Thank you for this review! So many other reviewers just go on and on and on and even then get things wrong. You cut straight to what matters and give just enough information to understand how the game works without spoiling the gameplay. I also love your passion and enthusiasm! 🤩
Recently got this for my son. Just scored 37 in a two player game, which seemed insane to us. I had a synergistic thing going that allowed me to get a ton of gifts. Gifts are OP but normally there’s not a way to get a huge amount.
Thank you for a great review. I love Fallout in video game format having played 3, New Vegas, 4 and Shelter on my tablet. I bought the Fallout board game and was very underwhelmed. It takes FOREVER, there is no logic in how one player starts a quest but another on the other side of the board finishes it and it really missed the mark for me. I got it the same time I got Mansions of Madness 2nd Edition and feel an app such as in that game would have done so much more to improve on Fallout. Based on my experience there I was hesitant to try out shelter but based on your review I may give it a shot.
I think we had similar experiences with the Fallout: The Board Game (not Fallout Shelter: The Board Game). That's maybe why I responded so positively to Fallout Shelter in board game form. It scratched that itch that I wanted Fallout: The Board Game to do...
And I totally agree about MoM 2nd edition being stronger than the first because of the app. It facilitates the theme and fun packed into the game itself!
