    The One Piece Shawl is one of the most popular project ideas on Pinterest and one of the easiest too. This is a simple, one-piece long strip (rectangle) that is made of a One Row Repeat pattern and sewn to its own side.
    You can easily make this project on a weekend.
    The yarn we used is Uru Yarn in the color Lapis. This is the yarn we got on our April Knitcrate yarn subscription and we love the color and spark in it!
    We get special yarn and instructions delivered to us every month. You can check them out here: and get 20% off your first crate with the code Joanne20. (this is an affiliate link, so thanks for checking them out).
    /// Instructions
    Triangle Shawl Wrap (KnitCrate)
    I used both skeins of the April KnitCrate Yarn Sugared Sport.
    Sport Weight yarn about 500 yards.
    Size 11US (8mm) needles.
    Gauge=16- 17stitches=4”
    Small=42”
    Medium=46”
    Large=50”
    With=16”
    Cast on 66 stitches, softly.
    Lace Stitch: Multiple of 3. One Row Repeat.
    Knit 1 stitch, yarn over (by bringing the yarn to the front),
    knit 2 stitches together.
    Repeat to the end of the row.
    Keep repeating this row until 42, 46 or 50” from the start.
    Bind off softly.
    Bring the end of the rectangle to one side of it, starting at the beginning.
    Pin in place and sew.
    You now have a triangle at the front. You can also wear it with the triangle to one side or to the back.
    Enjoy your work!

    Hi Joanne, I want to make this lovely shawl for a Mum, she's really frail and has loss a lot of weight so her size is really small, I would say petite right now after going through radiotherapy 😔how many stitches should I make? I'm a beginner so I cannot calculate those things by myself yet. Thank you for teaching us, you're wonderful and I enjoy your calming voice. Thank you so much! 💌

      Please do the same as on the video and instructions. It's really one size fits most.

    Very pretty. Would like to see how you wear it. Trying to visualize how it wears with the way it is sewn together. Thank you.
