Frugal Frau strives to live like the woman of Proverbs 31: 10-31
    10
[a]A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.
    11
Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.
    12
She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.
    13
She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.
    14
She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar.
    15
She gets up while it is still night; she provides food for her family and portions for her female servants.
    16
She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
    17
She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.
    18
She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night.
    19
In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers.
    20
She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.
    21
When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet.
    22
She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple.
    23
Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.
    24
She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes.
    25
She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
    26
She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
    27
She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
    28
Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:
    29
“Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”
    30
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
    31
Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Interesting, Ive never seen a hand tool wood worker prefer a utility knife over a marking knife. Nice work

Now I have two options, oddly I made a panel raising plane first at the Woodright school. Great video again!

Delegation…. Besides I do plenty of work around here… currently planting the garden…. Just pulled the rest of the parsnips and this afternoon and evening I am chopping them up and canning parsnip/potato/squash( from my dehydrated potatoes and squash) …I will probably end up with about 20 qts….the video editing is my domain too…

I've often wondered how raised panels were produced when only hand tools were available. For anyone wanting to use only hand tools, this is a great tutorial. For those who have to meet production deadlines, machines are the only option.

Thanks Frugal Frau and Tom. Could I selfishly ask for some more cooking stuff. (I've written to Websters about the inclusion of 'DITZEL' in their next publication. )

I will do some more cooking videos again at a later time.. They never did that well… I suspected that many thought my recipes and techniques inquest were weird because I eschew electronic gadgets and source my ingredients only from what I can grow or obtain in trade. It is the season of using up canned stuff now because in our zone 3 garden, planting has only just begun. Hopefully we can set up more ways to cook outside because in the Summer I do not enjoy firing up the wood cook stove. Plus we are ripping out the kitchen sometime later this Summer so cooking is going to become very basic… either fresh out of the garden or heat it up something canned over the electric burner. I actually kind of resent having to use that thing. What kind of food/cooking interest you?

I wanted to watch this because I was interested in watching Sukey make the panel; but, lo and behold, it is Tom doing the work while Sukey talks. Typical, isn't it?

Tom is actually much faster at all of these tasks than I am , so we choose to try to make more efficient videos. My tools are smaller, too so it takes me much longer, I am also currently laying off the hard work due to an irritated nerve in my back… crimps my style. Sorry to disappoint you.
