took a couple of hours to get used to the MZ1 but after that, my aiming felt so effortless. The single worst mouse I've used, in terms of performance is the superlight. I used to play with the model o minus but chose to pick up the Superlight, which I found to be absolutely massive. I found that with a smaller mouse, I grip further back allowing me to aim with just my fingers for micro-adjustments, rather than my whole hand at once. I'd highly recommend people try a small mouse.
Glad whenever you release your preferences. As a fellow Tall (6'4") man with a huge head (The largest hat size at Grassroots California doesnt fit my head), your comfort recommendations usually ring true to me. Thanks for your work.
oddly enough the mz1 is my main. I spent a lot of time going through mice to find the right one as my hand is some what gimped from a dog bite. Got this on a whim even though it didn't look like it would actually work and since nothing else felt good and so glad I did.
I was going to buy a finalmouse last legend medium but after hearing about all of the qc issues I instead went with a Deathadder v3 pro and I'm so happy I did. Since I'm canadian the finalmouse would've ended up costing around $300, for that price the mouse should be beyond perfect so I didn't want to take that chance.
imagine me that for the SL12 Tenz after paying 70 euros for customs in Italy I had to send it back to America for repair (double click) and pay another 15 euros for customs :D
@@97andreaas I live in Iceland and got a Starlight which I had to send in for a repair. Now 6 months later it has 2 new issues (auto scrolls randomly and sometimes loses signal), hate myself for ignoring comments about qc issues
Just got my Aerox 5 Wireless. I need the additional button for my FF14 grind and the honeycomb style really helps since I tend to sweat a lot when gripping my mouse due to the fact that I live in Asia. I got 2 Ace as well in Valorant.
The Viper V2 Pro is pretty much my dream mouse, objectively great specs and subjectively great shape, super happy with it. Still would like to try a good mouse with an adjustable sensor some day, but other than that I welcome a break from The Search™ in regarding this particular peripheral. ✌

would be nice if you compared top mouses from like 5 and 10 years ago to see if there is any actual gaming difference as I feel like it became more of a spec sheet game nowadays.
Exactly what I think. Any of the top tier ones feel identical outside of the shape and buttons. It's really more about a design preference than difference in performance.
I have the Lamzu Atantis & the mini I also own the Finalmouse and i have to say the Lamzu Atlantis is my #1 gaming mice it just ticks all the boxes and the shape is incredible for claw!
they def gotta do something about the coating on the mz1, I had the same experience great mouse for aiming but the top of the mouse gets more slippy with some time on the mouse. grips would be nice. Great mouse tho couldn't recommend enough if it fits your hands
Really hope Xtrfy release an updated version of mz1w, with some latest tech applied on like 4k polling and newer sensor/motion sync . Especially the 4k. I'm rly addicted to it even for fact that it only make me "feel" better but not necessarily "play" better. That will be an insta buy for me.
Hey man, I love your reviews as always, the production quality will never cease to amaze me, but is there just no love for heavy mice in the market? I've always been able to land more precise hits with all the weights in my old old g502 than the new lighter stuff, and I just can't seem to get over this hill. Anyways, I really appreciate you mentioning that all the mice in the vid are going to be light at the start so I didn't have my expectations high.
Absolutely loved the MZ1's shape and overall feel but had to get it replaced within 2 months due to a defective left click and subsequently a refund after the replacement showed the same problems after 4 days of use. Super unfortunate that I couldn't keep using it. Edit for clarity: The issue I had could be loosely described as double clicking. When I held the mouse button down, I could slightly reduce the pressure I was applying and it would sometimes input another 7-8 times. This was easily reproduceable at 12ms debounce
@@papayaaa6033 As stated in my original comment, this was easily reproduceable at 12 ms debounce (the maximum for the mouse) which is pretty bad Edit: I've already severed the battery on my product and received a refund so I wouldn't be able to try anything new with it if I wanted to. I'll probably still give it another shot once I get more disposable income since it was by far my favorite mouse in terms of overall feel.
quick note on the LGG Saturn, I don't have the pro so it may be different, but to me the Saturn feels like a carbon copy of my g sr se deep blue. so if you dont like that pad don't buy it but if youre one of the many people disappointed by the new rouge the Saturn would make a good replacement for it imo.

