Alessio's reaction is priceless. Did we get your favorite Super Bowl food or did we miss it??

Alessio dipping the wing in the queso definitely certified his American status!😂😂😂
Texas Jalapeno Poppers are wrapped in Bacon, and baked.
The 7 Layer has varities: we add cooked ground beef in the bottom, refried beans, [sour cream/ guacamole/ salsa] are all optional. For those who can't handle the heat, we don't add salsa. For those watching their weight, we add a few dollops of sour cream on top. Finally we add chopped lettuce, tomatoes and a sprinkling of cheese.
Texans agree with Alesio: great BBQ doesn't need sauce.
My late father (salute) and my brother (to whom the torch was passed) both have made ribs which required no sauce, but proclaimed their perfection au natural.
Chopped onions and jalapeños improve the 7 layer dip. I had some last year for the first time with the extra onions and jalapeños sprinkled on top, and it is next level.
Love you guys! What a fun video. The Philly Italians are all crying, "Fly, Eagles, Fly!"
Jesse is correct about the beer. To properly pour a beer, you tilt the glass at a 45 degree angle and when the glass is half full, you start to turn the glass upright. You’ll get the perfect head of foam
Pig in the blankets need mustard or cheese sauce for dipping
100% was going to post that also lol.
He should have dipped it in the queso.
Pigs in a blanket and queso.
Or ranchor at least ketchup
Somebody needs to tell Alessio that Kansas City is in Missouri! (Yes, I know there's a Kansas City, Kansas, but it's teeny compared with KC MO.)
Fun video. Love and appreciate you guys.
I love love love these kinds of videos from you two! ❤️ While I ALWAYS want Alessio to be honest in his reviews, I am so thrilled to see that he enjoys so many of the classic Super Bowl foods! Some thoughts: 1. The seven-layer dip really needs the ‘scoop’ type chips; less messy IMO. 2. Jessie is right about the beer pour. 3. I personally prefer boneless BBQ wings dipped in BBQ sauce. 4. The other thing I like to have on Super Bowl Sunday is chili in the crockpot. Love how it can cook for hours and stay warm, and people can come as often as they like to get some. Love you both!! ❤️🌹
They really should have bought the scoops variety. I can’t stand thin chips with 7 layer, guacamole, or queso. I don’t drink alcohol so I’ll pass on that one. I prefer boneless wings with bleu cheese. Philly cheesesteaks are awesome, and if I’m at a party I wouldn’t like to try and eat ribs. The other options would be best. I hate pigs in a blanket and like jalapeños. Chili is a great idea because I put mine in a crockpot too.
Jessie was right about the beer pouring. I didn't get a job once because I didnt know how to poor the beer "correctly!" Love all these foods!
That's so sad. It's such an easy thing to learn and to teach. You should have been given a chance to.❤
I NEVER thought Alessio would choose an American Football team. I think my heart stopped for a second! 😂 IV infusion of Italian Vino STAT (and some authentic pizza)! You two are adorable and entertaining and I wish you all of the best in your next journey.❤
P.S. Jersey Girl here and absolutely no Ranch! Blue Cheese all the way and it can cut some of the heat if the wings are ultra spicy 🔥! (Cheating? Maybe. I prefer calling it surviving. LoL 😅)
I love this idea for a video ❤ 🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈 ❤️ we all know that the SuperBowl is all about the food and commercials anyways!
This year we are getting the GOOD Super Bowl commercials BACK! 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
Alessio is actually correct about the beer. I was a restaurant manager for 30 years. He is correct about all of the CO2 ending up in your stomach if you tilt the glass. One of my good friends is a beer cicerone and he is the one that taught me this.
I'm from Germany and had worked in a pub there. You tilt the glass, less foam. Beverages have to fill to the correct line 0.2 or 0.4 liter. Foam does not count. Same with soda. If you order a small cola 0.2 liter but you want ice. We had to pour cola into small glass to fill line, add to a big glass and add ice. Now that was 40 years ago, not sure if they still operate on the same standards. Germans do not add ice to drinks back then. But we where near an airforce base and they wanted ice in their drinks.
Sorry Alessio, Jessis right about the beer pour.
Yes, no head on beer. Or if there is a head, just add a little pinch of salt to the beer.
