Hope you're right but Las Vegas odds have them +- 4.5 games this year. Worst in NFL. They need a lot of pleasant surprises on the offensive line and at receiver to be competitive. They'll likely be underdogs in every division game.

They will. The Pat's were a tough team to beat last year... we were losing games by single digits. If the offense can just not suck, they don't have to be good, then the Pats are going to win more games.
We need over 5 wins and I will be happy
The only real reason Maye probably won't start the season is the unknown OL. The last thing you want to do is send your rookie franchise QB out there behind an OL that can't protect him for him to get injured. Until the Oline proves it's up to the task he won't start anf it's probably a good idea.
My favorite team since 1972. They will be lucky to win 5 games in 2024

Ya they are likely to be picking in the top ten again in 2025 but if Maye is the real deal the future looks bright
The offensive line is still a worry. They haven't addressed the LT position. They need to get a cornerstone LT for Maye

I'm thinking 7-10 this season. A definite improvement, but not yet a playoff team. The fans will be happy that the team is trending up.
As a patriots fan, That’s exactly what I was thinking as well. There are still too many question marks on this team, especially on the O-Line, the WR core, and in the secondary ad well, and regardless of whichever qb is started, it won’t make as much of a difference as to how this team will perform as this team is still rebuilding.
off season optimism is everywhere. you have to protect up front first, something that still needs addressing.
You kinda glossed over the line additions and assumed a lot. A couple of rookies and questions at tackle doesn't ensure they can block anybody. This has been the biggest issue for the Pats for years now. It's all moot if the line isn't good. There are still a lot of questions.
I am a NE'er transplanted to Charlotte. All this ballwashing is the same as we heard down here about the Panthers all last summer.
The OL has not be upgraded enough. This will be a challenging year.

Hopefully they will sit the rookie, get offensive line in shape , get top ten draft choice and draft a left tackle.
1. Saying QB was the only issue on last years offense is hysterical. Bottom 5 in Offensive Line ranking and Bottom 2 in WR separation.
2. This is one of the hardest schedules I have ever seen us face and we have a new Head Coach, New OC, new DC, new GM, and a new QB. I’d like for someone to show me one time where that equaled a Super Bowl win or even a playoff birth. We are in for trouble this year.
I think only Washington had a worse WR separation than New England last year. I hope they do not start Maye until they show their OL and WR room haas improved.

OMG! No #1 wide receiver. The left side of the OL was, is and will be again, abysmal. A rookie QB with bad footwork, a rookie coaching staff. Thats no recipe for success.

They didn't choose to go with Maye over Daniels, they didn't have a choice. Should get your facts right before making a video.

I would have gone Maye over Daniels for the fit. Maye was the #2 guy all of 2022 and 2023 until 3/4 the way through. Then Daniels jumped up.
Super Dacts if Daniel's was to not have been picked by Washington my Patriots would have definitely taken him, and the Pat's had surrounded there QBs with bad offensive Coordinators
They made it abundantly clear that they would’ve gone with maye had both of them been available. Daniels can run, but has a shaky passing game. Maye can scramble if need be and had a rocket arm with great precision. He was the clear better fit
No way, Pats are back to being strictly a regional team instead of a nationally relevant team.

7 wins. And pushing for the wild card spot is what i feel. But i think they will come out the gate 2-0 and 3-2 i. The first 5 games. There going to beat up the Bills this year, and split with the Jets and Miami. Thats 6 wins right there. We have to be a better home team that is for sure!
