Lucille Ball is an icon and her legendary work will never disappear. Her legacy will live forever through I Love Lucy, The Lucy Show and Here's Lucy. She only won 4 Emmys but should have been acknowledged more. Her popularity never waned and I think many in the industry were jealous of her.

Desi used to say that her daughter was "His best friend". But I have read a few quotes of her being cruel to her father's addiction. You know what I mean? Also, she recently said that she had finally been able to handle her emotions towards her parents... Being 71 years old!

Besides both Lucie and Desi Arnaz Jr. each inherited 10M from their mother, and inherited millions from their father when he died, since his wife Edith predeceased him. I think the Judge made the correct decision - Desi Jr and Lucie Arnaz should have contacted Susan Morton - getting the awards back to me was fair.

+ kevin chagnot - No way. After she and Desi divorced, she just wanted to be with someone she knew wouldn't cheat on her and/or humiliate her. Gary fit the bill. During the last ten years of her life, when Lucy was a virtual recluse in her Roxbury Drive home, , Gary was usually out all day playing golf, and Lucy was alone except for when her backgammon friends showed up at the house to play with her. Gary was grateful to Lee Tannen and Jim Brochu for filling her time playing her favorite pastime while he idled his time away on the golf course and at dinners with friends he never would have known had he not met and married the great Lucille Ball. In essence, he used her. Her backgammon friends made life so much easier for him to live his own life.
