Speaking from experience, these maje your life easier ! No blind spot, if your window's wet, you can still see in it, if there's freeze on it or it's durty, just whipe the camera wuth your finger, you see better at night and you can't get blinded by these Model Ys headlights
If its a SUV give me a big side mirror, hate those small screens

@@achaz_ just googled the ioniq 5 and yeah those look better but the camera extends soo much as if you already had big mirros. Either way peoples wallet will decite their fate.

I kinda disagree. It’s not that expensive considering the class of Lamborghini Urus & Range Rover it’s in, actually it costs slot less;) It’s also not that heavy weighing not much more than a „non-EV“ SUV of this kind. And it doesn’t feel like some Chinese products of the past, it feels British/German somehow😅

I would argue the driving experience of an urus is much more special and worth the price , as this lotus will likely depreciate horrendously. 2.6 tons is only reasonable by the unreasonable weight of EVs . This thing probably does Sub 2 miles per kwh 😕

Lotus should increase the S model from 603 HP to 700-720 HP for those who want more than the base 0-60 in 4.5s but don't need top of the line performance model, similar to how porshe does. Having the base model and S be the same HP is not ideal.

I am not yet convinced about purchasing an electric vehicle at this time. The extended charging duration, comparable to that of a mobile phone, presents a significant inconvenience for me.

I thought so as well when I first heard about the car, but after driving it I think this move is one of Lotus best lately. The car has an incredible quality and design in its details and still handles sporty and therefore feels a bit like the Lotus from the past. Also the turning heads factor is still there and will be even bigger with the Emeya. If Lotus gets new customers with this to earn money and still continue cars like the Emira then I am totally fine with it. I was stunned how Lotus could make this car directly competing with Porsche & Lamborghini in terms of quality and ride capabilities.

No, just 600 electric motor hp is not equal the same ice figure as the electric motor is almost constantly delivering this amount while the ice does in only a narrow max prm range. That is why if even the figures seems the same on paper but in really the electric motor will be much more powerful in real life applications
How much of this is really made by Lotus? Looks like another Chinese "Luxury" electric car that will catch fire in a year.

Unfortunately we don’t have the time to do full range tests every time. But in the upcoming weeks there will be range videos coming again👍
I did range test myself I managed 510KM of range across 2 days of usage
100 - 200 is faster than my Tesla Long Range 😵

@@luciussander8217the RS6 is slow and heavy, in this case I’d really prefer the EV. Until you tuned it up to 1000hp at least - it’s a no-go. Go buy a Mac 720s and do a stage 2 to it at least - then you may claim something against the EVs

The interior quality isn't that astonishing if you're used to Chinese EV's (which is what this essentially as, it's a rebadged Zeekr)
I've sat on this and a Zeekr 001, and the quality is not too different tbh. Even though the Zeekr costs 1/3 as much
When measuring from 100 to 200 km/h, it is better to press the accelerator at 60-70 km/h☺️
Pretty stupid that they didn’t make a hybrid version too, especially when they're launching a new line of SUV.
