I’ve beaten every super boss in kingdom hearts and honestly, yozora and lingering will are the two hardest. Young xehanort from bbs was a nightmare especially on terra.
Lingering will is a funny story because one of the last things I did beforehand to complete JJ was the training with Hercules so I had no combo pluses on, and I forgot to turn them on before the boss fight so I went in using the 3 hit combo tactic without doing it on purpose and I thought the boss was super easy. Which makes no sense if you think about it I don’t know what clicked for me, maybe the pressure of beating was lifted so I started to go for yolo plays to look for sneaky openings on him 🤣
Surprisingly I Beat Lingering Will First time only due to the fact that I had to watch my Best friend attempt to beat him no damage for about 3 weeks, so when it was finally my turn I had memorized all his moves and exactly how my friend had dealt with them to not take damage. While i love each of these secret bosses, had alotta fun learning their moves and finally defeating them; the wordt one was the Mysterious Figure from BBS. Not that he was hardest boss, that title belongs to Yozora. MF was just the cheapest boss.
Ranking the bosses for my difficulty: 1. Lingering Will - never made it past like one health bar tops, I clearly did not master KH2 combat 2. Yozora - he EARNED his place as the final boss of the Dark Seeker Saga 3. Young Xehanort (BBS) - completely merciless and you have to use cheats 4. Sephiroth (KH1) - If this was your first super boss, he’s one hell of an introduction 5. Xemnas (KHFM) - a wild Sith Lord appeared and man was he brutal. 6. No Heart (BBSFM) - Man this guy was insane. 7. Vanitas Remnant 8. Sephiroth (KH2) 9. Ice Titan 10. Phantom

I would say that Linguering Will is First Spot then the rest is the same I guess...
I’ve beat all superbosses from the 3 main games, birth by sleep and chain of memories on Critical/Proud mode and I can confirm that by far the hardest boss is the mysterious figure from birth by sleep. Took me literally 10 hours and hundreds of attempts to finally beat him with terra. However soon after I did do it with Ventus and aqua which both took me less than 5 tries. Dunno if this was due to the sheer amount of times I’d attempted it and I’d memorised all his patterns or if it was just simply because they’re not unbelievably slow like terra
Just a note: The bosses leading up to Sephy(to the platinum match) are really tough as well, and then there's Kurt Zisa, who I think existed in the vanilla version and with whom I had massive trouble since there's no way to cheese him
There are ways to cheese him, and ways to make him just way easier, like immediately casting Tinkerbell, not all that hard either as long as you keep healing (if you Tinkerbell when fight starts immediately, shell appear before your magic is taken).Tinkerbell continues to heal, and you get auto life, not to mentally on proud just damage storage Mushu, there's PLENTY of cheese here
Just be sure if you find a point where you think you might actually beat him, take an intentional death to use your kupo coin, because he WILL steal it if you beat him without losing your coin.
A. There were some 358/2 Days superboss missions I never completed; too hard B. Lingering Will was WAY harder than Yozora because you've got more responses/ways to survive in KH3, like Formchanges and especially Links. I beat Yozora on Proud, but I still haven't beat Lingering Will on Proud, even with strategies like Peter Pan and Fenrir.
Try them both on Critical. Critical mode in KH2FM is balanced around a level 1 run, but in KH3 Critical mode gives you not just half HP but half MP too, plus Zero EXP exists outside Critical mode so it's not specially balanced.
@@devonm042690 I'm not looking to make boss fights harder; I'm looking to make them easier. I've tried fighting Lingering Will on Critical many times, but I hardly even beat him on Standard.

I am fairly certain you are wrong about Mysterious figure being nerfed in the Final Mix version. He is identical in all ways. I believe this misconception occurred because the original trailer for Final Mix had a tweaked damage amounts while playing MF compared to the actual game and it made it look easier. But I am fairly certain nothing changed in the actual game at all
@@phxander That's surely not true because just like the original you can control how often he does doom by your load-out preparation. Bizkit did a video about it a while ago.

Been meaning to get Re:Mind to face off against not-Noctis, lol. Though if I caught hell against the Unknown im BBS (the original. No, I never beat him with any of the characters), not sure how good I'll be against Yozora.
I can't attempt Yozora because I can't beat any of the data fights which are required to unlock that secret boss. If I can't even beat the data battles I can't imagine how hard Yozora is!
No mention on how Yozora can also steal your kupo coin huh? That means you either have to use it before he steals it, or get good at dodging one of his theft moves. Cause when he steals it, expect a longer fight after you beat him since he revives from using it.
Armor of eraqus took me least try’s then villains vendetta that took me way more try’s but at the end near ending of the battle for the final attack it was close for both games like one hit kill me or kill boss and I am doing this on critical mode and I am a noob with the game
I don’t know if I’m alone in this but I found the Peter Pan clock tower secret boss in KH1 much tougher than sephiroth, that thing smacked the hell out of me!
