Yes, you can tell that your soil is not frozen. That shovel went in like a knife through butter. I can say with certainty your soil is healthy due to your loving and caring garden skills over the years.

The hydrangea does look like it’s always been there! I’ve noticed in my own garden that hydrangeas have small root balls. Now you can enjoy the whole right side border from the conservatory! Great choice, always good to reevaluate our garden spaces! 🌸🌸🌸😀🌸🌸🌸
