Makita CXT 12v Long Reach Hedge Trimmer Testing & Review

Got this for a family favour and was so impressed it's my go-to trimmer now - pretty much good for everything except smashing down thick stuff! I was skeptical with the motor unit being at the far end, but the leverage effect on this is more than offset by not having the weight of a traditional drive shaft! Super light, super nimble, does not have to be locked between telescoping lengths (really useful) - also available in their 18v system but I'm pretty sure the motor units are the same.