Alessio is right. You need to pour the beer so the gas dissipates
They're both right for their own argued reasons, but as a former bartender, I'd be ashamed if I poured a beer like Alessio for a customer.
@@HappyGothGalIf you think Jessi is right then you need to watch John Taffer’s video on the correct way to pour a beer.
Jessi is correct. Only because that's how I pour it. So, for me, and only me, Jessi is right.
Jessie is right about the way to pour the beer
What an entertaining video! Thanks!
Alessio, there are a LOT of Italians in Philadelphia!!! You gotta cheer for the Eagles! And the proper way to cheer for us is GO BIRDS!!! 🦅(And of course, a cheesesteak is always the best!!!) Love your channel!
I love Philly Go Eagles , anzi Goo Birds
Great video ,your football faces are hilarious ! Great job
born and raised in Kansas City here and a fellow Italian and I agree with Alessio, you need the gas in the bier to escape or all of the carbonation ends up in your stomach.
I would like to also add that BBQ in KC isn't what it used to be, though still one of the country's best there has been a recent influence of Oklahoma/Texas style BBQ and it has changed things a bit.
anywho...
Are you ready for a good football game?! I sure am. ❤
You guyz are CUTE, no matter what you do together...
APPROVED
Bx❤😎
On the beer pour the truth is between Jessi and Alessio. Although it is good to put a nice head on the beer for look, taste, and your gut, you still start with a tilt so you don't have half head and have to wait all day.
Jessie, you should make Rotel dip for him. You know, velveeta and a can of Rotel tomatoes/ chiles. When I was growing up in northern illlinois my Granny would “smuggle” cans of Rotel to us from AR and we’d have the dip about once a year. New Year’s Day, etc.
I LOVE 7 layer dip, too!!
Growing up we did a jar of cheese whiz, ground beef, and salsa. I had Rotel dip at a friend's house and it just wasn't as good.
Alessio, you are right about the beer 🍻🍻 I learned about it a few months ago. Just pouring it straight Is the correct way if you dont want all that gas inside you. Also, you can drink more this way.
Fun video! Love you two! Must come to Philly for a real Cheesesteak!
Yeah, true cheesesteak. No tourist places! Hell, even a local pizza place will do!
Yes, you need a real Philly cheesesteak! Go Eagles!❤❤
GO BIRDS!!! 🦅
Go Birds!🦅
Yes, anywhere that isn't pats or Geno's haha. Go birds!
You guys crack me up! Cheesesteak for the win!😉
Jessi for the beer pour!!!!🎉
caso isnt a dip option... you dont live in tex mex area ... caso is not mexican or american! also kansas city isnt the best but missouri has the best bbq but in st lious style ribs are better
Fun fun fun AND delicious video!!👍😋
12 years in America and Alessio now appreciates Mexican food!!! 😂😂😂
We always have meatballs, pizza, kielbasa, cheese and crackers and some type of peanuts…usually honey roasted… yes beer too… but slso soda…
They are so darn cute 🥺
Thanks for this review. It all looks so good!
As for who wins, I've got split loyalties. I grew up in Philly but my stepdaughter lives in KC with her KC-born husband. We've come to love that town, too.
Either way, one side of the family will be happy and the other side will be sad. Luckily, it's only a game.
Finally, I have to say that KC style BBQ sauce absolutely rocks. I've been making a version for years that's always a hit.
Jessi is 100% correct about pouring the beer! 🍻🍺🍻 Love watching your videos! Enjoy the Super Bowl! 🏈🥳🏈
Excellent video, very well done! This is good entertainment! Hugs from Japan
Alessio is correct on beer pouring. The foam head releases the scent of the beer and expels gasses before they enter your tummy.
Alessio is right about the beer!!! Kisses for both from Argentina!!!❤❤❤
“You are officially American” LOL-dip everything in the queso!
These hot dogs in this puff pastry are very common here in Croatia (we are neighbors to Italians), it is very common in our bakeries.
This food competition segment was cute with the best known/loved❤ dishes of the cities whose teams are vying for the Super Bowl title, BUT this event is taking place in New Orleans with some of the best food on the American continent. The city’s iconic dishes are known in many corners of the world and are not limited to one or two items. You guys lived here in the city, met here, fell in love here, ostensibly ate many great meals in NOLA. This city for the win and your rankings for the second and third spots.
