Hi Marcus, I flew Eithad last May 19 with the same route, Paris-Abu Dhabi - Bangkok. No limitation for drinking alcohol on board, only no bottles display inside the on board bar . However, no alcohol was served at Etihad lounge in Abu Dhabi. (no problem in Paris).
Nothing like listening and watching a take off in the 380 !! I keep reading about the decline of the service on Etihad with whom I have flown many times as they try and get back into a positive financial position! Apparently in economy on some long haul flights they serve just the one meal ( very small) and you can buy extra food !! Think I will stick with Qatar in future!
I ll be flying Qatar J classs very soon, this will be my first time with them. Did u notice any differences with Etihad? (service, confort on board,..)? thanks
desertrose416 noooo you are completely wrong . Skytrax does not even have worst economy class category in their website. Etihad serves two hot meals and one sandwich and some snacks on its long haul flights like the one to Chicago and New York for example (I actually flew these routes with etihad in 2019)

The landing was very bad.
Skytrax rated Etihad one of the worst airlines for economy PAX. 1 meal on a 17 hour flight. I will pass.