Sephi in original ff7 is super weak as a final boss.. but ruby weapon is broken hard to beat even with cheats. KH started the sephiroth superboss trend.
Ruby weapon is very easy there is a lot of stuff that allows to beat it easily, not even mentionning that stats maxing is a possibility, and you can stack high defense and defensive buffs (4 Hero Drink, Sadness, Barrier = Over 70% damage reduction) and also Knight of the Round is a thing.
Can we talk about the Phantom from KH1. That fight I tried once and gave up. Sephiroth I managed to beat on the first try but somehow I forgot to save and I died. that Brought me back to the save point before Sephiroth. I was so mad. The other boss fight that was difficult was Omega Weapon thingy in the Gummie Ship area for KH3. Don't know if that one is a super boss but it was a pain to do.
So funny enough all them except The Unknown, don't get me wrong I thought it was gonna be another Mysterious Figure fight so I tried to get everything. Turns out I beat Unknown first try on Crit but I was sweating bullets during it. I still haven't fought Yozora yet but from what I've seen I'm gonna have a very hard time.
I don't know about necessary. I beat the Kingdom Hearts one secret boss without taking any damage. Not my first time but eventually I learned how to do it.
Yeah if you beat any of these bosses on proud/critical mode first try, you deserve a damn medal. Shii, if it took you less than 5 tries u deserve a medal
I didn't even know the Zodiac Phantom Aqua was a optional boss, I just played through 0.2 and I beat her the first time, The other 6 took me forever, still haven't beaten Yozora though lol but Aqua Wasn't hard.
Yeah, I'm having a hard time figuring that one out too, just from having read your comment. How'd you beat Platinum Match Sephiroth and The Unknown on Critical mode? Kingdom Hearts Final Mix only has difficulty levels up to Proud. I jest, of course. Just couldn't resist since you said you don't know how you did it. The quip pretty much wrote itself.
The mysterious figure in KH1 is Xemnas The mysterious figure in birth by sleep is young Xehanort Lingering Will is Terras armor fuled by will after being possessed by Xehanort And yozoras real identity will presumably be explored In future games though a popular fan theory is he is Final fantasy vs 13 Version of Noctis
The fact that Yozora can steal your moggle coin and actually uses it, was terrible surprise lol that's false sense of victory suuuuuuuuuuucks lol Mysterious Figure aka Young Xehanort is a major pain! Completely unfair and random, so annoying to beat especially with Terra 😭

I've still never beat lingering will,I've beat all the others but terra always kicks my ass
“Considerable amounts of damage”
That’s a funny way of saying “He kills you if he lays a finger on you”
I’ve beat all superbosses from the 3 main games, birth by sleep and chain of memories on Critical/Proud mode and I can confirm that by far the hardest boss is the mysterious figure from birth by sleep.
Just a note: The bosses leading up to Sephy(to the platinum match) are really tough as well, and then there's Kurt Zisa, who I think existed in the vanilla version and with whom I had massive trouble since there's no way to cheese him
There are ways to cheese him, and ways to make him just way easier, like immediately casting Tinkerbell, not all that hard either as long as you keep healing (if you Tinkerbell when fight starts immediately, shell appear before your magic is taken).Tinkerbell continues to heal, and you get auto life, not to mentally on proud just damage storage Mushu, there's PLENTY of cheese here
There was also that wizard in Neverland, I haven't tried since I was like 15, but I always ran out of magic to ever do anything I felt lol
I still haven’t got a clue how I beat yozorora like the amount of hours on that fight alone was insane
Just be sure if you find a point where you think you might actually beat him, take an intentional death to use your kupo coin, because he WILL steal it if you beat him without losing your coin.
I had to watch no damage runs online for tips XD Only beat him once on crit. I think it took me 8hrs lmao
Wow. Did not realize you had other channels.
Ngl lingering will took me a whole month to defeat him
When I landed the last hit on him
I felt the same way as the anime protagonists
A. There were some 358/2 Days superboss missions I never completed; too hard
I've tried fighting Lingering Will on Critical many times, but I hardly even beat him on Standard.
the original KH1 fight with sephiroth can be cheesed slightly using the i frames in a full Strike Raid combo
I can't understand why unknown is considered difficult, I literally managed to win it the second time
When’s the next video coming?
I’ve never seen Yozora until now
I only fought both Sephiroth and Lingering Will and it took me ages as well as a lot of mental strength.