I think we can safely say there’s little to no gain in jumping mice if you like the shape. We had a mini boom where everyone pretended to invent the wheel but now we are set.
Mouse innovations have come a long way the past couple of years, the gliders around the sensors and the wireless with close to no input are 2 upgrades I would like to make. Are there multiple versions of the new death adder or is plastic without rubber grip the only option for the latest release?
I'm starting to love the clutch aspect of my razor mouse, even though I've had it for a few years and didn't know about it. Now I want to find a mouse that maybe has more buttons on it, particularly one with a well placed button that allows me to engage clutch without taking away from my ability to use the mouse. I have the wireless Death Adder right now and the only button that makes sense for clutch is the bottom side button, but engaging it slightly compromises my grip of the mouse and ability to use it.
I dont think i fully realized how impressive the starlight mice were in terms of weight until the only thing close is basically half a mouse from g wolves

LGG Saturn hasn't left my desk since I bought it either and I used to swap pads near daily. Loved it with glass skates on the xm1r and loving it still with the lamzu and stock skates
idk man... hsk+ 4k/hsk pro 4k are insane. I had to switch to the hsk+ cause the pro is way too small for my hand, but plus feels great....might have to pick up the tenz tho, its pretty

Meanwhile for big hands over 23cm x 11cm it makes the hump be under the knuckles, otherwise you have to scrunch up your fingers way too much to make it be on the palm, but... gl if you have big hands.
Razer mouse are good with everything but duration. Had 2 razer mouses in the last 2 years, but both of them the wheel broke. I am not buying Razer never again

Bro, you too? I sent my wired Xtrfy MZ1 to RMA 2 weeks ago. Cord problems upon nearing 1 year of use. Xtrfy customer support was completely useless. Thankfully, the original store I got the mouse from issued a refund. Xtrfy never again. Lemme know if you find a good alternative. Cheers!
@izzyg8316 mine started its issues after about 6 months and became unusable after about 8 months. I'm quite picky when it comes to fingertip and claw mice, so I actually went the complete opposite direction and went to the wired razer deathadder v3.
When the deathadder came out people talked so much crap about it feeling cheap and what not. To this day I still use that same v1 I bought back in 2017 or 2018 at work and my home rig uses the wireless v3. Hands down the best mouse all around.
im really hyped for 2023, but couldnt care less because the lamzu atlantis just did it for me this year. its the first mouse since the sensei i grabbed a second copy of because i liked it so much and lo and behold, they are super similar im shape. i might get a xm2w when it releases in 2024 though.

I love the lamzu, but i’m very glad i got a copy of the final tenz, I use that daily, and the batterylife is beyond anything out there, it is truelly nuts. I have had a superbad experience with razer customer support so I am never ever going there again, but its hard to argue that they’re dominating the market.

Been looking for a new wireless mouse that's fully ambi (right side buttons) that's actually in stock and available. Market has been pretty dang dry since the Razer Viper Ultimate. Looks like I'll be waiting another year, oh well! Shoutout to Pwnage for their attempt with the Ultra Custom Ambi one.
What are we thinking Badseed? Is the MZ1 really going to stack up against the Asus ROG Harpe with its 650 IPS and DPI up to 36000 with less than .1% error? Is this all jargon and way over the top or should I take that stuff seriously?
ive used many of these... v2 pro, dav3 and others that arent in the list like outset ax, np01 and finally the gpx and i always find myself going back to the gpx i palm grip and i yet still couldnt get used to the dav3. gpx is just top of the line
I have bigger hands and I felt the grip on the deathadder was terrible. One of the easiest ways to check if your grip fits for a mouse is to just rest your hand on the mouse like you would when playing with it. Then pick your hand up, if the mouse doesn't follow without you having to pinch, it's gonna wear your hand out, not only do you have to pinch the snot outta the deathadder, it's actually difficult to even pick up. So even though I just tilt my mouse, very little I might add to readjust it, the deathadder felt horrible to play with for me. So def pay attention to your own preference and grip style.
1 used the glorious model O for over a year and I liked it a lot I dropped it and it broke. I'm looking for a similar mouse that's "better" any recommendations or do I just go with another model o cuz I really didn't have any issues. I just wanna know if spending money on a 2 year old mouse is worth it or if there is new that's better

