous. Will this camera record 8!hrs worth of continuous video?
Mine maxes out at 174 minutes with a 64GB memory card ...
You would have to plug it into a wall outlet as well.

They grainy look is because a poor lightning. That is called noise.

Hi, we've been really happy with them. In time we'll upgrade, but for the price they're a great option!
