I also take 5/5 cruelty begining level 10. That's a pure 5% crit chance which is solid gold, then rend/parry to start going down Arms. Yeah I don't get Sweeping Strikes until level 35 but fools be dropping like flies. I respec at 40 to get Mortal Strike and retake 5/5 cruelty 41-45
5% crit chance is good, but I always take the guaranteed improved rend damage which is huge from 10-20. 5% crit bonus when you have better gear is more worth. Thanks for watching!
I rush to Anger Management, because on early levels you constantly short on Rage, and u always notice that u lack 1-2 rage to use various abilities and that talent generates rage in combat, which is omegaimportant, even more important than impr overpower! Improved Slam worked amazing for me, install weapon swing timer addon and use Slam at the end of swing, u'll do autoattack + Slam, yes mobs will pushback your casting time slightly, but it's still better than trying to save impossible 30 rage for mortal strike, believe me u won't have that much rage till raids, so better spam cheap Slam, which is almost as effective as MS. It's questionable when to swap from arms to fury+impr Slam, i did it after i got 60 on hc, but i think you can do it when you have just enough talents to take impr Slam - basically u sacrificing Sweeping for single target increase. Also i took mace spec, and those stuns were fantastic, sometimes even proccing 2 times in a row, u don't have much interrupts as warrior and mace stuns really helped (in dungeons i tanked with 1h mace and it worked too). I replaced WW mace with ZF stun staff, and then returned to mace when it dropped from Mara Princess, which carried me to 60. (starting as warr on fresh btw :)
Taurean’s have war stomp and increased stamina, which can be useful! Orcs also have blood fury, which 25% increased attack power is huge, and axe racial. I always go Orc but nothing wrong with Tauren in HC.
@@iamtheone91 What abilities do you use in defensive stance at low levels, below level 20, that you would want stance mastery for in the open world? I’m just curious. Thanks for watching.
@@frenziiii It's for Anger Maangement, as I said. The passive rage generation is really nice. I can see an argument for getting improved charge first, though, but I don't think there is a big difference. I don't think small choices in the talents matter all that much, though. I think efficient warrior leveling pre-40 comes down to if you are being smart and using sunder armor or if you are spamming Heroic Strike (what I did my first time around), that really is the big difference maker.
@ Ah, I see what you’re saying I misread your first comment. Yep, anger management is a great ability I talk about it a lot in my tanking videos as far as “keeping a pace”
At 57 i respecced to prot/arms with an axe and shield. I'm staying alive so much better than any other spec and killing as fast of not faster. Idk why people hate on prot so much.
Does your pure fury build does more damage from 10-60 or the Fury/Arms? I'm kinda torn between those too and just want to do tones of dmg with my fury warrior. Thank for all the info's btw
A warrior talent build without 31 point in one of the branch is completely useless. The only reason you would delay having 31 points in arms (or prot) at lvl 40 is to get the 5% crit from fury. But at lvl 44 you max you should have 31 points in one of the branches, period.
i could see the 16 points in fury being incredible for dungeon tanking and group play with the improved shouts, but since you can't spam dungeons in HC it loses a lot of appeal.. If I were to level a warrior on normal servers, maybe I'd try it out.
I’m not sure where you’re going in your comment. My arms build I went straight down with having sweeping strikes right at level 30. If you’re talking about the fury/arms hybrid one, if you think having 5-10% extra damage on enrage at lvl 25-26 is better than going to grab deep wounds and impale your own personal opinion. Otherwise, the other 3 builds I suggested went straight down. I also suggested that these builds apply to certain scenarios such as playing HC or just dungeon spamming normal era servers. Thanks for watching.
@@frenziiii what I mean is that while leveling you should always go the shortest path to either mortal strike or bloodthirst (or shield slam if you're some kind of masochist 😅) and not place talents point in 2 branches at the same time. The 31 points talents are way too good, you must get one at lvl 40 and not disperse your points everywhere.
@@jeroboam4486 Yeah I respect that for sure. Early level warrior has a lot of percentage talents, so most of my videos are for newer players who should be playing the percentages as they level up. But you’re not wrong.

You should make it very clear what the talents youre suggesting are for. HC, pvp openworld, or dungeon grind? Also dont forget to mention that anger management generates 1 point of rage every 3 seconds during combat.
Arms is pretty straight forward for HC and open world. All of these can be used in both versions, except you might value other talents such as improved hamstring, blood craze, or improved berserker rage in a hardcore setting. But definitely not needed.
