I noticed the timing difference, between the grooms exported from UE and exporting from blender (after tweaking), was 15 mins which is insane, that means you have done beautiful editing and all of other stuff in just fifteen minutes in real time. I just bought the source code and it doesnt work on my 5.4 project. Says "The following modules are missing or built with a different engine verson". Also iyt says it contains the 5.5 version but i havent seen it. Please Help

Freak'in awesome! Finally a way to edit and customise these MH grooms:) Is there a way to export the groom that is bound to a modfied headmesh? For example: I have modified the original headmesh and generated a new binding for the original hair. Can I export the hair with that specific binding?
If I understand your meaning correctly, it should not be possible. Do you mean to make the hair automatically change with the modified head mesh? This is not a feature of the Groom2abc plugin, it is a feature in the metahuman creator
I guess the feature you need is that the exported hair abc file can be automatically adapted to your modified head.I don't have any good ideas in this regard yet. But I believe there should be a solution.

I bought the plugin for UE5.4 and used it in UE 5.4.4 after exporting the hair and importing it into blender I found out that each hair is connected to another, i.e. the beginning and end of one hair are connected to all other hairs and so on with all hairs. also the hair does not stick to the mesh. I used blender 4.2 and it was a mistake. I downloaded blender 3.6 and imported the hair there then saved the project and made an append to my project in version 4.2 then made the head the parent of the hair selected the hair and went into sculpting mode, in the menu “curves” I clicked “snap to nearest surface” then added to the hair modifier geometry nodes “surface deform” and everything worked.

first question, you must add dependency modules to the uproject file, otherwise an error will occur when opening the project.Second question, I think this difference is caused by rendering, and the effect you see in Blender is not the rendering result.You can try to import the exported abc file back to the ue engine, then adjust the fur parameters in gropu des and set materials for the fur, and then observe the fur effect.
After you download the plugin, there is a depence.txt file inside, which contains the necessary dependency modules. You can copy it from the depence.txt file

Used blender 4.1 and 3.6 both same issue