It was so good to see Alessio enjoying his food rather than saying immangiabile with a crestfallen expression.
As for the beer, let's say Alessio is right for canned/bottled beer and Jessi is right for draft beer. May not be accurate but this way you're both winners.
Jessie is correct about the beer part❤
I agree with Alessio. If you don't want to feel bloated, let the drink foam up when you pour it.
@@ThoseWhoStayUofM100% correct
Great food overview, guys. I, for one, would have loved to sample Jessi's own 7-layer dip - it seems delicious 😊. Thank you for this video & enjoy the Super Bowl.
Jessi and Alessio are both right about pouring beer!
You start at a 45° angle and when your glas/cup is half full you turn it upright for that perfect 2-finger layer of foam. 🍺👍
Real Buffalo wings come with a side of blue cheese for dipping. From a lifelong New York State resident! Yum!😊❤
Agree. I wonder if she switched the words by accident. BBQ and blue cheese sounds like a bad combination to me.
She says she has two dipping sauces 1) blue cheese 2) ranch
Yes!!! Western New Yorker here and it’s only blue cheese. Granted, I am a purest and prefer a good and juicy, crispy wing not dipped in anything. But I still know that blue cheese is the only answer between that and ranch. I also like garlic Parmesan wings and I will dip them in Bison dip!!
@@coleyann74 On Long Island it's Jamaican jerk chicken wings. Crispy and dry rub.
In the UK pigs in blankets are chipolatas wrapped in bacon. We call your pigs in a blanket sausage rolls. 😊
Thanks for the fun video! Go Eagles! - I have tried Philly cheesesteaks in a bunch of places, but nothing beats Geno's in South Philly - I used to live like three houses away.
That was fun. Great job & thanks.
We do have a Kansas City Kansas as you are calling it but most of it is in Missouri which is where most people are from.
Jessie's right about the pour but put your finger in it and the foam falls faster love you guys!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
A wing connoisseur would know blue cheese is always the choice for buffalo wings.
Maries chunky blue cheese
Using Ranch (the most overrated condiment) is for wimps.
When I make wings, for superbowl or whenever, I like to marinade them in a spicy mixture like buffalo sauce, sriracha, vinegar, and chili powder or some mix, then slow smoke them on my grill with apple and cherry wood. Then you get a drier, smokier wing that is nice and crispy, and still spicy on its own, and make some sauces on the side.
Sauces: I like the traditional bleu cheese, but also homemade ranch dip, or a spicy buffalo honey BBQ combination - usually all 3 so people can choose.
And of course, carrots and celery.
Jessi is right about the beer - ALWAYS tilt the glass.
🤗😘 too wholesome.
When he dips the wing in the queso, 'you are officially American' hell yeah brother!!
Jessi is right about the right way to pour a 🍺 beer.
Jessi ha ragione per quanto riguarda l'imbicchieramento della birra, Alessio per quanto riguarda il prosecco, le due cose non possono essere interscambiabili però; ogni servizio ha il suo perché, come sanno i veneti ed i tedeschi.
Jessi is right about how to pour beer. Love your videos!
I’d recommend bacon wrapped jalepenos with cream cheese instead. Grinders on Hawaiian rolls and steak nachos! Don’t forget pizza!
Eagles fan here. I use Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce, which is made in Chicago. And since the Bears are not in the Superbowl, it's OK to eat if you're using that sauce.
Need dips for those poppers and pigs in a blanket, like blue cheese, ranch or honey mustard, and definitely pub cheese of some kind 😊 Also, bone in wings are better than boneless wings, which are just breast meat nugs!
Jessie is right about the beer 🍺
I LOVE how you said, GET PASSED THE NAME!!!!😅😅
As a dutch ex-bar tender I learned and know you'll get the perfect 2 fingers of foam by tilting and touching the cold glass with the can or tap or whatever you use to serve the cold beer.. Warm glass or warm beer will give more foam, same for the serving-distance (the further away the more foam)🤓 Jessi = Right!!😁
Jessi you broke him lol. Wings in queso
The Superbowl isn't called the world championship. Maybe you are thinking of the World's Series.
