I'll never forget watching of mice and men in english class for comparison to the book, getting to the ending, and experiencing my friend getting yelled at for shouting "BOOM. HEAD SHOT" at the climactic moment.

11:15 ive literally only notice the TRIGGER DISCIPLINE, and i cant remember if this was pre or post mocap. pre meaning he consciously animated it and post mocap meaning even if it was just a nerf gun or something he still consciously or unconsciously practiced trigger discipline.
Ah, Of Mice and Men, a true classic, I remember it because we had a foreign exchange student from India, and she read it word for word which I found very funny Also fun fact: Jacket is a veteran so the outfit is somewhat correct

Ah. Apparently it's true for other EA games because when I played NFS Heat and built a very fast blue Datsun Fairlady Z and wanted to get a "DEVIL Z" number plate for it, the game wouldn't let me. Meanwhile "AKUMA" was OK... (Context: Devil Z is a Wangan Midnight reference, "akuma" literally means "devil" in Japanese. Seems like DEVIL is a no-no word.)
To be honest that might have been me, cuz I remember playing no mercy and using the lmg that comes with the flamethrower under barrel. But then again maybe he ran into someone else doing something similar. I just know that I did that during a stream of his.
For context to the bit at the beginning of the video the reason why the prediction wasn't within twitch guidelines is because at the time you couldn't use compound words with apostrophes in prediction titles or maybe just the word "y'all" due to something either a glitch or something that had happened before
My first badger experience was a short on Facebook that made me laugh so much I had to look him up, after that best of 2023 just came out and got hooked line and winked into the rabbit hole
The funniest part about the spoon to me: it’s got pretty decent concealment stats, so it’s an actually viable stealth weapon despite the fact that it’s almost as long as your character is tall.
there's two different ways somebody who could recognize that would respond: the source, steinbeck's "of mice and men," or the abominable snowman from some of the later looney tunes ("i will pet him and hug him and call him george")
We shit on AAA games for this stuff because it's expected to be a good, solid, bug tested game. (and if it isn't quite fully done, that they try to fix shit quickly, like Baldurs Gate 3 that released like a thousand bug fixes in under a week of the full release) whereas payday is *known* for "this game is goofy as hell" and people play for the chaos, random stuff and the "features".
10:41: of mice and men. Now ask about the author idk. Modern literature back in highschool had to read that, the great Gatsby, and the old man of the ocean. Had this on background play so rewatching and having fun. More back ground stuff but caught the question this time.
In my school it became a meme to spoil the ending of 'of mice and men' by writing 'george shoots lenny' in the opening pages of every book in the school including all the dictionaries and each others' textbooks and workbooks.
Holy shit you were '95 too? Same bro. Unfortunately i still feel old. Supposedly, according to some experts, 95 is smack dab in the middle between the teo gens.
You're talking to someone who has read the original book and seen the movie for Of Mice And Men. We even had to do a comparison piece for English class. Yeah it is one of a kind and I wouldn't be surprised if not many people know it.
9:24 wait that sounds familiar, it might've been me cause I often enjoy rampaging through no mercy like that. it is fantastic for the flamethrower since it tends to light everyone in the room on fire at once and I use the minigun as a backup method taking advantage of a piercing skill I have. and it's also hilarious because I wear max armor (well, not iron man armor) and use, I think it was, the ammo and stealth trees to freely sprint in any direction and even use my weapons while doing so turning it into a game of doom (people are often surprised when they learn it's nearly max armor as well since I use some skills and the copycat deck to reduce the movement penalty pretty significantly). let me know if this sounds familiar, I'm not entirely sure.
Of mice and men, in middle school we watched the film and read the book for that and animal farm. Then highschool we got to read 1984. Things make sense after reading them..
Comically large spife when? 10:35 You're asking _me_ to tell you about the rabbits? ಠ_ಠ Wait, you were born in 95? *_FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUU-_* Ahem. I feel old, now.
@kip reacts I want you to try the heister rust. Cause he’s literally just Ron Perlman aka the original Hellboy actor. Absolute maniac with a sailor’s mouth, I love it
Damn, Badger is 92 and Kip is 95. Here I am smack in the middle at 93. 🤣 Also, I started out maining Rust because Ron Perlman, but I eventually switched over to Duke for the voice lines.
Of Mice and Men. Of everything i've read, that's the book that caught me off guard. Never judge a book by its cover or something? Anyways, fantastic book, worthy of any book report.
Personally I main Duke but when I feel like it I’ll swap to Jacket or Jimmy but I always return to duke my beloved mostly because I have a Golden Doge Mask and wear the Tuxedo Costume and the fancy white gloves because I find it funny
this react may be seven months old but who cares. When my class read Of Mice and Men, we all felt the book was deep, the book delivered the message. But when we watched the movie adaptation the week after finishing it, nah we laughed till we dropped at that last scene because it felt so butchered.
The bit about bullying getting results is a lot less funny nowadays considering the fan response to Payday 3's issues. ISTG, if I have to see one more meme about the player count, I'm going to start screaming.
Context is also super important. Badger and co did it as meme lords and in good fun. Payday 3 has issues where players are engaging in actual harassment and negativity.
It's a reprise of the video. I'm taking a few select older videos marred by QA and audio issues and am doing a do-over. It's so I can better respect that content and people like seeing old Kip vs new Kip. I will only ever do 1 reprisal if a reaction gets one. So you won't see another version of this later down the line.
Of mice and men in the late 80's they did one with Malkovich but I prefer What's Eating Gilbert Grape over Of Mice and Men Movie the book was way better.
So I learned three things in this video. 1. Green beans cannot be talked about 2. Kip discovered a bunch of things he didn't see the first time he watched this. 3. I'm four years older then you. (I was born in 91)
I do love that Badger is directly responsible for the spoon
The PAYDAY wikia even admits this.

Your friend is an absolute legend

the real question: Which Version of the Movie did you prefer?
@@TheKyleman6 only watched one movie. Can't remember which version it might have been. But I preferred the book to the film.
Ya know, there's something uniquely wholesome about Kip dying of laughter.

“Tell me about the rabbits, George” The only book I actually liked in 10th grade.

"Tell me about the rabbits, Jorge."

I’ve been waiting for this one! My favorite Russian Badger video, period.
