Beech Reduction

Pretty hard 'practical outcome' reduction for this beech - still managed to get a reasonable shape out of it 🤙

Thanks mate :) aiming for up to 70, I think we got down to a firm 50/60% and still got a reasonable shape 🤙
Looking back wish I’d poled in the left side a touch more tho… 🤦‍♂️

That’s a heavy reduction on a beech.

In fairness it’s a relatively young tree and wounds are small. Large wounds on beech is what to avoid.

Very heavy… the customer wanted 70% but I didn’t think that was doable so went as hard as I thought it could take 👍
