When you do a How I video I pay attention. You know your stuff. I really think you'll have a big following eventually. Especially if you continue to invest in video cameras to get great picture quality. The tripod shots were excellent.

They are looking great. So glad he got over the mites! Lost mine last week. Absolutely gutted :( Need to replace him in the new year

@@gavsTarantulas it moulted bad I think. A week after it moulted I could see legs at te mouth of the burrow, pretty normal but he wasnt hungry. A week later when I went to feed he was like doubled over and seemed to have a "cut" where the abdomen and car apace join and he was just deflated. No death curl or anything, just limp and floppy poor thing :( shame. I got it BTS too, but mine was same size as yours are now when I bought, so he was packing on some size :(

Hi gav, well today was a total bxlls up mate, after I arrived at the train station to get to Ashford when I was sitting on the platform we was told a pro Palestine demonstration was going on around London Bridge stn, where I was, and trains were either delayed or just cancelled, because police were expecting trouble to erupt today🤬🤬

hey, i hope you read the comments because i would really like to ask you what you fed your slings when they were as tiny as 1cm dls as you mentioned, i recently got a sling of the species at around 2 cm but it has not accepted the piece of Zophobas morio i placed next to it. It doesn't seem stressed in the enclosure but its only moderately moist and it hasn't started to web yet. I have had it for 2 days now. I am worried that if the live prey i plan to offer next stresses it out i might have made a huge mistake.

All depends on what it was fed before your got it but I have let them settle for few days to a week, a chance to web the I use small fruit flies or now small crickets but slightly squish the crickets as they can harm the sling, depending of sling species the docile ones I kill the cricket and place in middle and check 24hrs later if cricket in same place I remove it wait 2 more days and try again

I think your substrate is too dry for them thats why theyre not burrowing.
No the substrate was moist but they both climbed up, ive also got a few more since then and they all did the same but came down and burrowed once bigger
