You can take the PBI survey too, or just see what the questions are: skylark.ucl.ac.uk/NSHD/lib/exe/fetch.php?media=mrepo:parentalbondinginstrument.pdf
Hi Annette!! Text book lower left quadrant. Don’t get me wrong, I love my parents but growing up they were extremely critical, cold and strict. Perfectionism 💯. Doing better now thanks to you and pimple patches. Love those things! And I still haven’t put the mirror back in my bathroom 😆. Take care and keep making videos! ❤
Hi Annette! I want you to share my story,I bought your book several years ago about skin picking, probabily after this video I will read it again. Nowadays I do cognitive-behavioural therapy and I'm diagnosed with a CPTSD... I think my mother was like more in the spectrum of affectionless control, she was very sick (she is schizofrenic) and she one day she forced me to sit in my chair to repet to perfection for an oral exam I had in middle school and due to this I began doing skin picking😅 even though my mother was very neglectful I remember she was always telling me to stop doing it like as your mom did...
I’m having a hard time deciding where my parents fall on the protection scale. I feel like my mom my have over protected me in some ways, but they also always let me try whatever I wanted to try.
Hi Amanda. Thanks for your comment. I just added a link if you want to actually take the survey and score it yourself. Here it is: skylark.ucl.ac.uk/NSHD/lib/exe/fetch.php?media=mrepo:parentalbondinginstrument.pdf
