I honestly thought we had found a franchise RB, but alas, he couldn't stop fumbling the fucking ball. Did lead to LaGarrette Blounts' legendary performance in the playoffs though.

As a Patriots fan, I took for granted the BradyvManning rivalry. Patton is an absolute class act. Hell of a quarterback. The back and forth between the two is legendary. I have nothing but respect for Patton.
This game gets completely overshadowed by the super bowl 51 comeback for obvious reasons, but it's actually more impressive a comeback. The broncos scored 600 points and Manning had his best season ever. Brady meanwhile had his worst team since 2006. Nobody scored 600 to this day even with the extra game. Brady came back and beat this team. GOAT

Also the year Aaron Hernandez happened, I believe. The fact they even sniffed the AFC championship with that roster should be a testament to Brady & Bill...I can't think of any quarterback that could've done anything remotely similar
@@waynetables6414 these last 2 names seems made up wtf
@@wgnd1614 they are kembrell Tompkins and Aaron Dobson but i add the word drop to their names because I’m being a hater out of nostalgia cus that’s what I called them back then
I feel genuinely sorry for anyone who didn’t watch these games between these GOATs live
If anyone ever wondered how bb felt about tom brady as a qb...the fact he trusted brady to get the ball back abd win the game shows he knew he had the greatest qb
But he had to punt…
@@fredodeucedeuce7020 evidently you don't understand the game...when coin toss was done ..they chose to let manning go first...why because he thought defense would make stop and Brady would go down and score or FG...the decision was made becayse of thst trust
@@vgb1328 or maybe he trusted his defense wouldn’t give up a td?
@@fredodeucedeuce7020 did I not JUST SAY THAT.....but since they don't score not giving up a td means brady has room to score ....let me give you and example of bb not believing in his qb...bucs play pats in 2021...pats 4 and inches to get 1rst down and maybe continue downfield to score...in stead bb kicked FG ..did not trust mac Jones...he hoped defense would stop brady..that did not happen...9 out of 10 brady was super clutch in those moments...
If he trusted him wouldn't he have elected to receive in overtime to drive down and score and not give the other team a chance?
One of the biggest differences between Brady & Manning.
Brady could win in the cold.
Manning was something like 5-19 when the temperature was below 40°
But the biggest difference is in forehead size. Peyton is 110% Pumpkin Headed while Touchdown Thom looks like he should be selling life insurance policies out of his mom's minivan.
Anyone catch the two photographers getting into a shoving match at the end of the game after the QB handshake lmaooooo
If I was a DEN fan that next morning after his gameI would have stayed in all day 😂.
Eh, it was the last time Brady beat a Manning led Broncos team.
@@fusionmedia4060actually, that would be the next season in the regular season.
@@mariosnum1fan Whoops, forgot about that game completely... I wonder why, lol.
This game one of the reasons Brady the GOAT.
Look at their OT records at this point.
Brady = 10-2
Manning = 2-6
Some of those wins were against the Jets so they should actually count as losses. Thom Brady and Billy goat Bellichink had the luxury of taking the taco ring against the J E T S so... Manning's Pumpkin Head comes out ahead here in the real reality brugh. You have just been red pilled son!!
@@jennyanydots2389 And Manning was in divisions with the Jags and Raiders. Who had the 27th and 31st worst overall records since 2000. So cry me a river.
@@Shatamx Calm down dude, I was making an unserious joke youtube comment... this isn't real life you know that right? You take social media too seriously.
This game was 10 1/2 years ago (late 2013). Let that sink in! 😳
Yeah as a Georgia bulldawg fan, I was wondering what year because of Moreno. Miss him at UGA. Glad he had a good game that night.
I have a panorama of Gillette stadium taken at this game hanging up in my room. The caption reads:
“On a cold winter night in Foxboro, one of the greatest games in the history of Gillette stadium was played. The patriots came back down 24-0 at halftime, recovering a muffed Denver punt in overtime and sealing a come from behind 34-31 victory.”
One of many reasons why Belichick is the GOAT.
Taking the wind in OT
Billy goat Bellychuck would be outta the league gargling mayonnaise without Touchdown Thommy putting all them rings on his finger. I heard he used to Rock Out with Lawrence Taylor back in his NYGiants days. Do ewe think Billy goat Bubbachuck will go back to the pipe now that no one will hire him ever again for anything in his miserable life?
Absolutely
@@jennyanydots2389Haha 😂
Aside from the obvious reason this game was remembered. It also unfortunately ended Steven Ridley's career. It's kinda crazy to remember, but Ridley had the seventh highest rushing total in 2012 and 3rd most rushing tds with 1200 yards and 12 tds, respectively. I honestly thought we had found a franchise RB, but alas, he couldn't stop fumbling the fucking ball. Did lead to LaGarrette Blounts' legendary performance in the playoffs though.
And in the end, they let LaGarrette Blount go after Super Bowl 51 which was a big mistake and he got his revenge a year later thankfully. - Steelers fan.
@@LiamDeegepats got him back though after Steelers and rode him to another Super Bowl pretty sure if memory serves. Blount is a seriously underrated rb in history.
As long time pats fan this only time I cut the game off at halftime went to school next day my friend said that's crazy y'all won I said wtf we won he said yea overtime I never cut a game off again 😂😂
This cannot be stated enough: That night was so dangerously cold. You'll never be able to understand from the video how bad it was. That wind was relentless. We were on the side of the stadium catching it, and we literally had to leave at 3rd quarter because my GF at the time was struggling to breathe. I don't know how these guys play football in it... good news is we beat the traffic home and got to watch the end of the game. Legendary comeback by Brady and the Patriots.
As a Patriots fan, I took for granted the BradyvManning rivalry. Patton is an absolute class act. Hell of a quarterback. The back and forth between the two is legendary. I have nothing but respect for Patton.
9:27 Gronkkk is a monsterrr, ate the safety’s shot and carried 2 guys into the end zone. He scored there.
That sport of football was awesome! Hope someday it comes back.
23.30 lookbat the media blokes pushing each other 😂😂
Bill said I'M TAKIN THE WIND, that's why you a legend Bill
This game gets completely overshadowed by the super bowl 51 comeback for obvious reasons, but it's actually more impressive a comeback. The broncos scored 600 points and Manning had his best season ever. Brady meanwhile had his worst team since 2006. Nobody scored 600 to this day even with the extra game. Brady came back and beat this team. GOAT
Manning was horrendous in that Seattle SB that year ~ 8 points
We were so blessed to watch this rivaly .
I was at this game, it wasn't the coldest temp wise, but it was bone cold with the wind, a lot of people left for that reason... the atmosphere felt like it was the super bowl towards the end, what a game.
The wind was in their heads on both sides. Nothing worse than wind plus cold. Fluky plays all day. Belichick's call to take the wind, big balls, best game manager of all time.
And that was the last time anyone saw Ridley in an NFL game ever again.
He was playing afterwards, but didn’t get that same amount of attention as before
Blount took his spot once they were able to acquire him from Tampa. And Shane Vereen and James White were the pass catching backs at that time
@@mariosnum1fan I'm almost positive this was his last game, Blount was already on the team, you see him on this video after the fumble that was it for Ridley, he was a health scratch the rest of the year and out of the NFL soon after
@@rgonz81 Ridley played that Steelers saints game in 2018. I know this because it was the infamous clip where he slammed his helmet on the bench and got hurt
Remember this game like it was yesterday! 🤯🤯
Tom Brady Is The Greatest Quarterback Of All Time🐐With 7 Super Bowl Rings💍💍💍💍💍💍💍
Would you also say Russell is the greatest of all time with his 11 rings to Jordan's 6? No, you would not. 😅
🥩 Ryder!?😂
23:28 photographer beef lololol
I was at this game, was crazy crazy cold, that night. friend and I almost left at half time but I just had a feeling, so I told him lets wait one more drive....and then we ended up staying the whole game. What a game!
I'm still pissed off Brady couldn't connect with Edelman on that last 3rd and 9 to go up 35 - 24 and ice it... What a play that would have been
Tom brady is the greatest of all time
How old are you, boy?
@@AlbertoGrigoliniold enough to tell you to shut your mouth
That is just a hard fact. Im a die-hard 49er fan, and Joe was the goat forever, but after witnessing these era of greatnesshands down, brady is #1.
@@4six3 In the phisycal-era, the qb-leading-job was much harder
@AlbertoGrigolini i agree but what he did in a more intelligent faster and stronger game was unique tonits time. Brady is the GOAT like Jordan is the Goat
When talking about
Tom Brady,
Payton Manning should not even be mentioned in the same sentence.
There isn't a quarterback that comes close to
Tom Brady's success!
Ahhhh, the good old days...before the divorce!!!
Peyton Manning leads the Houston Oilers to a multi touchdown lead. There’s no way the Oilers are gonna lose this game. Right Warren Moon?
The steady tense music really adds another element to this
We will always miss the Horsepower of New England in the Tom Brady era. You always felt and knew you could and generally would win no matter what the score was or how little time was left. This game, the Super Bowl against the Falcons, etc…
Great game
There will never ever ever be another Peyton Manning and Tom Brady matchups like this again in the NFL but I miss it 0:30