I didn't both fighting any of the others because if i had, my brain would have turned to soup
I am fairly certain you are wrong about Mysterious figure being nerfed in the Final Mix version. He is identical in all ways. I believe this misconception occurred because the original trailer for Final Mix had a tweaked damage amounts while playing MF compared to the actual game and it made it look easier. But I am fairly certain nothing changed in the actual game at all
One thing I know for sure is they nerfed how often he does doom
@@phxander That's surely not true because just like the original you can control how often he does doom by your load-out preparation. Bizkit did a video about it a while ago.
the only nerf I know is that in FM you can now air slide out of that attack where he graves you in the air
@@robertomoreno9570 uh, that makes sense. Maybe that's what he meant by nerf then. I'll see if I can check an old save file to verify that.
Kingdom hearts bosses were hardest in kh2 as a kid. But the thing is, I’ve played every kh game on its original platform and beaten and 100 percent every single one so many times these bosses are nothing now lmao. I bought psp for bbs. I bought 3ds for 358/2 days, coded, and 3ds. Rebought the entire series on ps4. Re downloaded and played on ps5, the. Re bought and re 100 percent every single one on pc. Kh is my favorite video game series by far and I’m way to invested. Oh and I’ve 100 percent the mobile game too lmao. All on critical when available or proud when it’s not. (Original games had only proud, needed to wait for final mixes to get critical and even kh3 only released with proud till remind.) Now I’m currently doing metafy lessons with pro smash players to become worlds best sora 💯🔥 I was able to get sora to 10million gsp after a few lessons and plan on wrecking my locals this weekend 😎
What or who's version of night if fate is playing while he discusses mysterious figure? Can anyone help?
4/7 beaten first try on hardest difficulty. Haven’t found the time to play bbs yet unfortunately and I haven’t attempted yozora yet
Update 5/7 I beat Yozora
In beated the lingering will by one of the most hardest way and it was the absolut Hell!!!!!
Sephiroth in kh1, as well as kh2, is so much easier in the final mix versions of both games! Who’s with me?
The bosses that any of Ventus Terra and Aqua that they had to fight. Was Hell alone
I hope this video will be only data-battles.
And lingering will ofc
Same for me. Phantom was the second hardest boss with Sephiroth being 3rd.
@@Hidden_lvl Who do you think is the hardest?
@@TheTwizted Xemnas
The Phantom is actually easy, once you figure out you have to cast Stop on Big Ben.
@@nesoukkefka1741 this is true. But they don't tell you that. I figured that out, stop magic on clock, after 300 tries. LOL. Felt stupid after that.
@@Sheepmcirvin Don't feel dumb, pretty much nobody that played without a guide figure it out on their first attempts ^^
I was able to beat the unknown on proud the first time but that was only cus i already made the ultimata weapon and spammed cure and aero
Kh1 sephiroth beat me 36 times before I could defeat him. I've never experienced such anger from a video game
I don't know about necessary. I beat the Kingdom Hearts one secret boss without taking any damage. Not my first time but eventually I learned how to do it.
Vanitas Remnant is a hard boss fight.
Me, who just used Cyclone on him immediately at the start twice and won in about 10 seconds. (looks away)
Yeah if you beat any of these bosses on proud/critical mode first try, you deserve a damn medal. Shii, if it took you less than 5 tries u deserve a medal
Does virus Roxas from recoded count
Who would win, Kh2's super secret final boss or one jumpy boi.
I didn't even know the Zodiac Phantom Aqua was a optional boss, I just played through 0.2 and I beat her the first time, The other 6 took me forever, still haven't beaten Yozora though lol but Aqua Wasn't hard.
Well, you do fight Phantom Aqua as a part of the story, it's just that you can go back to that area again to fight an even stronger version of her.
nah I crushed the unknown. I was over leveled though
KH 2 Sephiroth gave, and still gives me nightmares.
I almost broke my psp on unknown figure and vanitas 4emnant lmao
I don’t know how I did it, but I beat them ALL. On Critical too
Yeah, I'm having a hard time figuring that one out too, just from having read your comment.
I am going to add larxene data battle in kh3 in critical because the moment the fight starts you’re dead
People watching who play on beginner: "this guy's full of shit O.O"
Yozora could also use the kupo coin.
Does anyone know the identity of some of these secret bosses? Just wondering
The mysterious figure in KH1 is Xemnas
The mysterious figure in birth by sleep is young Xehanort
Lingering Will is Terras armor fuled by will after being possessed by Xehanort
And yozoras real identity will presumably be explored In future games though a popular fan theory is he is Final fantasy vs 13 Version of Noctis
The clocktower ghost from KH1?
The fact that Yozora can steal your moggle coin and actually uses it, was terrible surprise lol that's false sense of victory suuuuuuuuuuucks lol Mysterious Figure aka Young Xehanort is a major pain! Completely unfair and random, so annoying to beat especially with Terra 😭
It’s basically a punishment for using journalist accessibility
Lingering Will had KH3 combat abilities
is it just me or does the unknown from KH1 seem a LOT like Xemnas?
