Ryane to the Rescue
Приєднався 24 лип 2021
Hi there! I'm Ryane. Life threw me a huge curveball in 2021 when my husband unexpectedly died. I found myself in the uncharted territory of managing my house, car, yard, banking, insurance, and so much more. The learning curve was steep but I was determined to conquer each task as it presented itself. Many times women don't know how to do tasks like replacing a float in the toilet, putting oil in the car, or changing the A/C filter. It is my hope and my mission to empower women to master new skills and have pride in their accomplishments! So grab some tools, roll up your sleeves, shake off your perceived limitations, and join me in learning something new!

In this video, I teach how to fix a door that rubs and won't close all the way by sanding it down. I used a Black + Decker corded sander and course grit sand paper. Then I finished up the job by painting the rubbed off place. It was an easy fix but so satisfying since the door had been rubbing for a long time! I hope you find this video helpful!

"Sawdust is my glitter." Too Cute!
Hello Ryane, I just purchased my Ryobi PCL 424 router and I was in need of a “crash” course on how to operate it. Thanks to your detailed instructions, I have entered the wonderful world of wood routing…Thanks again!…😊
I am just starting out with this, and I appreciate the safety tips thank you
Great tutorial! Wondering if you would post one on resawing wood. I’d like to reduce a 2x5 and make it a 1x5. Thanks in advance for considering 😊
Hello ryan A new subscriber here i was looking for videos on how to operate ryobi router and use bits. Thank u for making it so simple ❤ please share with how we can make some baseboard trim with that router and which bit to use. Baseboard trims are very expensive specially if u want to do your she shed all by yourself 🤦♀️🙃
Welcome aboard! Thanks for subscribing! And thank you for the video suggestion. Best wishes on your “she shed”! You can do it! 💪😁💕
You’re just too cute!🥰
Thank you! 🥰
Thank you so much! I accidentally dropped one earring of the very first pair of earrings I received in my life. Panicked and googled and yours was the first video to show up and I successfully retrieved it!
Oh hallelujah!!! I’m so happy you got your earring back!! 🙌🏽 And that you did it yourself!! I’m proud of you!! 🤜🤛
The one you threw away is for sinks.
I was going to say the same thing, especially if you have annold sink with a 1 1/2 inch opening. LOL
You’re amazing Ryane! I wouldn’t have had a clue what to do and now I do!
Yippee! 🙌🏽 We’re all in the process of learning!! 😄
Thank you so much for creating this wonderful vdo
Well, thank you so much for saying so! I’m glad you found it helpful!😄🙌🏽
Well, thank you so much for saying so! I’m glad you found the video helpful!😁🙌🏽
You might also check that the screws in the top hinge are not simply the cheap 1 inch screws that came with the door. Using a longer screw (like 3 inch) can better anchor into the framing studs and possibly pull that door into proper position.
Thank you so much for that suggestion! I appreciate you sharing that tip here so that we can all learn together!🙌🏽
Thank you! This was great.
You’re welcome. Glad you enjoyed it! 😁
Just a tip. If you angle the plunger first so it fills up with water, you won’t get any backsplash.
Oh that’s a GREAT tip! Thanks for sharing!!😁💕
Thank you it is great to learn these things as a woman living on my own I have been doing a lot of diy myself
Good job!!! Yes, it’s very empowering to do things for yourself!!!💪🏽💕
Thank you!
You're welcome!
You can also simply use a block of wood and a rubber Malloy and tap the frame itself. At times frames swell and or shift. Sanding the door works yes
Excellent tip!! Thanks for sharing!! I love simple fixes!!!!!
Yay! Thank you! I stepped on the strap of my camel leather or pleather flats - just the day before I had thought to myself, what if these shoes break? Weird! They’re probably my favorite and now I need to fix them!
I’m glad you found my video and I hope it was helpful! Were you able to fix your shoes?😊

I’m sorry I don’t understand the question. If your washer fluid is concentrated then you would need to follow the instructions on the bottle about diluting it. 😊👍