The thing I liked about Tom Brady is when he's down with only two minutes on the clock, you could never count him out
This is why Manning is the Goat he let Tom win to continue his “Goat” legacy
This is the best game I’ve ever been to of any sport
When greatness meets greatness they start to look normal
What a showdown this was. Brady Manning rivalry at it's best!
And Denver would go on to get destroyed in the toughest Super Bowl I’ve ever had to endure. Miller jersey removed at halftime
It's sad the Broncos lost the way they did, I rooted for Seattle because they had never won a championship until that day, but I do feel bad for the Broncos losing in such horrible fashion. It's because of that onslaught this is possibly the 2nd worst Super Bowl of all time or so.
Broncos getting killed in the SB. Tail as old as the Patriots ironically. Both teams suffered humiliating SB losses in the 80's and 2010s.
I'm a die hard pats fan but I gotta admit for a couple years Von Miller, especially his Superbowl win year 2016, was unstoppable. He was sacking everyone at will, It was crazy to watch.
I miss Brady 😢
20 of last 21 games won and 143+ point differential is crazy
That call to defend against the wind is honestly epic
Love the intro!🎉🎉🎉
Ultimate bragging rights at school the next day over this one. Always over Manning. To think we had the Malcolm Butler game later in the year too is crazy. Go Pats.
That Malcolm in the middle play was scripted brugh. That whole Bowl Game was RIgged Up.
