    If you encounter a project crash issue, you can try modifying your project path to an English path and using an English project name.For the correct effect, please use Blender 3.6.     You're absolute geinus.
    I noticed the timing difference, between the grooms exported from UE and exporting from blender (after tweaking), was 15 mins which is insane, that means you have done beautiful editing and all of other stuff in just fifteen minutes in real time. A lot of pro youtubers edit videos and cut the extra ling footages.
    Really impressed brother.

    I just bought the source code and it doesnt work on my 5.4 project. Says "The following modules are missing or built with a different engine verson". Also iyt says it contains the 5.5 version but i havent seen it.

      Sorry for the late reply, thank you for your comment. I have already emailed you back.I'll explain it again here, it will be helpful for others who see this comment later. For the source code, you need new a c++ project in your unreal project and recompied the addon. Ue5.3-ue5.4 can alse be compied in UE5.5.

      hi, did you mean that you can't load groom correctly in the engine and can only see cards? The exported abc in the video tutorial should not contain cards information, i am sorrry I didn't understand your question. maybe lod settings caused your problem

    Is there a way to export the groom that is bound to a modfied headmesh?
    For example: I have modified the original headmesh and generated a new binding for the original hair. Can I export the hair with that specific binding?

      If I understand your meaning correctly, it should not be possible. Do you mean to make the hair automatically change with the modified head mesh? This is not a feature of the Groom2abc plugin, it is a feature in the metahuman creator

      I guess the feature you need is that the exported hair abc file can be automatically adapted to your modified head.I don't have any good ideas in this regard yet. But I believe there should be a solution.

    I do everything exactly as shown here in the video, but in the dropdown list where you need to select the head mesh, in the UV map line - there is nothing to select. why could this be? blender 337

      hi,there, Not select the headmesh object. you should first activate the curves object and then find the settings in the curves property bar. Hope this help you, if you have any problem, please tell me

      Please watch the video carefully. First, select the exported curve type file and convert it to a curves type. Then, select the curves hair, and set the surface and uvmap in the curves properties bar. Finally,maintain selected fur status, convert to particle system. Hope this helpful@@jaywitch8074

      the problem is caused by blender version. please use blender 3.6

    I bought this plugin (for version 5.3). It doesn't work. Is this a plugin only for IOS? Error message: "Plugin 'GroomExporter' failed to load because module'GroomExporter' could not be loaded. There may be an operating system error or the module may not be properly set up." Can you help me?

      The GroomExporte plugin is only for windows, what operating system are you using? if windows, please check if your *.uproject was edit correctly. Modify uproject file like link hotimg.com/musEa

    Hi! I bought the plugin for UE5.4 and used it in UE 5.4.4 after exporting the hair and importing it into blender I found out that each hair is connected to another, i.e. the beginning and end of one hair are connected to all other hairs and so on with all hairs. also the hair does not stick to the mesh. How i can fix that?

      I used blender 4.2 and it was a mistake. I downloaded blender 3.6 and imported the hair there then saved the project and made an append to my project in version 4.2 then made the head the parent of the hair selected the hair and went into sculpting mode, in the menu “curves” I clicked “snap to nearest surface” then added to the hair modifier geometry nodes “surface deform” and everything worked.

    you typed in some stuff in the beginning, will it work if i don't type in those things? i exported the alembic and imported it into blender but when i imported the fuzz, it looked bad, the hair was going in different directions, although it had a similar shape, it looked different than in ue. Please help

      first question, you must add dependency modules to the uproject file, otherwise an error will occur when opening the project.Second question, I think this difference is caused by rendering, and the effect you see in Blender is not the rendering result.You can try to import the exported abc file back to the ue engine, then adjust the fur parameters in gropu des and set materials for the fur, and then observe the fur effect.

      After you download the plugin, there is a depence.txt file inside, which contains the necessary dependency modules. You can copy it from the depence.txt file

      @@vectorwang9632 when i export the hair from ue5, i import to blender and many hairs are connected to eachother so it looks weird, although when i take th exported file and check it in ue5 it looks fine, but i can't really edit the hair in blender, because i can't see what it looks like, it's all over the place, so editing it in blender is not possible for me.

      Yes. if you use ue5.3. you can buy only the ue5.3 compiled version. source code version contains sourc code. you can copilee source code on different engine version.compiled version contains only binary file. they have same features

      when you import the head, you should delete eye releated vertices and just keep face. step into edit mode, select a vertice and press "L", the "Ctrl + i" invert select, and delete. then set the surface and UV Map, and now enter scult mode to add groom
