If you ever find yourself homeless and without money, always count on a man wearing a turban to help you out. Sikh people are the most generous people in the world.
Lemon With Swag this is a fact. Met a few Sikh in my life, and they are so nice and easy to talk to.
The core of whole sikh religion is based on helping others and protecting others. Probably the most respected community in india.
Kenny P but don't just count on people all the time, try your best to get back on yr feet, you can definitely do it.

I remember being in hospital during my visit to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I was getting hungry after a night running through a bag of IV and while in a common ward, a group of sikh men approached everyone in a polite manner handing them hot naan, chicken marsala, lentil curry and spinach stuffed pastries. I was especially moved by their gesture for strangers! I will never forget that and it was definitely one of the best visits I've had
Aaron we all are light of god :))
Fake Sikh never serve non veg food.
well yeah not only that we do delivery food every night in Kuala Lumpur city at the street.. Monday to Sunday 200 to 300 food packet everyday to homeless at street

Its called a soup kitchen.....
Sikh Gurudwaras/temples were not actually made just for worship. They were made for more practical use, such as education, community organizing/gathering place, food, medicine, etc. Worshiping/reading can be done anywhere. Doesn't not require a designated place.
For sure... SIKHISM is not just a religion... It's all about HUMANITY ❤✌❤
Thats a good point
😂 What about khalistan ter*****sts?
Sikhi is the only religion, which doesn't believe in conversion, the best human beings on earth 🙏 baba Nanak
Neither the Sanathana Dharma!
The best thing ever happened in my life was get in touch with Sanatana Dharma.
Neither Hinduism believe in conversion
The religion doesn't believe in conversion but being born into a Sikh family, it was like an automatic indoctrination. No one asked me if I believed in god or not, they just assumed that I have to because they do.
neither Hinduism aka sanatana dharm believes it.
This brought an unexpected tear. I feel an odd sense of shame when the racist minority in my country simply reject what they have never taken the time to understand. In general, we are a very kind, generous and benevolent people especially in times of national disasters. If only we could extend that spirit en masse every day of every year such as these beautiful people do. Much love to all Sikh's around the world... Love from an Australian.

I am a Malaysian Hindu. But, I just can't help but admire Sikhism and the Sikhs for their generosity and kindness in feeding people, regardless of colour or creed. Other religions do too, but not on the scale and frequency as this. Maybe they are well financed or funded, I really don't know?. But look at their numbers and compare them to Hindu population in India. It's amazing and mind boggling. Anyway, they are probably the most hardworking, proud and humble people I know. Bless them and I pray towards their continued efforts to feed people. If all religions follow their example, there won't be hungry people in the world.
This community kitchen started up in 1601 in Amritsar. It has never stopped since then, because feeding the poor is a part of Sikhism and tradition. They could not care less about funding or finances, because volunteers provide food or everything else, from the 10% of hard-earned money, which they have earned and which goes in the feeding of the poor. Since then, 24 x 7, wherever you go, if there is a sikh guru dwaara - door of the master - called a temple in English, it does not matter whether you are a Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, of any race of any class, caste, creed, financial status, you can eat free meals.
Volunteers give service when they cannot pay with material goods, just in case you do not have a job and you are not earning. Sikhs never beg. They never asked for charity ever, they will never ask it, because they are a very proud people, serving you with humility. To beg you to donate money means that they are not earning enough to feed the poor. They will never do this ever.
Muslim here, very impressed by the kindness expressed by the sikhs, respect to the gurus for their beautiful teachings! Weheguru

these people really care i mean in America we do try but never to this extent and there’s usually never enough for everyone and the sad thing is we have money and tons of donations and so much food thats wasted that could be donated but these people are feeding thousands and giving seconds that’s amazing and its real food ...red cross doesn’t even give a real meal.. it really shows the level of respect they have for their people and i admire them for supporting their people and even guests of any race/background these people really are amazing you would never get that at your standard church.

As is my natural defence to not showing emotion of any kind, I could have quite easily made so many quips/puns/jokes about what was said in this video, what was shown, etc. But for some reason I'm genuinely intrigued by the generosity and kinship. It actually looks like something that I, as a self proclaimed cultural virgin, would consider attending simply to learn *why* this takes place.
To my newfound idols in India, props to you. You're actually doing a good deed that to me at least sounds completely selfless.
Andy Jones to your question why is this done, its done to satisfy the most basic need of water and hunger and moreover let people of all caste rich or poor sit at the same level and eat. No one should go to bed empty stomach :)

That is so wonderful❤🙏 Thanks to God. My family knew an Indian family in 1972 in Cal. They let us stay a few days with them. They had won dishes from my husbands concession stand on the Carnival. They were Hindu.
Sikhs are the people with lots of discipline, helps every living being unbiased, they will feed without asking your religion or caste or absolutely anything.
Lots of respect to Sikh community.
When i was very small i had chance to go to gurudwara for lungar bcoz of my punjabi neighbours but after that we changed house and there was nobody to go with till even now :_(
You are very lucky to go to sikh temple and had food that tastes better than any 7 star hotel ;)
Lots of love and gold bless you all :)
Almost all temples serve free food those who visit to the temple.
In INDIA
@@suprabhadevi7843 really? We have a temple near our home. We used to go there every Tuesday with boondi parsad. They never served any langar inside.
@@Hightides897 Few temples with the help of communities serves free food for almost all festivals small temples which arent associated with any foundations and stuff cant afford it. Temples in my area provides free meals for ganesh, durga ma navaratri and other festivals with foundations support.
@@yashvi2048 I guess then you should respond to Suprabha Devi's comment and not mine. She is not being truthful.
Who the hell can dislike this video .. it's full with humanity .. Sikh community is not very big in India but they serve the country , more than others community . .
These volunteers are very kind hearted, this is way harder than my old restaurant job that paid me & I didn’t even want to continue, yet these people does this for free at a way larger scale
This video makes my day there is great ppl in the world love from Memphis
I am also a Sikh bro thanks you so much to show our Sikh religion god bless u bro also come to amritsar golden temple plz come
I have visited the Golden Temple in Amristar...Majestic
Julian Madondo where u from
The Golden Temple was truly incredible, for any person, it's the experience of a lifetime. I can still remember the light coming in through the windows of the sanctum and the food I ate there. We would live in a better world if we had more Sikhs and less of the pushy, violent religions. I even kept the orange head scarf!
Langar real purpose is to have people rich/poor,colors, caste, creed, language, etc to come sit down in a disciplined way and eat. This is a protest against Caste system where people of higher caste would not eat with people of lower caste. It teaches many things 1. Volunteering 2. Sharing 3. equality 4. Love etc
Great explanation. If I join again and make a video I’ll explain in that way. Thanks.

@@BestEverFoodReviewShow also visit aksaya patra one of the world largest kitchen feeding 2 millions children in India .
And Sikh religion is all about humility. When I was in Amritsar, I could see millionaires serving there in jobs like shoe stand, cleaning etc. We should all learn to be as humble as them and value all work!
Discrimination based on caste is evil which is followed by some bad people driven by political force not by everyone. Proof is Ramayan and Mahabharat.
Oh wow. This touched my heart. I've been binge watching ur videos and laughing and cringing but have never commented....but this one...this one made me wanna cry
