Are you kidding!???? We love the setting up enclosure part!! It wouldn't feel complete without that part. Don't let other people's opinions determine how you live your life or run your channel !
It's a real treat to get so many good views of the underside of the P. rufilata! It's just as stunningly beautiful as the top view that we usually see.
Awesome as usual. I am so impressed with your own improvements to your enclosures. Years ago you saw a need to change the opening for your enclosures and you came up with the solution. You came up with a better door and then found the best way to produce it so others could use it as well. I have also watched your channel since DD1 and I still enjoy watching you make new homes for your entire critter family. It's probably because you use sand for the texture, of course. 🤣 🕷❤️
Just wanted to say your the reason I got a tarantula. I was always kinda weird about spiders and what not but now I have 2 giant leopard geckos and a Chaco golden knee ( grammostola pulchripes) which is a very good beginner tarantula. Thank you for the videos and In a way helping me get my first tarantula. :)
I love watching you set up the enclosures! Your enclosures are fantastic and, with the natural looking environment you create, the entire setup is very impressive.
It's super relaxing to do the enclosure in a theme setting. Western saloon style. Natural jungles or cave systems.. every Friday I fix a new one and raise a new sling. Really interesting hobby not going to lie.
old video by now, i know, but i just wanted to say that this is maybe my favorite thumbnail you've ever done. such a neat shot! and PLEASE never stop showing us the enclosure setup. it never gets old! :D
Heyy petco the building part of the enclosure its super cool and interesting its a creative part its very interesting to see how other keepers build their enclosure so please keep showing that part
7:25 i had 1 of those plants in my large rainforest enclosure but it ended up dying pretty fast, will be integrering to see how it does for you, it is a verry pretty plant
I used to watch you in your old apartment [I stopped watching youtube not just you. Glad you are still doing cage remodels! Also, I can see a wedding ring now! Congratulations!
The markings on these spiders are gorgeous. Especially striking are the red fuzz patches on the underside of the front legs of the larger one, only seen in threat display. They must be intended for a predator with color vision including red. Thanks for sharing this.
I really love how you get so excited over a good looking enclosures and pretty tarantulas! Lol Only reasonable response though. I get excited over your handi work and your 8 legged cage puppies too. ❤
Have you thought about Terra Aranea substrate or something similar? Also that fern will likely be wanting a very moist home.. not sure the T will want the same haha. But regardless its great seeing more thought and design aesthetic going into the enclosures.. even if the inhabitants aren't fussed! And that edit for the second enclosure was brilliantly done!
The holy sand😆, shouts to the springtales that usually are under appreciated. Yay, to refurbishing the new enclosure with previous unused plants and pieces! If their heavy webers would be interested in a quick times lapse. Thanks Petko and great music!
Don't believe the critics. It is nice to watch you creating these enclosures, starting with an empty box and ending up with a cosy living environment for the animals.
I DO like watching you set up new enclosures. It is a satisfying part of the tarantulas life (maybe not to the tarantula at first). But, it's a new home! Who doesn't like a brand new awesome home?
Hey nice Video. In my opinion you are the best UA-camr in the „Spider Game“. I love to watch your videos and to see the all these little guys :D Greetings from Germany
I really love the beautiful fern you used, its natural for wooded areas here in the uk. Would using orbies underneath the substrate help absorb the extra moisture that causes mould ?
Nice rehousing. I do like these enclosures. When will your pre fab plastic parts be available for overseas shipping? So I can put together a few of these here in the states?
I await the day you go to something like Twitchcon and someone goes around as a small container with sand for the texture :D Your enclosures never get boring to watch =)
You make it look so easy lol I have a P. cambridgei and Ornithoctoninae sp. mindanao that need rehousing and they both intimidate me 🤣I know I'll get thru it fine but they are so fast.
Petco, i have been watching since the original Dark Den apartment and watching you put the enclosures together never gets boring.
Me too!
Same!
I kinda miss those days lol Apartment days were fun
likewise, I remember when he had to go to his apartment storage to take out the tortoise that was hibernating. good times indeed.
I wasn't their for his first videos but I have been here for several years and it never get dull.
I really like how your new designs are coming together. The removeable top portion is well thought out.
Are you kidding!???? We love the setting up enclosure part!! It wouldn't feel complete without that part. Don't let other people's opinions determine how you live your life or run your channel !
The reason I sub on your channel is because of how amazing your enclosures are, so watching you building it is such a treat.
I really enjoy watching you fill out the enclosures!
Nice enclosure. They will definitely love them.
I love the enclosure builds, they give me inspiration for my rehouses!
Petcos grasp & use of English NEVER ceases to amaze me! 😲
He is more articulate than MANY native speakers 🙏
It's a real treat to get so many good views of the underside of the P. rufilata! It's just as stunningly beautiful as the top view that we usually see.
Every part of your videos are exciting to us !!!
It's always a treat watching you set up the enclosures!
Dark den is the man when it comes to high quality tarantula content. A true inspiration.

7:25 i had 1 of those plants in my large rainforest enclosure but it ended up dying pretty fast, will be integrering to see how it does for you, it is a verry pretty plant
my heart stopped the moment you put your hand into the old regalis enclosure and grabing stuff as if there was no tarantula inside 😂
Always waiting for that "sand for the texture"! You should add that quote to a t-shirt! 😂
That rufilata is stunning.
Love their new homes. Gorgeous tarantulas 😊

Have you thought about Terra Aranea substrate or something similar?

Every time you make a new enclosure, all I'm waiting for is: SAND FOR THE TEXTURE :D
3:08 "Hey! No poking the pokie!" 🤣
Whoop whoop, new video, been lurking on UA-cam for the last 10 minutes waiting for this 😁
I love your videos. I am one of those who enjoy the terrarium setup too. Happy spiders.

Do you have any links for the parts you use in your enclosures? Like the vents and the black strips for the edges?
You make it look so easy lol I have a P. cambridgei and Ornithoctoninae sp. mindanao that need rehousing and they both intimidate me 🤣I know I'll get thru it fine but they are so fast.
Is it weird that I'm not too fond of spiders but after watching a few videos from the Dark Den I want to have one.
Beautiful pulchripes
