Seems this is probably our 50th telehandler job this year alone lol and Alex has like 4 in the past 2 weeks I'll be uploading soon. What do you guys think is the issue with these always flipping over?? I can take a wild guess
@@EarnYaBonez So I've noticed. Has anyone rented these before that can chime in on if it's really like renting a U-haul or do you have to do any training first?
I just love how Josh and Alex can look at a job for a few minutes and formulate a game plan that 99% of the time works out perfectly. The other 1% requiring just some minor tweaks, no matter how difficult the job position seems to be. Another excellent job Josh.
I have 2 Telehandlers, but we are an Excavation Company so we have "Real Operators" that Operate them, not to say that it can't ever happen but that is why we always have a meeting and make a plan. Thanks for all of your great service to the industry!!
Curious, what kind of training do you go through? As in, does the manufacturer offer courses, are there national courses to take, etc? I do feel operator error is such a high cause of these accidents with many being preventable.
@@PepesTowingService We have to be a certified forklift operator even if you put forks onto a Bobcat Loader, I am sure that there are courses for operating the Telehandlers but we work in Marin County (North end of the Golden Gate Bridge) area with lots of hills and Deer trail streets. We have seen on these jobsites that people just put Somebody in the Rental Telehandler and they do their thing but that is not how we do our thing, I try my best to run it like a professional operation, our trucks shine like yours and we even wax the tractors. About 4 years ago a drilling company had a Rental Telehandler fully extended and the boom went down the hill 415 Belvedere Ave. Belvedere, CA , Diego Towing had to remove the boom to salvage the machine and return it to Ahearn Rentals. You look good and work professional, be safe out there, Don
@@PepesTowingService And as far as I know there are online courses but they don't really know anything about where we work. I sent our Boom Truck Operator to Class in Sacramento and that was hands on to be certified.
Another superbly technical job Josh, again great to have you back! I've got the Insta360 GO 3S as well, such a dope little camera! It has its recording limits however the footage is so crisp! Incredible for such a small camera.
Isn't it? I made the mistake of recording on the hat at first and didn't like the sudden head movements. I wouldn't use this as a primary but it absolutely will be used a ton in my videos. Boom cam, back up cam, cool chest POV. I love it
Josh and Alex you an your whole crew are amazing and I can't forget your dad Josh. You have a amazing company and some of best equipment. I love seeing Big Fliper in action as well as See hulk in action GOD BLESS YOU FOR WHAT YOU DO.
The video and sound quality was great. You and your team also did a great job as always. 🖒🖒🖒 To your question, its the lack of training of the operators of the equipment.
They don't and aren't interested in that. You sign off that operation is your responsibility and if you screw up they can come after you for the full value of the machine. If they were to approve operators then the liability for issues would shift to them. This is better for the rental companies.
Seems like a lot of folks that failed high school physics classes ended up in the construction trades. I know from experience, when asking anyone on a jobsite if they know how to operate a forklift, everyone replies "yes". No joke.
Some "Operators" of rental equipment seem to be "less aware" of what they are doing. It's an epidemic throughout many industries. Word is spreading on who to call for these. Nice work getting that thing out of there. That microcam is pretty sweet. I'll have to look into one.
This might sound weird but I’ve been watching your videos in order to cope with a recent break up and tbh I’ve learned so much so far. I always see landoll trailers around Houston and think Pepe’s is better he has three axels. As well as when I see containers I always say to myself “ I hope that container is locked in”
Best way to get over an ex is to envision her getting rawdogged by a bunch of her ex's or imagine her in a room with a group of guys around her getting sucked off one at a time. Sounds weird but hating them is the fastest way to move on.
My first thought when the video started was what a dismal place to live. Then I saw what you were up against and thought what is he going to do. As always your analysis was good, things went well in spite of the hurdles you faced. The video was on my pc but not the TV so as far as I was concerned the video was great. I appreciate the work you put into these videos. Hope that you don't lose interest and the keep going forever. Bruce the Boomer
Lose interest? Hellllll no I live for this. Having Alex being able to do this stuff too sure helps me perfect the videos instead of always rushing them out and being able to consistently do 2 per week, but I could never give this up. Especially the hard ones where you have multiple challenges and have to think on the fly. Plus I can't wait until the kids are old enough to come with me on these
10 bucks says that thing had just been unloaded and they were driving it onto the property when the driver turned sideways (let's say to let a vehicle pass by) with the raised boom (so they could see to drive it), and gravity did the rest.
Word got out that you right upside down teles... These are interesting technical lifts, skill building for you, and very entertaining for us viewers👌👌.
I like the video clarity on that new tiny camera. The audio beeper during the backup scene was pretty intense with my Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro headphones.
Everything was spot on. New camera is sick! Saw ur pic of it right before I played this video. I’m thoroughly impressed with the camera…. Oh and you did an ok job too😂…..lol I’m kidding. That was a tough one. You did damn well.
At least the boom isn’t extended all the way out like in your other video. And the construction workers didn’t even know how to operate that lift. Enjoy your videos, miss doing the rigging when I was in the service.
Press and hold the button by your thumb on the directional control lever as you shift it into gear. Its a safety so that you cant knock it into gear accidentally
Hey Josh, can you take a snapshot of that new camera, the GO 360S ? Amazon shows two types and I just want to get a closer look at the one you got. Thanks Bro, really appreciate it.
Yes, there is the Insta360 GO 3 which is NOT the one you want. There is an even newer one called the GO 3S. it's important to put the "S" after the 3. That is the new 4k one!
No joke Alex did THREE this past week alone. THREE. I have to break up the videos and space them out so you guys don't get bored of these lol they're becoming the new container
Jeffery cam was great, nice backup skills. I would say the operator (IT this is called the wetware) error is the issue, not putting the outriggers down or having the boom way too far extended when moving
Seems this is probably our 50th telehandler job this year alone lol and Alex has like 4 in the past 2 weeks I'll be uploading soon. What do you guys think is the issue with these always flipping over?? I can take a wild guess

😂😂😂
And they sleep a lot

Josh,
That little camera is great.
The picture is crystal clear even when you are moving around and in the sunlight.
Second this comment, little camera is impressive, audio good, and Hulk did a good job as well
People in cars so rude and inconsiderate of recovery going on! Good job
I was glued to my phone watching this. Better than any show on TV.
Awesome!!!

The video and sound quality was great. You and your team also did a great job as always. 🖒🖒🖒 To your question, its the lack of training of the operators of the equipment.
Another one. Rental companies should really vet who rents these things
