You can actually get Larry's weapon if you have the blender book for beating story mode, I could be wrong but if you blend 2 kitchen knifes you can get Larry's weapon from the start of the game, and I think if you blend 2 hunting knifes you can get Cliff's weapon.

Fun Facts, The Father of the Hall family and Cliff in the OG was voiced by Steve Blum. The VA of Cletus was the Voice actor of Goofy in the OG. Kent has an Alternate version of his boss fight. Also, can I just say that Larry looks like Cooking With Jack, but Buff?

Hall family was changed in the remake . You can spare tommy adding a bit more depth to it .

The newly added magazine to increase gun firepower should have been the reward for taking down Cletus. Cuz there's absolutely no reason to otherwise, except to add his name to the notebook

@@CallumPotter-x4n yeah but he despawns later in the game anyway leaving it free to enter. Not to mention you can find guns elsewhere in the mall (except sniper which is meh anyway) and guns in DR aren't that great regardless

Adam is my absolute favorite just bc of how tragic and dark his story is. He was actually trying to protect the kids and he witnessed the zombies attacking them. And he just snapped. Dead Rising's characters are really interesting when you actually look into their lore

My thought is that the survivors were actually safe in the mall for the most part, then the Madonna incident screwed that up. Most of the adults were trying to make sure it was safe and clearing out what zombies were inside.
Wonderland Plaza was cleared out early, and many of the kids were there. Adam, not really feeling useful, was one of the adults keeping watch. So, he tried to lift spirits by doing his act. Perhaps Cliff was also there, a bit tense himself, but his granddaughter was amongst the kids, and she was definitely an emotional achor for him.
The Madonna incident changed that. The horde sweeped through, Adam, Gus, and Cliff were the only ones to survive that. But both Adam and Cliff were left absolutely traumatized by all the kids getting eaten

All the bosses are weak sauce honestly. I’m going through it one more time just to get the platinum, the laser sword and mega buster with the unlimited durability is so OP, literally 1-2 shotting every psycho. Even before that though, if you get a couple SMG’s and a couple katanas or the small chainsaw, everyone is weak asf. I’m guessing they were harder in the original game.
