Glendale 5th Alarm Commercial Fire

At 11:25 this morning the Glendale fire department along with the Glendale police department responded to the 700 block of Salem for a reported commercial structure fire. The first arriving units found heavy smoke showing from a large one story commercial building. Firefighters immediately began defensive operations since there is fire through the roof. As of this time additional units have been requested to the scene and all units are staying outside of the building and defensive posture. There are no injuries reported at this time.

Burbank brought out a couple of their 'old timers' in T11 and E11. Those things gotta be 20+ years old...and still going strong! Do you know if those are spares or still front line?

Both reserve rigs. E11's frontline rig is a KME and T11's TDA is a later model Seagrave. Also, the newer rigs have an all red paint scheme.
