I have the utmost respect for you, Simon! Not only do you not take yourself too seriously, but you are a cat lover like myself, and are truly a Renaissance man. That was a beautiful job you did on the jug. Videographer, mudlarker, upcycler, artist and a kitty's best friend....you do it all, Simon!
The upcycling portion of your channel is my most favorite. Your talent & eye to detail are on full display with the resurrection of the water pitcher. Very well done, Tim!
@@dougzirkle5951I think his friend’s name is Tim … but at the beginning when he says to Tim, “Say hi Tim!” And Tim says, “hi Tim!” Tim is just joking… our fearless leader’s name is Si ❤
The jug came out brilliant. Your skill with finishing off broken pieces is a real talent. As always, the history you bring us is so interesting. Thanks!
SIMON: Your podcasts are fun to watch ! I particularly favor your good artistic eye and your found-art upcycling. Whilst mudlarking you”re constantly on the lookout for how objects could be incorporated into an aesthetic or useful context. And not to mention your command of multiple craft and carpentry skills necessary to carry out your ideas! Bravo !! I don’t think you’re aware of the ambassadorial service you provide for your country. For us everyday Americans we rarely get to feel we’re acquainted with the everyday Brit: all we know is your royalty and superstars. Carry on! You’re doing your part for bringing us together! I am really happy to see Tim along with you bottle digging. Tim’s knowledge is amazing and he is always ready to share it. I save your videos until evening so I can get comfortable and take some time to relax and watch Si Finds
Hi Si, lovely to see Tim, great upcycle on the scotch/Irish whisky jub brill find, my fav find was the half Oxo cup cause my family and I walk along the Thames often and we always pass the Oxo building, keep up the good work
Always a pleasure. See you on the embankment this summer find me selling paintings outside Tate art gallery, look for the person covered in paintings, and find treasures off the foreshore perhaps. Great channel to connect to our past!
Wowzers. Never heard of a change dish before. I wonder if the close thingy was something to do with a Victorian loo.....emptying etc. I do love the cats. No sniggering at the back. Jug is awesome
I'm blown away with the end product of the Excalibur water jar!! To say that I sing your praises is putting it mildly. I tell everybody about you, I tell everybody and show them pictures of what you've done and it just does so much to see somebody take something that's been buried for how many years, they find it, they take it home and they work on it and make it into a beautiful piece of art as far as I'm concerned and useful art at that!! Well done Si!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😍😍
My fave ever episode. Seeing the jug resurrected to be apart of the world again was awesome. Imagine if it could have spoken. I love that you give these inanimate objects a second life. Awesome❤
Wow! You are such a craftsman! Beautifully restored. I am always impressed by your skills! Greetings from Sweden🇸🇪 where we have no mud to lark...sadly..
That’s a great bow tie bottle. The inkwell seems smaller than others you have found. That’s a beautiful whiskey bottle even broken as it is. Your claw pipe is a great find. An awesome job on the whiskey bottle. 👍
Happy Easter🐣 The water jug came out really nice!! You ARE so talented!!! Thank you as always for sharing!! Please Take care and here’s loving pets for the cats and chickens❤ Washington State🇺🇸👋🏻
