Sub-Zero's voice actor? I think he's the best after Raiden's VA. I also like Kitana's, not insanely good but I could actually listen to a woman with such a voice. And I feel like Kung Lao's VA really fits both his look and attitude.
Soyna's "sacrifice" doesn't even save earthrealm. Kronika just rebuilds the castle 2 seconds after they leave.

I think Ronda did decent at best. Some of Sonya's intros cringe me cause of the voice acting, but hey at least it's freaking better than Dimitri Vegas.
I suspect the whole Dimitri Vegas thing is a setup to make Rounda look-... sorry, *sound* better.

Tbh Ronda would have been better for just motion capturing and modeling for Sonya rather then voice acting. They should of gotten the previous VA or the MK9 VA to do Sonya's voice while Ronda motioned captured the moves.

NRS is so damn inconsistent with their voice actors. They replace some, keep others, for no real reason it seems. Like Patrick Seitz found out he was replaced for Scorpion when the reveal trailer dropped. Karen Strassman got shafted for liking posts the President liked and they weren't even that bad. It's real shitty how they seem to treat their MK voices.

My problem with Ronda isn’t her voice. It’s the fact that they are unable to get her back for voice overs and are reduced to recycled dialogues for Sonya, and it’s PAINFULLY obvious.

Finally someone points that out. Seriously MK9, which to me is putting it lightly, was probably the first game where it felt like everyone was being unreasonably and uncharacteristically dumber than the rest of the games and MKX and especially MK11 made it so much worse. I’m just convinced NRS just likes to forget like hell and back what their characters can do in so many occasions it would be about as long as a high school essay because there are so many instances throughout MK9 to MK11 where certain characters should’ve died or lived because of what we know based on powers in that instance like Kotal in MK11 Aftermath not using his *blood magic* in the fucking *Sea of blood* or Mileena not biting D’Vorah when she was about to get executed in MKX when she absolutely could’ve and taken D’Vorah down with her. The list just goes on and on

I had the same exact thoughts about Sonya's reactions in the story
Argh! In aftermath, she shows with casie and Johnny, who where waiting for sheeva’s army to show up to help storm the fortress, but instead get ambushed by sheeva’s people led by shao khan and a resurrected syndel.
They end up getting their asses kicked by both shao khan and Syndel and are captured, and that’s pretty much all they had for the cages family in aftermath.
I'm curious exactly what happened to them because they, along with Kitana, could be vital to the story if Shang Tsung's ending is canon.
