Another example of how organized the LAFD method of attacking fires of this nature. The Task Force concept was built to address this kind on industrial building fire.
Look at all those tents!! Firefighters have to work around them.....shame on the government for not cleaning up homeless. Maybe mayor is hoping tents burn? How awful
Wow....lot of fuel to that fire. Very stubborn. I see the surround and drown tactic is being employed. What a mess. That's a total loss and good thing no firefighters were on the roof. No audio on this to find out where this fire is?
What is the name of the business and what was stored? Any chemicals? When I search Ian Long's business in building and this vid, all I come up with is Ian David Long identified in 2018 ss active shooter at Thousand Oaks bar.

Directing a fire stream into a ventilation hole defeats the purpose of cutting it in the first place. Underwriters Laboratories research the effectiveness of exterior fire streams that pass through openings in a structure fire and determined that the water column of a fire stream will entrain a massive amount of air as it enters the structure. UL also determined that the greater the distance is between the nozzle and the opening the greater the amount of air and oxygen the fire department introduces to the inside atmosphere of a structure fire. One estimate claims that as much as 15,000 CFM of air is entrained from just one fire stream. That’s equivalent to approximately 110,000 gallons of air per minute. The fire stream from just one ladder nozzle only delivers about 500 gallons of water per minute. On balance this fire stream application is actually feeding the fire more oxygen than water which actually improves the fires ability to burn. Chief Hughes Battalion 1 (retired) Chicago Fire Dept.
I’m in NC & the homeless we’re staying in this old restaurant & some how it caught on fire 🔥 they claimed the homeless started the fire but I believe they wanted them out so you know the rest … Hats off to these firemen they are the true Hero’s 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Seems those poor homeless aren’t aware of the magnitude of this fire!! I surmise if it gets worse the fire dept or police will have them move their belongings!!😢
Rookies. FDNY would have had 6 tower ladders a few plain ladder trucks about 20 engines and 100 FFs 😂😂😂😂 jk this fire was def a lost cause from the start
The members have to take breaks, you try wearing the coat boots air tanks and tools in the heat and see how you feel. I have 5 firefighters in my family and they work HARD!
They did an incredible job in the tight area they had to work in.
The building bunrt to the ground. That is considered a good job in the US?
Those firefighters on the ladders must be exhausted holding that high pressure firehose 💪 Good coordinated effort!
I believe the nozzle is fixed to the top of the ladder, kudos to the best fire fighters in the world
You are joking, right?
seriously? they're mounted to the ends of the ladder, yo. There's barely any exertion needed to hold them on target
😂😂😂😂ur Florida smart those aren't hoses 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Some tillers have water pipes and the nozzle attached. Some they have to attach the nozzle at the top and run 3 inch line up to the top
Man! what a great job covering up the the park cars to lessen the debris damage.
Great job! They even covered the cars in front of the building!
May god protect all the firefighters and officers.
I pray for officer killed on January 6 terrorist attack on America by Donald trump's
@@Steve-cu1yeHow do you not know that the Three Letters guys infiltrated that and made cause with their implants by now?
Firefighters, officers, and citizens, we pray for your health and safety. God's immense Protection for you. 🙏
Great job firefighters!!❤

Uhhh 🤔 right where the homeless are. I find that to be very strange to say the least.
Was good the shell of the structure was made of nonflammable material so it kept it contained within!!
it's cool they cover the 2 cars

What is burning? That’s a lot of fire 🔥
That's a lot of water.A once beautiful building.
Burly! After that textile blaze yesterday.
The homeless tents better get moved asap!!!!
Interesting all those homeless staying in place while firefighters fight the fire and walk right next to them.
They started the Fire

the building is in the fashion district in downtown L.A. It's most likely a sweatshop where they produce clothing. Lots of fabric.
It says K&Crafts on the right but not sure whether these companies were still in there?

Was on 4th and san pedro?
Wonder if they have access to the back of the building where most of the fire is located??
And that is how parking lots are made.

Does LA own a tower ladder?
It looks like just non plumbed tillers but I’m too lazy to google
Arson ? it was clear the building was fully involved when the FD arrived. They did well to contain it.

Zak Holman camera news nice
How has there been no live chases uploaded recently
Some day a real rain will come and wash all the scum off the streets….I bet one or two of those homeless know how the fire started.
Where is engine 51 and Captain Stanley?
Thats why i dont want to live in those buildings that are over 50 years old...
Business fail they will torch it for the insurance money
Given the trash camping on the sidewalk likely all the building is worth.
😂😂 and the homeless don't move their tents . The firemen probably told them get away.
Rosa muchos gana verte vemos venir cormingo fiesta vente😂😂❤
