Before you apply pre-emergent, cut your lawn short so the graduals will get all the way down to the soil.
After you apply the pre-emergent, water your lawn so the graduals will absorb into the ground.

In this short video, I teach how and when to apply pre-emergent herbicide to your lawn to prevent weeds from germinating and taking over your yard. LESCO is very effective weed control and crabgrass preventer. It's really simple to apply and we can totally do this!! If you are in the DFW area or a similar climate and you haven't yet put down your pre-emergent, grab the supplies today and get started. And remember to do it again in March or early Spring!