Question arise the, Is it a shell problem or a switch problem?
You can configure the debounce time of the mouse which can solve that problem. Should be described in the manual if you care to try again

So I just bought a new PC, I haven’t been gaming since 2016 and my favorite mice back then were Zowie EC1 and Razor deathadder.
I have quite small hands, what would you recommend for me?
I loved my MZ1 but it's been having problems with random disconnects and their customer support was really bad. Looking for closest to alternative the pulsar x2 and mini look good. Would love anyone's input.
Bro, you too? I sent my wired Xtrfy MZ1 to RMA 2 weeks ago. Cord problems upon nearing 1 year of use. Xtrfy customer support was completely useless. Thankfully, the original store I got the mouse from issued a refund. Xtrfy never again. Lemme know if you find a good alternative. Cheers!
@izzyg8316 mine started its issues after about 6 months and became unusable after about 8 months. I'm quite picky when it comes to fingertip and claw mice, so I actually went the complete opposite direction and went to the wired razer deathadder v3.
@@fa-ajn9881 Hope that DeathAdder V3 treats you better than the Xtrfy MZ1 did.
When the deathadder came out people talked so much crap about it feeling cheap and what not. To this day I still use that same v1 I bought back in 2017 or 2018 at work and my home rig uses the wireless v3. Hands down the best mouse all around.
No Logi GPX Superlight?
im really hyped for 2023, but couldnt care less because the lamzu atlantis just did it for me this year. its the first mouse since the sensei i grabbed a second copy of because i liked it so much and lo and behold, they are super similar im shape. i might get a xm2w when it releases in 2024 though.
hmmm, I really liked the Steelseries Prime Mini. Surprised how it didn't make the list. My next choice of mouse would be DeathAdder v3 Pro, dying to try it out

on mouse, ripple check on or off? I use 800 dpi, in games 1600 dpi (valorant), I would appreciate your answer ^^
I have used the Pulsar X2 with the superglides and it is fantastic.
No grips with the Lamzu Atlantis? 🤔 I just bought the same exact blue/white one and it came with grips.
I love the lamzu, but i’m very glad i got a copy of the final tenz, I use that daily, and the batterylife is beyond anything out there, it is truelly nuts. I have had a superbad experience with razer customer support so I am never ever going there again, but its hard to argue that they’re dominating the market.
Is it good for claw?
@@tinocabral4201 the lamzu? not really, unless your hands are huge. the final mouse I can claw pretty comfortably.
@@MoonwiredI thought the lamzu would be pretty good for claw cuz it has a decent hump. I’d get the mini because my hands are just below medium but I have been looking at finalmouse. I just wish I could test them before buying them

What sensitivity do you find is the best for cod?
Been looking for a new wireless mouse that's fully ambi (right side buttons) that's actually in stock and available. Market has been pretty dang dry since the Razer Viper Ultimate. Looks like I'll be waiting another year, oh well! Shoutout to Pwnage for their attempt with the Ultra Custom Ambi one.

Is there a mouse with 3 side buttons or more on the left and right side simultaneously?
What are we thinking Badseed? Is the MZ1 really going to stack up against the Asus ROG Harpe with its 650 IPS and DPI up to 36000 with less than .1% error? Is this all jargon and way over the top or should I take that stuff seriously?
ive used many of these... v2 pro, dav3 and others that arent in the list like outset ax, np01 and finally the gpx and i always find myself going back to the gpx i palm grip and i yet still couldnt get used to the dav3. gpx is just top of the line
I have bigger hands and I felt the grip on the deathadder was terrible. One of the easiest ways to check if your grip fits for a mouse is to just rest your hand on the mouse like you would when playing with it. Then pick your hand up, if the mouse doesn't follow without you having to pinch, it's gonna wear your hand out, not only do you have to pinch the snot outta the deathadder, it's actually difficult to even pick up.
So even though I just tilt my mouse, very little I might add to readjust it, the deathadder felt horrible to play with for me.
So def pay attention to your own preference and grip style.
1 used the glorious model O for over a year and I liked it a lot I dropped it and it broke. I'm looking for a similar mouse that's "better" any recommendations or do I just go with another model o cuz I really didn't have any issues. I just wanna know if spending money on a 2 year old mouse is worth it or if there is new that's better