I have a different Ryobi table saw that I’ve had for about 8 years and have never used it. After watching your video you e given this 62 the courage to work in those projects I want to do and my main thing was how to attach the blade guard assembly. Even though mines is different, I hope I can follow your directions to install the guard. Thank you so much.
You can do it!!!! 🤜🏼❤️🤛🏼
Thank you so much!!!!!!
You’re welcome!! I’m glad it was helpful!! 🙌🏽⭐️
Just got my Ryobi yesterday and was looking for something like this! Your presentation is so good and very informative. No nonsense before, just getting to it! I love it!
Thanks so much for the feedback and I’m glad you found the video helpful! Enjoy your new table saw!
@@ryanetotherescue I had a question and I apologize if you have discussed this already, but in the manual for the RTS23 pg 21 it talks about changing the Riving Knife positions. When you took the blade off, you talked about putting that back on and tightening it, but in my manual it’s not about tightening it, but a different position. Up being for through cutting and down, being for non-through cutting. Would love to hear your thoughts on this or a link to where you might have already done this. Thanks in advance!
Great vid
Thanks! Much appreciated!
You blinked about 50 times in a 36 second time period. Idk if it’s contacts or just the eyeliner but you gotta quit using it.
I knowwwwwwww!!! I blink like a war prisoner trying to give a message through Morse code!!!!! I think it’s a combo of habit, nerves and contacts! 🤷🏻♀️ This is an old video. I think I’ve gotten a ‘little’ better with experience. Feel free to give me feedback on one of my more recent videos. Thanks for your suggestions. I’m a work in progress!🤪
Yeah, I STILL blink a lot!!! I’ll try to work on that!! Thanks!! ☺️ ua-cam.com/users/shorts2vOv92nu8ew?si=KCY8UIAQU0iXau38
@@ryanetotherescue nah your fine 😂 looks like you cut your blink rate in half only about 40 times in a one minute video, can definitely tell you’ve worked on it lol
@jordanpoor8006 yippee progress! 🙌🏽🥳 Maybe someday I’ll blink like a normal person! 🤪
Its more fun to saw them 😅

THANK YOU!!!!
You're welcome! And thanks for watching!!
wonderfull!!!!
Thank you! Happy woodworking! 😁👍
Thank you for your helpful video. It gave me the confidence to remove the cover and find the engine did NOT need replacing but just a cleaning. You saved me around $20 - $40 for a part (for now) & taught me a useful skill (priceless).❤
Fantastic! Glad to hear it! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment!🥰
Do I need to be certified to do this for other people
I wouldn’t think so if you’re just hosing it off from the outside. 😊👍
be careful when buying a ryobi router ........the collar sticks and is hard to remove. check it at the store before buying. i bought one and the collar WOULD NOT come off. --even the men at the store could not get it off except to stand on it and pull up!!!!! as i was exchanging it for a second one a lady who had bought one previously said they were notorious for the collar being very hard to remove.
Wow, thank you so much for the heads up! I haven’t had any trouble with mine, but your comment may be helpful to some other viewers. Thank you!
@@ryanetotherescue you are welcome...the router i bought was probably made on a monday or a friday

Sorry, lol.😉
Excellent video. Why the costume ? Still, an excellent video.
Thank you, I appreciate it. 😊
You could have used the speed square as a guide edge for a perfectly straight cut. Just saying.
Yes, thanks. I do use it sometimes. 😊
Do I turn the AC off.
No, you don’t have to turn the A/C off first. 😊👍
Thanks for video. Could also protect leather from glue preemptevely with some coating like vaseline, so it doesn't stick.
Thank you so much for sharing that suggestion!🙌🏽
Just did this yesterday. I highly recommend removing the side panels for greater debris exposure. Also, take the fan off and vacuum out and debris that may have collected on the bottom of the inside. Can also blast water from the inside out on the coils that way as well.
Thank you for all those suggestions! I’m going to do a more thorough cleaning from the inside at some point. But for a quick clean the outside spray down does a good job.😊
love you. thank you.
Awwwwwww thank you!!!!🥰 Love you too!!!

Great advice! ❤
Glad you think so!
looks like the b&d has a similar afs to the gh3000 that I have. It's been nothing but a headache since I bought it with the feed system constantly malfunctioning and refusing to work, and the replacement heads seem prone to breakage. I'd avoid the b&d afs at all costs.
I bought a new B&D shortly after this video. It’s simple and lightweight and works like a champ! I like it a lot and I’m going to get rid of my EGO one.
Is not possible on BMW E60

The best video I have seen for this Ryobi router! Thanks
Thanks, I really appreciate your comment!!😊
thank you!!
My pleasure!😊
I have not seen anyone like you in the comprehensive explanation.. Very useful, please give me the purchase link.. With my heartfelt regards.
First of all, thanks so much for your kind comments on my video. I’m so glad you found it helpful! Second, I have no idea why but Ryobi does not offer this exact model anymore. I can’t find it anywhere!! But you could use this link to buy the router without the dust collector attachment. www.amazon.com/dp/B071V2XFS8/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_JQZ9PZM17H1SAVE15G63?linkCode=ml2&tag=ryanetother0c-20 And then, here is a dust collector you can purchase off Etsy. I don’t know if it works well. If you purchase it and use it, I’d love to have your feedback on how it worked. I think the other viewers would like to know as well. www.etsy.com/listing/1620073827/custom-dust-adapter-for-ryobi-p601
