I've never seen or heard of waffle pancakes before this video, but I LOVE French-toast pancakes! You make them by tearing bread, ideally a sweet bread like panettone, babka, brioche etc. into small pieces, then soaking them in whatever beaten-egg mixture you usually use to make regular French toast, then pouring the combined bread-bits and mostly-absorbed egg mixture into a heated, buttered pan to a size you'll be able to flip readily, cooking both sides until browned as you like. All the best features of pancakes and French toast!

This has been the most annoying exchange I've experienced with someone about my orientation, but it's still headache-enducing!

4:27 how about a pancake cake? (The main plot of a beloved Swedish children's book revolves around making one. Or rather the hassle to get the tools to repair the bicycle to get to the store to buy flour to make it. But the old man does pull through with making the pancake cake for his cat's birthday.)
Once at a house party I fell asleep on a guy's lap and woke up to him explaining his pansexuality. He said that if he was into someone and they transitioned he would still be into them because the body doesn't matter. I kept my eyes closed and pretended to still be asleep the whole time but it was so sweet and heartwarming. I'm mid-way through my transition and hearing someone say that really, really helped me to be less scared about future relationships.
I love your videos Jamie! Ever since my AFAB best friend came out as a demiboy, I have started watching your channel as well as some other UA-cam channels owned by trans people to try and gain a better understanding of my friend’s experience. So far your videos have been very helpful! I learned a lot of new terms and I understand gender dysphoria a lot better now. It’s so sad knowing that my best friend experiences it, but hopefully once he gets top surgery it will get better. Anyway, thank you so much for informing people on this topic-it’s very helpful.

Deeply relatable. "So many options!" is the most irritating response I get to my sexuality. Like, yeah, except all the people with incompatible orientations, the people who don't want to date a pan person, the people who just aren't interested... (I'm very happy with my current adorable trans femme enby partner, but they're also literally like the fourth person I've ever been with.)
As a bi it’s a different feeling when a mascs is hawt compared to a femes or andros, but from what I’ve heard pan is the same feeling for all that they find hawt
No matter what you're going through, you made it this far already. I'm proud of you. Never forget how amazing you are. Remember that you deserve to be happy, to be yourself, to take a break when you're tired. Take it easy and never give up, you are not alone.
Don't sell yourself short and think you're out of someone's league. Short story time! There was this person at work that I thought was really, really cute. We talked a lot in passing. Said passing conversations turned into a few hours a night at work in conversation. I automatically thought he was out of my league cuz this person was amazing to me. They've got to be taken and their partner is extremely lucky to have them out of my league type. .... a couple years later I start a lot of overtime and end up talking to them way more. And noticed that I would talk to them for months now after their shift was over and I was going into my usual shift and we would talk for more than an hour or two. Then they asked me out.... I was dumbfounded and took the chance and said yes. It's been over a year and change now and we're still together. They are an amazing person. Also turns out they were purposely staying after work just to talk to me more. ❤ so never sell yourself short, if that can happen to me; it can happen to you. Best of luck out there. ❤
Years ago my friend made a joke about how pansexual means you literally love everything and that our pan friend had a crush on a basketball. My 10ish dummy self believed every word and was just like, 'ok, I guess that's how love works.' I should've figured out I was aro sooner than I did.

For the pansexual culture one about transition: I'm guessing what felt so wrong is the person's gender never changed so loving them the entire time has NOTHING to do with being pan. If it said before and after they figure out their trans that may have worked.
There is an unfortunate belief in parts of the pan community that they are the only people who are attracted to trans people. There are so many people of all other orientations who have stuck by their partner through their transition and loved them the same. This includes bisexuals, who've been slandered for years as being transphobic and enbyphobic by that kind of pansexual. Honestly, I think Jammi blew a call by including that one. It's an insult to a lot of people.
@@lysanamcmillan7972 True. If someone lets attraction to trans men and women be the difference between bi and pan than they don't believe their gender is real, which I know I've heard of some pan people doing that. Treating before, during, and after transition as more than two genders is saying gender is determined by their appearance. Also when I said " If it said before and after they figure out their trans that may have worked" it's only really closer to working / only works if the gender was never a factor at all to you. It could be bi if their assigned gender and true gender happened to be the two you were attracted to. Then you got very lucky! : ) Alternatively you could be okay with a relationship based on love but with no physical attraction to the person especially if you were demi-ace or something. Maybe what it really could have said was: pan culture is your partner never having to fear that you might fall out of attraction with them as they continue to discover themself and their true gender identity.

BTW, "iDK" _is_ an acronym + Internet slang _and as such,_ newer than the standard x/x English formula for shorthand.
As a panromantic trans person, I can confirm that I love someone no matter where they are in their transition. I will respect them always :)

As a panromantic ace, I almost cried and this made me so happy, thank you for this. I really appreciate it and felt very valid
As a bisexual, my favorite form of invalidation is when LGBT people learn I'm bi and try to make me feel guilty for not being pan instead, because I 'only' like men and women! \o/
Shoutout to all my awesome pan homies, I've never had someone who is actually pan do this lol
as a lesbian, i deeply apologies if any of my fellow lesbians has ever said that to you
Weirdly I experienced just this sort of invalidation from a pan girl the other week, she couldn't wrap her head around bi meaning two *or more* it was infuriating

As a demi(pan)romantic asexual. Yeeeeh, it's what's up.
Yes, the pancake one was Sabrina. The Spellman family have an addiction to pancakes.
There's even a song about it.

it’s really weird, cause when a pansexual/myself makes a jokes about “pans liking pans” it’s really funny, but as soon as anyone else does it it’s like 😐
my pansexual friend said they were making pancakes the colors of the pan flag and without missing a beat I said "oh, so pan- cakes" and their eyes lit up like that was the greatest thing they ever heard.

I have had way too many schmucks insist that I couldn't claim to be pansexual if I didn't find them hot or didn't wanna make out with women in front of them for their entertainment! This has been the most annoying exchange I've experienced with someone about my orientation, but it's still headache-enducing!
Spongebob is ace tho, creator confirmed it (and what a happy day that was for me)
But I wouldn't be surprised if he's panromantic
Wait really? I'm ace and that makes my childhood and my day a little better :)
I laughed so hard at this and I'm not ashamed. When I tell someone that I'm pansexual and they ask what it means, I jokingly warn to "keep me away from their cast iron" 😂🤣😂🤣

Fun fact. Pancake is slang for a panromantic asexual person. Because the asexual symbol is cake. So panromantic asexual becomes: Pancake

If you're pansexual, panromantic, or any other pan identity. The way you should come out if your family is by hiding in a cupboard with the rest of the pans and when they are near jump out with your pan flag and say "I am pan(insert identity)"

i recently came out to my friends as panromantic, asexual, and started going by she/they pronouns. I am so lucky that I have such supportive friends.
Lucky. I'm bi(poly)sexual and queerplatonic and Agender and use they/per/it pronouns and my boyfriend still calls me she/her and deadnames me
As a pansexual, I got really tired of pan jokes cause they're all the same most of the time, but if I hear a new one and its good, how can I not laugh?
There’s a company called Heckin Unicorn that has pancake enamel pins in pan colors! They have a ton of subtle LGBTQ+ stuff. I have their bisexual unicorn pin on my bag 💙💜💖

I have their “frying pan” and “stack of pancakes” pin badges. They’re awesome!
As a pansexual I approve this video 👍🏻 🤣
I don't mind the odd frying pan joke, but too many gets old.
