This was the first game I tried to go for 100% for, and it’s one of my favourite games ever. Spamming R will forever be in my nightmares.

It gets even more immersive if you hook up the game to your Pottermore account. In the account they ask questions that determine your Wand, House, and Patronus. And when you enter the game it will be personalized for you.
The magical beasts were the highlight of this game for me. I loved interacting with, watching them play and listen to them. Niffler were my fav! so cute.
Yeah I was happy when I realized that the beasts were in the game. Love it

honestly the house tokens are worth the effort cause the outfit you get glows when you use spells, and with the ability to transmog, you can get to lvl 40, fully upgrade an outfit, and transmog to the house outfit.
Yeah the collectibles are not it.. I'm still trying todo the 100% on Steam

yea i had to do the merlin trials and collections on my fourth playthrough because it glitched the first three times until they fixed it. basically 400% the game lmao (im crying in the corner)

I only need the Hufflepuff and Slytherin map room achievements but the game doesn’t give me enough variety and replayability to bother doing them…

this plat was one of my favourites to do tbh, i enjoyed it minus the few bugs of some missions not spawning on the map until your right above them but all in all i'd say this plat was a 8/10 for me
Ya the amount of collectibles are insane. Wayyyy to many and still there are people that are having a glitch where they have got every single collectible but the game says they are missing 1 when they arent so they cant get the platinum and i still don't think there is a way to fix it. The other trophies thats a bit too much is not having to pick every house but having to make it to the map chamber as each house. Thats roughly 2 hours for each house. They should have given u the trophie for each house as soon as u pick it with the sorting hat in my opinion. I really enjoyed hogwarts legacy but ill never get the platinum for the game again, it isnt that its hard, just tedious if that makes sense

I will say I do wish Natsai Onai's quests were more interesting. I love how Sebastian's quests pulls you into the dark arts and how Poppy's quests allow you to interact more closely with magical beasts. But Natsai's quest did not feel different enough to me. It was more of the same as when my character goes on quests alone.
I was thinking it would be cool if her quests had more of a super sleuths element like putting clues together to solve a quest. It would also be cool if her quests had more challenging fights with a big ensemble of enemies and you could see her use wandless magic and transform into an animegus (her gazelle).
There could also be a team up element too. Natsai does a lot to protect the surrounding hamlets. In each quest they could bring a resident who has a special talent or developed magical skill who helps in these fights (like someone who has tonk's power could change their feature to look like an enemy and confuse them in battle. Or a resident could be dabbling in the dark arts and use different dark spells that we haven't seen before). It would all ad to the spectical of these fights and make for more interesting gameplay.
I think there were unexplored possibilities with her quests and we missed out on some cool stuff.

Fun fact that Follow the butterfly’s was a Referance to what Ron said, in the movie. Nice little Easter egg they put in as a side quest lol

The collections and hearing it’s bugged is what putting me off from buying this. I can’t find anywhere where it says it’s been patched or not.
i was worried about that too but luckily I didn't have any issues

As a trophy hunter with a little over 400k gamer score currently (Xbox) hogwarts legacy was definitely one of the most enjoyable as a avid Harry Potter fan especially as far as the 100% it’s a 1/10 extremely easy I’ve 100% the game on each house multiple times and I’ve gotten it down to 19 hours so far.
It’s a great game, especially for HP fans. Looking forward to another one in the future
Trying to platinum this game for me was painful and took several months because of burnout 😭
Also it’s kinda funny how my Slytherin character looks exactly like yours, except mine has glasses
It’s officially taken me 85 hours to Plat the whole game. The worst part was easily the clean up and finding every page and collectible. One page was glitched 😅😭

I really enjoyed Hogwarts Legacy. The combat with all the spells is so fun and there’s so much content in the game. However, I think the side quests in the different areas (not the character quests with Sebastian etc.) let the game down a bit. And the collectibles were quite excessive…

I have a love-hate relationship with this game. It's a good game and fun and magical and nostalgic and all that but some of the collectable challenges were over the top. Many of the dungeons were boring and tedious and LOTS of the puzzles were just too easy and stupid. Like we didn't need THAT many merlin trials given how easy most of them were to solve
Should I try this game? I like Harry Potter but usually only play competitive multiplayer games. Is it any better or switch or PC?

When playing this game, i turned off almost everything on the UI. It makes the experience so much more immersive. No minimap, tool icon, ancient magic meter, potion meter or spell icons.
Yeah its playing with a handicap but the game's honestly easy enough.

I’m a huge potterhead, I just find the game very repetitive and grindy. Most quests require certain spells and to get those spells it’s always “find 10 of these” or “kill 10 of these enemies” just doesn’t hit the same as the movies for me. It’s an unpopular opinion
I've beat the game twice and did a lot of this but not nearly all ... I can't imagine doing them all :/
I just finished it the other day and was stuck on using ancient magic on all types of enemies. So I had to list down every single enemie I encounter and use magic againt 😢 .. after that I was stuck with the last chest which was hidden in a vivarium 😤😤

You kept saying the combat was really easy but you were on the easiest difficulty. Turn up the difficulty and it will be harder.
@@Biriba2isGaming-fe7nd it’s easy on the hardest difficulty too. Nothing changes, except the enemies become even bigger sponges. I was so bored so I lowered the difficulty and the combat actually became fun
@@Trofees I was not trying to be rude I was just pointing out you could up the difficulty because you had said the combat was easy. The harder difficulties are not that hard either, but they do make it more difficult with shorter parry times and other things.

@@stephcuv This game is not difficult, even on the hardest difficulty setting. I tried playing it on hard, but the enemies were extremely tanky. It took forever to kill every little enemy, with no increase in difficulty, and I was bored.

Yep after awhile I became bored with the sponginess of the enemies. It became a chore to play because the enemies took too long to kill. Playing on a lower difficulty made the game fun again.

I am Harry Potter fan boy.

Started on normal until it got too boring since the enemies were so spongy and took too long to kill. Then lowered it a little and it became drastically more fun to play
