Excellent advice Diane, we all suffer at times of overwhelming pressures in all aspects of life. I find the best thing, is to focus on one little bit get out there and do it. Often it snowballs and before I know it, I've missed lunch powering on and completed many tasks, then I feel really proud of myself and smug. 😉 Like you, I cram that much in the borders, then diligently make notes of what was planted when and where. But I'm always surprised next season at what turns up.😆 Brilliant as always, Thank you for sharing.🐞🌻🌱
Hi Jane. We are so similar in our approach to gardening. I love it when I get lots done in one day because, you're right, you never know when you'll get back out there. Hope you're having a good weekend. 😊
Thank you so much for the shout out! 🌸I’m delighted! We can learn so much from each other. I’ve started clearing out tired plants over here, there is always much to do this time of year. I try to tackle one space at a time. Today, I ripped out my tomato jungle. As you said, just getting out there in the garden is very motivating. I love my Joe Pye weed too, it’s very beautiful and tough. I love that you are always planing ahead with new plants and propagations. Have a wonderful weekend! 🌿🌸😀💕
Hi there. You're very welcome. One of my viewers has visited your channel already and is very impressed with your Elephant's Ear plant. I love your Joe Pye Weed too. Hope you're having a lovely weekend. Very windy here but nice and sunny and dry. Diane x
Hi Diane, I too have been feeling overwhelmed with what to do first in my garden. We've had a few days of torrential rain and strong winds which meant no gardening and you know what it's like, things start to romp away. I've been out all morning pulling up a lot of the annuals and now that I've got some empty pots, I'm thinking about planting some Daffodil bulbs. Your yellow Helenium does look so nice against the dark foliage of the shrub. In fact that whole bed looks lovely. x
Thank you Wendy. I've been out buying bulbs today and thought I might do a little video on them next week. Hope you're having a lovely weekend and getting lots of jobs done. Diane x
Hi Diane!! I did enjoy this video. It never fails, this time of year I am overwhelmed though your video is very encouraging. I'm looking forward to being out in the garden this weekend and will start with the first thing 😅
Hi Susie. I do hope you get some of my viewers subscribing to your channel. It's very exciting watching your count go up. You are so close to the thousand! Hope you're having a lovely weekend. Diane x
Wow you got a lot done, its looking lush still, i poped over to your USA friend, and that elephant plant , we can only grow as a house plant, you might see one in a house plant store, it would be under a latin name, if you show them a photo, it would help, Thanks for vlog
Hi Mairead. Yes, I love seeing how she grows those plants around her garden the way we would grow Heucheras. It's also very interesting to see how she overwinters her Geraniums and then how she wakes them out of dormancy in the spring. Hope you're having a lovely weekend. Diane x
