love the work..the tree trunk you put in about the 5 minute mark. Shouldnt the shdow be more at 12 :00 position, line up with the other tree shadows?..my eye catches it and it doesnt look right..
Actually, none of them are at the twelve o’clock position. (More so, 10 o’clock) The slope and flat, low spots would result in variations. Look at the angle of the shadows on the green. Definitely different because the elevation of the offscreen trees on the right are higher than the green. The trees in the distance are going up a different slope at a slight angle to our perspective as well. Look at the shadows across the top right sand trap, see how they bend due to the contour of the bottom as it curves to the lip of the trap, and straighten once they exit the sand?

Why only a discussion on application technique but no discussion of color, color choices, and color? Seems a glaringly obvious omission as there are so many greens to choose from and those choices, specific color names and how to mix subtle variations is so critical in a successful painting yet you ignore that completely.. unless you discuss color, specific color choices, and color mixing in other videos, then I stand corrected.
Just place the colour you wish in the place you want it. Lol
very basic painting, ugly water reflection :)
