That's quite a recovery Steve, glad to hear a lost interview, whilst saddened by the news of Leslie West's passing a couple of weeks ago. We seem to be losing so many greats in music, and I suppose in all the arts. So once again many thanks for recovering this interview, a piece of history now sadly, but a timely one.

Always good to hear and see yas Steve.. You have done some amazing interviews over the years!! Thank you!!
I saw Mountain in Oklahoma back in 1971 for the first time and became
an immediate fan and tried copying his riffs. Bought most of his albums.
I was at the Palladium show. Free guitarist, Paul Kossoff was sick and they only played three songs and got booed.
“Crossroads” was written by Robert Johnson not Willie Dixon.
Eric Clapton has always made a very big deal about being influenced by Johnson.

Thank F Leslie did not decide to preach the gospel in Haiti. What a waste. I guess we all know about The Vagrants though, so kudos for that.
