Allen Spencer actually the correct title is close protection officer or body guard... I should know, it is my profession and I have the correct up to date licence and training. I am trained with and without firearms but as I am I'm the UK, 99% of the time I'm unarmed. Never in the Uk have I been armed, but sometimes a client needs to travel to a high risk location that requires armed protection.
Allen Spencer at no point was I being or meant to be rude but was simply correcting him,aybe where he is from the correct, although horrible and unprofessional sounding title is professional body guard, which is why I put the question at the beginning.
@@blackbullet2409 are there any non professional bodyguards? ie : ones who do it regularly without pay? there aren't.. it's redundant. Almost like saying you're a professional snow remover... as opposed to some one who shovels other peoples drive ways for free ;)

I work around the world reality is different. the best bodyguards I work with is Chinese .

I'm bodyguard by my self the reality is totally different . The theory and training is different when u know what happens and what it comes and when it comes is easy .
When u get surprised there u show how fast how clever how great heart u have to handle the situation in the fastest moment without u get damage your VIP and your team around you .
Everything depend for who u work what is a treat and how ready u are to take a bullet for your VIP.
Manny people have bodyguard for fame . Manny bodyguards have bigger bodyguard who can't even move so they can protect VIP body with they big body they cover the VIPs body with their body .
The great bodyguard is for me is how clever u are martial arts background how fast u are with gunn , how fast u are to handle the situation a treat with weapon and without weapon .how good driver u are and the last wold u take a bullet for your VIP.
Today we have a loot of bodyguards in the world sorry to say the most are not even close to take a bullet for VIP.
I travel around I see its not the muscles who makes u strong it's your heart and what I mentioned earlier background.
Few are good u think Donald trump have good bodyguard maybe. Yes but not all of them secret service are good but thay may not have al good bodyguard.
There is star around him with bodyguards what makes it great it's they are manny but not all are near his body and all will not know his driving route because of liking info to the treat eksempel.

In real life, every situation is different. In the competition situations must be similar to put teams in same situations. If you look javelin in athletics, do you think the Indians throw up the same way?
What is important in our view is that many people can see part of the work of bodyguards and raise the prestige of this difficult and responsible profession.
At the same time many young people will begin to train and be prepared for different situations, which are becoming more in Europe.
I think we need to look more widely at that!
I'm curious to how the scores are given, I see most of the team doing a fine job intercepting the threat and escorting the VIP to safety. This is a great event, thanks for the video!
The whole discipline is is split into 4 zones:
1st Zone: Exiting the car.
2nd Zone Escorting the VIP person from the car to the group assistants that represent the “crowd”.
3rd Zone: Demonstration of techniques for physical protection to stop the attack against the VIP person during the movement.
4th Zone: Covering and evacuation of the VIP person after the attack
In each zone there are judges who evaluate the actions of the team
Nothing difficult about stopping a guy with a stick waiting to be tackled
Salute the bodyguards who was willing.to lost their life when secure others life.

I didnt know there was championships for this. There wasn't in my day (mid 90s). I agree with some comments about its easier in training, as you know something is going to happen. In reality, you don't. The secret is being able to stay sharp all the time. If you are with a client for week's or even month. Doing the same thing every day, I don't care who you are. You will switch off at some point. It's not easy to be alert at 2am standing in your principles garden, in the pouring rain for the 14th night in a row. But very easy to be alert for 2minutes. Doing a drill for a crowd.