Jessies doesn't always show you the best of our U.S. food, though much of the time she does buT she's absolutely RIGHT about titling the glass when you pour beer, every culture I've come across knows that so it Mind-boggling that Alessio aka "Mr. Cuisine Expert" lolol didn't know that!?? #BlessHisHeart
Always serve pigs in a blanket with a honey mustard dip, thanks be to those who taught me!
Also, no beans chili sauce and 8 ounces of cream cheese, heat up and melt the cheese, serve with a hearty corn chip or tortilla scoop! It’s super yummy!
Alessio is correct about beer. German here. You want a flower head on your beer. If no head it becomes flat too soon, especially American beer. But, Americans always do without head. They have no culinary culture. 😮
Alessio is real hyped :D Maybe you should do a comedy show instead of a commercial hehe :D
AND Jessi is right about pouring the beer -> advice from Germany lol
Blue cheese with the Buffalo wings!!!
Jessi knows how to pour a beer. Jessi is right about a lot of things. :)
Now we need a video of alessio brushing his teeth with queso 🤣🤣🤣
Americans love their sauces, definitely need something to dip the pigs in a blanket and poppers in, I don’t think Alessio got the full experience. If you ever poured a beer like that for your guests you would never live it down. Source: I never lived it down 😂
Happy to see Alessio enjoying the classic American football snacks, but amazed he didn’t like the 7 layer dip. And hell yeah, he’s definitely Americanized with queso dipping the wing! 😂
Jessi is right about pouring the beer! 😊
You both are amazing love watching your channel 😍
Now I am hungry.
You guys are funny. And loved how Micia was trying to steal the show behind you. :-) Jessie is right about the beer and washing the glass with some water before pouring the beer will also help not develop too much foam.
I would dip the chip in the seven layer dip and then put queso on top! YUM!
Wow,never saw Alessio like so many things in one show 🎉
Let's go Philly wooo 🎉
Love your vids 😂
Very funny video❤❤❤
You guys are f*cking adorable. Seriously. I mean this respectfully. Good job.
Jessie knows how to pour a beer!😁🍺
Southern California foodies here: We make Korean chicken wings, corn fritters with pineapple salsa, and jicama slaw (Bobby Flay's recipe) for our Super Bowl party. Hubby also loves to make pork ribs if we have lots of people invited over to eat them. Ain't no hot dogs or burgers in my house for Super Bowl. Nope, nope, nope.
I'm from Wisconsin; the beer state and Jessi is right. You tilt the glass so it doesn't foam up so much. Also, if you ever come here you have to try the deep fried cheese curds. They are amazing!
I was just watching your video on toramina!!! I was there ! Such a beautiful place and watching I got to return to such beautiful memories!!!! Thank you!!!❤
Go birds! 🦅💚🏈 looking forward to having a cheesesteak on Sunday!
6:11 We never made 7 layer dip, we did taco dip (also layered).
Cream cheese with taco seasoning mixed in, salsa, shredded iceberg lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, shredded cheddar cheese.
You’re rooting for the right team! Let’s go chiefs 🏈 also Jessie is right about the beer 😆
Gotta tilt that glass to pour a beer! Now I’m hungry for some food 😉
Jessie is correct regarding the foam. Your beer needs to have a good head and best way to pour it is to tilt the glass. I’ve had bar work experience. ❤
For US beers, tilt the glass (it's not a Guiness). Queso dip is so easy to make and better. Very few things will beat a good cheesesteak sandwich. I'll make at home adding sautéed mushrooms and provolone cheese. Cooking chicken tomorrow so I can make Buffalo chicken hot dip (using cream and blue cheese) for Sunday.
Jessie on the beer 😂even tho I don't like beer 😂 but she is right 🤣
Jessi is right! Tip glass 🍻🍺
Buffalo wings are the quintessential food item of Bills Mafia! 🦬 ❤💙🏈 ALWAYS bone-in, served with creamy blue cheese. They can be found in every local pizzaria in upstate New York year round.
Jessi is 💯 correct on the foam! Tilt the glass, Alessio! ❤
Jessie is right, take it from a bar person in the UK 😊
Thank you! Very fun :D Where's your water in between to cleanse your pallet? :D I love the poppers!
jessi yes!!!! don't forget the bubbles!!!
Gooooo Chiefs❤❤❤
I'm in the states and never could get into football. Soccer is still the best game.
