Italian Ricotta Cake with Chocolate Chips - NO FLOUR

  • Italian Ricotta Cake with Chocolate Chips
    This Italian ricotta cake with chocolate chips melts in your mouth. It's a mix between a cake and a cheesecake. The combination between chocolate and ricotta is amazing. I hope you give it a try.
    RECIPE:
    300 g ricotta (1 cup + 1/2 cup or 10.6 oz)
    90 g sugar (1/2 cup)
    40 g butter (3 tbsp)
    3 eggs
    50 g cornstarch (1/3 cup)
    1 vanilla bean pot and 1 tsp vanilla extract
    30 g milk (2 tbsp)
    80 g chocolate chips (1/2 cup)
    NOTES:
    - Use the same size pan as mine. This is the pan I used: amzn.to/32ICJgn OR you can buy the complete set of springform pans set: amzn.to/3AI8Klg
    - If the Ricotta you use it's wetter than the one I used, I suggest draining for a bit to remove the excess liquid.
    - Clean and dry well the whisks before whipping up the egg whites

    How much lemon zest to add and when? I think my grandma's had it in hers. I don't know the Italian spelling, but phoenetically it sounded like: bitza rouge lol ps. is there a way to print the recipe?

    I already baked it once and it was soooo delicious. My only problem was that the chocolade chips all travelled to the bottom. Now I try it again and make it a bit bigger so that my dad has a great birthday cake

      Coat your chocolate chips in flour before lightly mixing into batter

    Question: what size measures do you use, are they 20ml tablespoon or 15ml tablespoon / 250ml cup or 240ml ?
