3 years with my PR 5000 and couldn’t be happier going with Rep. Added the weight stack on the back for the lat low row and been very happy with that decision
Received my Bells of Steel Manticore rack 3 weeks ago, went with BOS over Rep because it's true 3x3 with 1" holes, they had a better height option for my basement, also price was better as BOS has a Veterans discount, rack is also coated on inside, fit and finish is nice. They just need to improve on packaging, no damage oh.
I honestly think BoS and rep are identical - but all depends on where the person reviewing is living. I'm down the street from BOS HQ, so it's amazing. REP? Would cost $1000 shipping to get me a rack from them. Manticore is slick - but I think i'm going to go Hydra
Cant go wrong with rep or rogue racks. I had my rogue monster lite half rack for 4 years no issues as well. There are tons of attachments for 5/8 inch holes 3x3. mutant metals/prx/straydog/bridget built also make 5/8s attachments I converted my half rack into a lat pull down machine and now i'm waiting for my bullet proof vts to arrive so i can also make it into a smith machine. I'll update to 3x3 1 inch rep full rack one day when I move out to a bigger garage. I still park 2 cars in my 2 car garage with my entire gym inside.
Got a Titan T3 off marketplace back when 2x3 was better supported, REP still had their PR-3000. It would be cool to upgrade to a 3x3 but like you said on how brands won’t affect your gains my 2x3 is still gonna handle everything I can throw at it.
Great gym setup. I love your gym. Way to go. My brother and Father have the REP PR5000 Rack it is a good choice for sure and I agree with you for the most part about there is no difference with having a 3x3 rack with 1" holes. However, Fringe Fitness, Griffin Fitness and many other small companies have great 3x3 1" hole racks too, but I have used both a Titan Series Rack and BOS Rack the was Frankensteined with Rogue and REP and many small companies attachments and they worked wonderfully. True, get what you can afford, for sure, but I wouldn't discount Titan or BOS completely they have some pretty good stuff that works well. That being said, I do agree that a person buying a gym can not go wrong with getting a PR5000 REP Power Rack. Thank you again for sharing.
Bro I just ordered mine. I’m going to call customer service tomorrow. I basically built a 1/2 rack out of it but now wonder if the 16” depth is too narrow or if I should go 30”. I’m only planning on working outside the rack. Love all your content btw. Would love to see a workout session with the rack!
I got a titan X3 flat foot rack because it was on sale and it fit in my basement. It’s built like a tank. If I had more money and space I’d upgrade to a rep rack tho. 3X3 11 gauge is basically indestructible
What are the roller j cups above your Irwin fitness ones? Did you happen to figure out a way for the Irwin fitness ones to line up with a rep rack to use the pin option in the back for added stability?
Those Titan Fitness roller J's are great affordable options. I have 2 pair with the additional custom colored plastic fronts that you see. They are from "Apperture Engineering" extra $30 or so...

What depth is this rack Sir?
What detent pin are you using on the rogue mono lift?

Planning to build a half rack set up with this. Worth it?
Does the powder coat finish chip? Just want to understand if I should expect powder coat residue on the gym floor.
have never had anything /chips/scratches on my Rep PR5000. Excellent powder coating - quite thick (not thin and prone to chipping)
