I have spent 2 hours going bavk and forth thru all the links, facebook, blog and cannot find the pattern for this. Can you please guide me or provide a link. None of the above links take me to this takes me to some large aqua loop project and no matter what I do I just keep going round and round to your intro video????

You lost me on how long to make the beginning tail. 😢. No wonder I chose Orchestra instead of Home Ec. 🤪. What's the flat out easiest thing to begin on? Like a pot holder? 😆. This comment is so stupid but I'm SO SERIOUS. And I'm almost 66 y.o. so I don't have a whole lot of time to waste. 😆. Do you have like a "Knitting For Dummies" book? You're very pretty and a wonderful teacher, I think I'm just too left brained. I wish I'd have known that my mom was counting all those years. I would've thrown out numbers randomly all the time. 🤣

Love the poncho! I have a tip for long tail cast on for such a large number of stitches. If you use a second skein, you can make a slip knot using both skeins, cast on the stitches using the second skein as the tail. Cast on the number of stitches required but do not count the slip knot. Cut the "tail" , knit your stitches and remove the slip knot. There will be an extra tail to weave in, but you will never run out of yarn to cast on.
