Good question...this is my understanding.....I think the unconscious sleep is what we see from the physical realm, but the other side of it is the spiritual realm, and none eats or sleeps in that realm, always awake!!
@@sjolks , hi brother, thanks for your reply, but that doesn't jive with scripture. It says we are not conscious. I'm despairing in my search for truth. Six years now, and still confused. May God help me.I can't take much more.
A possible understanding of 1 peter 3: 18-22 . Jesus died as a man but defeated death (the resurrection)or was made alive by the spirit, and in so doing was sending a message of hope to the dead, which they of course are not hearing, as they are dead. 1 Peter 4:6 has meaning in Ezekiel 37: 13-14 I think.
@@ravenraven966 Rest my Bro. in God's rest, we are not required to have all the answers, God is much less interested in that than in our being in personal and intimate relationship in him. I suggest you check out Mike Parsons on youtube and I think he will be very helpful.
Wow, I'm halfway thru listening, I've been trying to accept these concepts. This is helping
Question, how could Christ have preached to those destroyed in the flood if death is unconscious sleep in the grave. Please answer
