I would've loved to see a duel between Voldemort and Snape with the Elder Wand. If I remember correctly, in the 6th book Snape conjured of a fire wheel when escaping Hogwarts. He was very knowledgeable about both magic and Voldemort. However, I believe he would've still lost the duel if he was alone. His greatest chance of defeating Voldemort would've been in bringing allies.
Snape is a true legend, loved his character firm and fair, yet unbelievably loyal to Lily, he had an absolute shit life and kept his composure until death. Snape's a silent hero and one of the best types too, he died with only Harry knowing the truth.

That's true in a way. I believe AD trust in Snape is different then the others. At least on some level.
